On a rainy afternoon my sister and I wanted to have a tea at Teakha and, unfortunately, it was closed. So we looked around and saw that Homei was opened. I had seen this place before but I had never fancied it.
It's a small coffee shop, located in one of the most popular areas of the Island right now. From outside it looks like a mix of a garage and a café. In fact, it may have been a garage once, since the door is a sliding heavy one. We went in and ordered a couple of teas. They also have some simple food on the menu (sandwich, soup, pasta and cake). Most of it and most of the orders that day seemed to be just coffees or teas from what I could see. The tea was average, serve in a funny cup. To me it was just another café, with a lot of potential, but not really making the most of its location.
Inside it's small but a big chunk of the space is taken by a bar that it...way too high, you can barely see over the counter which makes it weird, for such a tiny space. And decoration wise there are some really cool things but others don't seem to have taken care of. As my sister is an artist we started to list things that we would do to that place to make it look as cool as possible and we came up with a few!
