Wits End in Clifton Park is a really neat, very expansive store. Every time I go in, I feel like I could walk around for an hour and still not see everything. They have all kinds of decorations, and if you are looking for unique Christmas ornaments or special decor pieces, this place is absolutely worth checking out. It is not just seasonal either, there are gifts and decorative items for all times of year. They even carry clothing. The prices are not cheap, but the store has an upscale aura and I personally do not mind paying more for items that feel unique and well chosen. It does not feel like a big box store, it feels more like a specialty shop where you find things you would not see everywhere else. I have heard people say the staff walk around and watch customers closely. Honestly, I can understand why. The layout has to be a security challenge, there are multiple rooms, different levels, and even an upstairs. I would imagine shoplifting could be an issue in a store set up like this. For me, the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I actually wonder how they keep track of where everything is in a place that big, that alone is impressive. Around Christmas time it gets very busy, which says a lot about how popular it is. I usually make it in about once a year during the holidays, but you could shop here anytime for unique gifts. The only thing that feels a little off putting to me is the number of signs about broken ornaments and being charged 50 percent if something is damaged. I do understand why they have them, a lot of people do not watch their kids closely and accidents happen, and adults break things too. Still, seeing the signs all over the place does change the feel a bit. That said, it definitely does not stop me from coming in. Overall, I really enjoy this store and always find something interesting when I visit.

He said I wish mom was here she would fix it and I questioned myself as a father. The pieces of the house were constructed so poorly no one would be able to make these fit. Their curtain selection still remains among the best anywhere I've shopped, and they continue to be my go-to store at least for those. I suppose you could call all the cracks in the floor tiles "artistic," but I expect it's too much of an expense to repair those. Unlike some of the chains considered more of a bargain, the shelves here were always well stocked and in order. The problem in many cases is that a lot of items just are not competitive in price, and it's less incentive for the customer to have to go online to obtain a coupon for a discount, as per signs on many shelves throughout the store. A very nice staff member found the right size. He said a youth outfit was never going to fit me. Also, my normal shoe size may be 7 but we were going to have to go bigger. I usually don't show photos of myself in my reviews but the whole point is that with proper help I was able to get waders that fit. They ran over $90 so I don't know if that was a bargain. It was a one level shop Bass Pro shop and it looked like when you walked. It looked like it went on forever, but it was just Big and Wfp level so everything was kind of like fit in there. They've all been two and three floors but this one here was unbelievable great selection of products we found T-shirts to bring home to the kids. We found a really reasonable deal on baseball caps and they said you know that it was just from New York so that's why we had to get one cause we don't have one from this particular store and every time I travel with or without the other half I try to take and I'm always get him something from Bass Pro. But they were very very helpful to us because he walks really slow and we met people in the store that was super nice. One young man held the door open for my other half of the bathroom thank them for service and I made sure I told my mother how flight and wonderful they were and she's like wow thank you so much. The Customer people they went above and beyond. I was totally taken by the fact that they were so kind so patient we were looking for particular things we were able to find size extra large socks for a young boy size 14 shoes but we weren't able to find the shoes. Unfortunate. But they were super kind. They went out back and looked. They brought the guy out that runs at Dept. He looked for them. He finally found one package away in the back, which was awesome. "Tailor" of amazing service and gratitude…read more Had out of State services to attend for my Uncle. (From Essex, Vermont) Of course I waited to pack and it's been a while since I needed to suit up. I went to my collection of jackets from over the years the night before which has grown in numbers as my sizes have changed. The next morning (same day leaving to Latham NY. At 1PM) I had to scramble to try and get a suit jacket that would fit. This wouldn't be an easy task as I assumed nothing off the rack would fit. Went to Mens Warehouse in Williston VT. About 11:30 AM and was assisted by Daryl the new store Manager. He was professional understanding of my dilemma and jumped into action. When we dialed in the best possible fit off the rack in a nice black jacket I asked about tailoring the cuffs and asked if it was possible on the spot. He mentioned he didn't currently have a tailor in store but also mentioned his prior location was in Clifton Park NY. (15 mins from where the service was.) Daryl placed a call to his prior location and coordinated an appointment for 4PM for me same day. Fast forward I arrived in the Clifton Park Mens Wearhouse location, suit in hand at 4PM. The tailor Oksana had me dialed in and out the door in 30 mins. She even steamed my shirt to make sure I was good to go. I couldn't have been treated better. Went straight to the wake and was pleased to share the days events with family members at dinner afterwards. They were left in disbelief the level of care, customer service and amazing outside the box thinking helped make my unrealistic goal a reality.
