The only thing is we were told they had full hook ups so that's why we chose the place upon leaving another state, but it's only for overnight guests and then we stayed for a few months and had the pump out service, then purchased a tank to haul to the dump site for the grey tank. The staff were all very kind and hospitable, which made our transition a little better since we were away from the kids and that was really hard for us due to my husband's work. We loved the kindness towards our dog (some people don't keep their dogs on a leash so beware), then just tell them get their dogs on a leash. The lights at night are so beautiful from everyone's campsites and I love that you are not so militant about stomping that out like some RV sites. Thank you for allowing friends of ours to visit us from another state in their camper close to us. That was a lot of fun. Felt like home for just a little bit and was accommodating. Also, loved all the trees since we're from the Colorado Rocky Mountains. We are avid primitive tent campers, hunters, glampers - off grid RV too. We enjoyed your site. Only just clarify the full hook ups. Thank you so much!

We probably could've stayed in the cabins and still pay way less than any hotels around town. I could not believe how close this was to CP. We literally turn out of the KOA and was at the light where the giant sign is in less than 60 seconds. The grounds were clean and our spot was very centrally located and it has a paved patio, a gliding bench, built it fire-pit, table with chairs and umbrella. We were easily able to come back to the campsite in the middle of our trip to eat lunch then go back instead of paying $20 for hot dog and fries, which was another big plus. I was also super impressed with the amenities. It has a pickleball court, which I've never seen before but definitely worth noting. Because it's one of their Halloween weekends, they had trick or treating, a mini carnival games thing that sells food and include games like tire toss where you're tossing heads into the tires, etc. At night, after it got dark, they literally set up a haunted house, which apparently was pretty awesome. I stayed back to watch the dogs, but I could definitely hear screams and clowns banging on some metal barrels and made it pretty legit. Being October, their 2 pools were obviously done, but there were 2 pools! We're definitely staying there again when we go back.

The cabin was spotless and all the linens were there. We had a great stay and the office staff was friendly every time we went in there. I took off 1 star because of the pool. They said it was heated but it was cold. I asked what they heat it to and they said 72 degrees. That's 5 degrees below the recommend swimming pool temps. The kids couldn't swim to long till they were too cold.

The first night we stayed the people by us stayed up till 3 am blaring awful rap music (which I like but not for my 4year old) someone else had a fart noise on a speaker all night and didn't stop till 4 am. Not once did anyone from the camp come over to tell anyone to quit down. The people next to us weren't watching their kids and their kids ended up at our site playing which was fine, but no parents were watching their kids which is crazy in this day in age. The next day the same people were doing drugs in their car and everyone in their party was going in and out of the car. Kids all over who swear and have no adult supervision. It's extremely disgusting, annoying and just upsetting this place was like this. We were supposed to stay Sunday too but we left early bc it was so bad.

Went to take a shower after a long drive -- NO HOT WATER. I called the office to complain. Someone came to "fix", but after waiting a couple of hours after I was told it was "fixed", there was still NO hot water. Early in the morning, I tried again..... still none. Bathroom facilities by the laundry area were locked. Washers in facility were dirty. NO Amenities as advertised. NO free wifi. We checked out after not being able to shower. Basically paid $88.50 for a night's stay (Electric hookup only). Asked to get half of my money back, for the night we did stay. Reimbursement for this was never made.

The road to get to the campground was winding and very dark but when we arrived we saw a beautiful campground with paved spots. There are no amenities with only a vault toilet and water pump. Still the sites were nice and large. You pass several shooting ranges on the way to the campground. There is also a trail that loops around the campground.

Here are trash bins, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site, plus a well-blazed trail edging the campground. There are pit toilets in the center of the ring that do smell like free campground pit toilets, but they are far enough from the campsites that you'll be okay even on a hot summer day, especially if you're a ping with a self-contained unit. Our site had a great mix of field and tree cover with raspberries or other bramble fruits lining the campground. Hummingbirds, cardinals, nuthatches, and a concert of fireflies were fun to watch. The free part is especially good since there are pigeon, rifle, and handgun target ranges outside the camp loop, and you do hear them even on a Monday. And first thing Tuesday morning. This is a dry campground in every way so bring your own water. If you aren't target practicing, use your red cup and don't act like a rookie. About half the sites were in use the Monday night we stayed. Despite the ballistic sounds, the camp loop was quiet, and we had a very restful stay.
