A week and a half before our wedding the suit for…read moremy 6 year old nephew fell through and we went to Jos A Banks in Clifton Park and asked if we would be able to get a suit in time. They told us it would take a week but they could do it. They measured him for over 30 minutes and had him try on jackets, shirts and shoes for another 30 minutes. They assured us that when it came in if there was anything that didn't fit they'd be able to fix it right then and no matter what we'd walk out of the store with a perfect suit for him. The suit came in and was so small he couldn't even try parts of it on. They told us the only option was to remeasure him and they would overnight a suit to the store and bring it to us because we would already be at wedding events the next day. The man there was extremely rude to me throughout the process. The next day we got a call saying oops the suit never shipped and wasn't going to come in at all that day but not to worry they would drive it to us the day of the wedding! We were very upset. We were promised a bunch of options would be brought to us to ensure he had something perfect to wear. The wedding day came and they showed up an hour later than promised (only 2 hours before pictures were supposed to start). She brought only one suit and 2 shirts. The jacket was HUGE on him. So her solution was to use a dozen safety pins to pin it to his length. Those safety pins poked him through the whole ceremony and caused him to cry and have to be changed into other clothes immediately. The pants were so huge he looked like a clown. The shirt was so big she just rolled the sleeves up a bunch of times. They could NOT fit a suit on this kid after a combined 2 hours of measuring and making him try things on. They could NOT meet any deadline or promise they made to us. And they ruined our wedding day for a 6 year old boy who instead of matching the wedding party like intended had to be changed into his shorts and T-shirt for our wedding and photos. And worst of all they could NOT have been rudder or more unprofessional throughout the process. When I say we were actually laughed at when we voiced our struggles that is just the tip of the iceberg when it came to the terrible customer service. We returned the suit and told them how absolutely terrible he looked. Everyone at the store made it clear they did not care at all. All of our wedding guests, wedding venue and vendors were so disgusted by this they are guaranteeing us they will never use this company ever.

Jacket is too wide and pants are not slim fitting, Desiree says shell put a rush on alterations and have it ready for the wedding the following Saturday free of charge. Tuesday the manager calls and tells me they cant do full taper on pants before wedding but will take in from waist too knee around the thigh, bring in the jacket from the sides not the back like Desiree marked and to drop off for the rest after wedding (suit will be ready Thursday night). Friday i come in and Jason says bring in suit after wedding and they'll do all the alterations. They didn't do anything and suggested that I am lying because he was standing next to manager when he called me Tuesday and that they wouldn't do alterations without payment. Also told me Desiree does not know how to mark alterations!!!! Then why is she in store alone on weekend! ?? Asked where the manger was, "not here". Awesome!!!! Spent 600$ on something I don't like and will have to pay another tailor to alter since Ill never return to this store. Jason was unapologetic and just wanted me out of the store. He got his commission and well see if he tells the manager to call me like I requested.

"Tailor" of amazing service and gratitude…read more Had out of State services to attend for my Uncle. (From Essex, Vermont) Of course I waited to pack and it's been a while since I needed to suit up. I went to my collection of jackets from over the years the night before which has grown in numbers as my sizes have changed. The next morning (same day leaving to Latham NY. At 1PM) I had to scramble to try and get a suit jacket that would fit. This wouldn't be an easy task as I assumed nothing off the rack would fit. Went to Mens Warehouse in Williston VT. About 11:30 AM and was assisted by Daryl the new store Manager. He was professional understanding of my dilemma and jumped into action. When we dialed in the best possible fit off the rack in a nice black jacket I asked about tailoring the cuffs and asked if it was possible on the spot. He mentioned he didn't currently have a tailor in store but also mentioned his prior location was in Clifton Park NY. (15 mins from where the service was.) Daryl placed a call to his prior location and coordinated an appointment for 4PM for me same day. Fast forward I arrived in the Clifton Park Mens Wearhouse location, suit in hand at 4PM. The tailor Oksana had me dialed in and out the door in 30 mins. She even steamed my shirt to make sure I was good to go. I couldn't have been treated better. Went straight to the wake and was pleased to share the days events with family members at dinner afterwards. They were left in disbelief the level of care, customer service and amazing outside the box thinking helped make my unrealistic goal a reality. Truly appreciate Daryl and Oksana for thier understanding and making it all happen. Thank you.

This store has seen better days…read more Years and years (and years) ago, this was one of my go-to stores for many items, chief among these were men's clothing and housewares. But the "feel" in some of these areas has gone downhill; a few times while I was walking around, I had to remind myself I wasn't in Marshall's. But the experience here is not all bad. Their curtain selection still remains among the best anywhere I've shopped, and they continue to be my go-to store at least for those. I suppose you could call all the cracks in the floor tiles "artistic," but I expect it's too much of an expense to repair those. Unlike some of the chains considered more of a bargain, the shelves here were always well stocked and in order. The problem in many cases is that a lot of items just are not competitive in price, and it's less incentive for the customer to have to go online to obtain a coupon for a discount, as per signs on many shelves throughout the store. I'm glad this store is still open, because I do want to consider it as an option. But... for how much longer??

I figured this would be perfect to take his mind off things since this will be his first Christmas's since his mother left us for his bus driver. And to make things worse he caught them in the act. I wanted him to enjoy the old fashion fun of building his own little slice of Christmas. We picked up the "favorite day" brand kits. I felt they would be nice because they are a target brand... but I made the mistake of trusting the product that was constructed with greed and pure evil not Christmas spirit. As Edgar started unboxing his kit I instantly knew something was wrong. He tried putting the pieces together and nothing fit properly. He was so frustrated the tears started flowing down his face. To make matters worse he said the white creamy icing reminded him of his bus driver. He tried over and over to make the pieces fit and the house tumbled down continuously. He said I wish mom was here she would fix it and I questioned myself as a father. The pieces of the house were constructed so poorly no one would be able to make these fit. Edgar then started acting out in frustration. Taking the individual components of the house and trying to swallow them whole saying this is what mommy did with yellow bus Bennie. Let's just say thanks to target I lost my Christmas and now my son. I'll never forget the pain in his eyes as it kept toppling over. Christmas is about family, Jesus, good times, and memories. I know they're going to be getting new businesses but I don't know where they're going. I think their map is up to date for what is in the mall. This saves you a ton of money. However, for hardware sized smaller than 1/4-20 you are out of luck. They also sell dog food including some high-end, quality brands (that is what brought us here). They are always having sales on tools and stuff. They have a visiting vet for your animal that comes a couple of hours a week and offers discounted vet services. They sell live animals like chickens in the spring- say what? If you need lumber or windows this isn't the place for you. If you need the stuff you might have found one time at a well stocked "General Store" though, come here!
