I recently stopped by this HomeGoods because my job gave me a gift card and I needed a few things for my apartment. I actually really like this location. It was packed when I went, but honestly, I love a busy HomeGoods because it usually means there is a lot to choose from. When I first walked in, they had Christmas decorations everywhere, which makes sense since the holidays are coming up. The store had a ton of items. I do wish it were a little bigger because they really pack it full, but I still found some great things, especially two casserole bowls for the holidays that were a great deal. I usually like to check Ross and Burlington first and then come to HomeGoods for the extra things I need, and this location did not disappoint. They had a huge selection of pillows, tons of dishes and kitchenware, and a decent amount of furniture. Not a ton, but enough. There was also plenty of wall art, lamps, and basically everything you expect from a good HomeGoods. I went on a Sunday evening around 5 PM, and the parking lot was big enough. I can see how it might get tight during really busy times, but when I went, there was plenty of parking available. It is in a shopping center just a block over from SouthPark Mall, which is super convenient. Overall, I would definitely recommend this HomeGoods. They had some nice stuff, and I am already planning to go back for a few more things for my place. read more

This is one of the best stocked Homegoods I've ever been to and it's a convenient location for me which is a plus. There is plenty of parking and upon arrival you will be greeted outside with patio furniture for sale. They usually have a great variety of products with a large selection. I enjoy checking out kitchen gadgets, pet items, and picture frames. They have some unique foods to choose from as well. I always stock up on dog treats and toys because they are such a great price. This Homegoods can get really crowded especially on the weekends creating a long line at checkout. You just have to be patient and preserver! Sometimes I like to wander the store just to look for new and unique items. It's a great place to buy towels, sheets, and pillows at an affordable price. read more

I had to leave a review for this store because of the awesome service I received on a recent visit. I needed to return some items that I purchased at the TJMaxx HomeGoods in Concord, but to my surprise, since they were labeled with TJX stickers and this is a HomeGoods store that was an issue. The man who helped me seemed to be new, but a coworker nearby overheard the conversation and chimed in to confirm there is a way to work around the system to process the return and scan/reticket the items. I was very thankful because they didn't have to do that for me or tell me that. I'm sure there are some individuals who would not want the extra work. Although I told them that if it was a hassle I would gladly return them where I purchased them, they insisted on helping. Such an unexpected pleasant experience. read more

I went back into this store today. I had an exchange. The line was long, the store was packed with goodies.. but I'm here to talk about, CINDY! My cashier was amazing! She was so patient as alI searched for my receipt. She was personable and didn't make me feel rushed at all. It made me forget how long the line was; but it moved quickly. Although the line can always seem long, it moves very quickly in an orderly fashion and the employees are always too sweet. I was in line for a return. The associate on cash register 1 finished with the customer. The lady behind me was only buying a Coke so I said she could go ahead of me and she said no go ahead. I pushed my cart up and the associate was putting a tag on a carpet so I waited. When she finished she looked at me and said...I did not push the button. I told her what had happened and said I had a return. I got my first 2 items out of the bag with the receipt. I went back to the cart to get the second return on a different receipt. The cashier said have to unwrap these two items. I was returning dishes so I was going to start unwrapping those. She said no if I wanted to return them I had to unwrap them or get back inline. She was rude and unreasonable and was not going to help me unwrap any of the dishes. I got back inline and the other customers in line said that was ridiculous. I shop frequently at Homegoods but will not go back and be treated like that. I would never treat someone especially a customer like that. read more

HomeGoods has mostly everything you need and more for your home. The prices are reasonable and they constantly change what's in stock so you can walk in one week and not find the same thing the next week. They are the sister store to Marshall's and TJ max, but only for home items. You can get cards, candies, inspiration wall art, bathroom, living/ dinning room, kitchen, and more here. This location is in a strip shopping center with other stores and there is plenty of parking. I think it's prime to come here around the holidays and great for gifting. I like this location. Seeing as we just bought a new house - we'll be spending a lot of time at HomeGoods over the next few months. This location has some of the best lighting options around! So many beautiful lamps. I ca t wait to decorate. They have a limited but nice selection of furniture too. I enjoy perusing the isles in search of gifts and housewares. Today I bought a bunch of cards (they have the best selection for fancy cards) and a very large candle for all under $30. The women who work here are really sweet! There's a lot of great stuff to look through. It's too bad though that the shelf's are way over loaded woth so much stuff. The store seems to be way too small for the amount of stuff that's crammed into it. I couldn't even go down almost half of the isles because someone was on each isle with a buggy and there's no way to get around without knocking something over. Which would explain why nearly everything has some sort of damage to it. read more

This particular HomeGoods feels more like a token store given the stock than others like the new RiverGate store or the Ballantyne location. I run into this one for hangers or maybe to find that 1 piece to complete the set that I couldn't find at another location. read more

I'm a huge fan of HomeGoods in general but had no idea that this was so close to my house. This has a huge selection of furnature, and other "home goods". Great quality products at reduced price. I'll even give you a secret, their K cups are so much cheaper than the grocery store. This is by far my favorite Home Goods in the Charlotte area. Some of that is that it is a dedicates store, not an outpost in a Marshalls or TJ Maxx. More space means more product that I can talk myself into or out of needing, depending on the day. There is always a wide selection of items, particularly in the more useful sections like bedding, furniture and lighting. I love a wide selection of ceramic chickens (almost) as much as the next girl, but it's nice to see stuff I might actually have a use for. Do be warned. If you see something you like you need to grab it and fast. Turnover is super quick and I've had one day of delay be the difference between "They have 2." and "Dang, all sold out!" read more

My first time buying anything from home goods. I shop at TJ Maxx and Marshalls often and know that Home Goods is owned by the same people. I have heard great things about this chain and have received gifts from HG that I really liked. Finally, one opened near my house in the south park area so I was excited to check it out. The whole store is very clean and brand new! The prices here are excellent, I was able to buy quality porcelain plates for $2 on clearance! Other than kitchen goods, this store also have things for your bathroom, living room, bedroom anything for your home when it comes to decorating, storage, organizing or equipments. I love this place so much I am excited to come back here to get items for my new apartment at grad school. Oh they are currently hiring! If I had knew this earlier I would probably have even applied(as a temporary part time job before school starts), no lie. However, school starts in a month so I am out of luck. - some good treasures.... I'm partial to some of the Italian and Portuguese ceramics. Not a fan of the Turkish ( I think) glass. Overall, more variety and fresh additions would be great. Lots of same-old same-old. - some fun gourmet deals, but also some super- yuck edibles. Beware of, for example, coffee or snack brands you've never heard of. I've snagged some brands I know, like Kind Bars, but a friend in Boston had a really disgusting experience( bugs) with hers'.... so I'm no longer comfortable with food. - As much as I love deals, I try to support fair-trade, hand-made artisan products, sensitivity to the health of the environment and people.., I see too much mass-produced low quality stuff.... furniture, accessories, candles, ( the candles have become worse...chemical smells, parafin, nothing natural. Cheap looking mirrors and omg WALL ART that looks right off a giant container ship from China. ( we have a tons of talented artists in Charlotte - look around for original art! The price range starts lower that the generic Chinese cliches at Hg, Target, etc. - Some of the cool stuff, like ceramic pots from Mexico and Vietnam, have gone way up in price. Have you noticed? Plus, it's about impossible to find a pair. And if you want a matching pot, for example, there is no inventory system to help find the second! This would make more sense if HomeGoods offered more of a "You Never Know Treasure Hunt.., But the inventory has become stale and lower in quality(China). So why no inventory records? And the growing Inventory from India? It's gotten generic ,overpriced, low quality and oh-so predictable. I have found lovely Portuguese linens... and too much ridiculously high thread count junk.(China) I long for the old treasure hunt... not the mediocre same-old same-old collection of lower quality stuff. Whereas I used to occasionally find an All Clad deal, lately I see endless junky pots and pans ... even the horrifying " The Palm" collection. Can you say Tommy Bahama? Please Tjx stop the weird in-house labels... not good! I've owned stock for many years .., ( tjx= HomeGoods, Marshall's and TJ Maxx... others?) And I've shopped for many years at all 3. I want this company to do well. And to do good. Including employees - there are so many helpful and nice employees. I hope they are being treated well by the company. I think this location is one of the better stores in Charlotte, but I am not writing to comment on the mix of Home Goods merchandise. I writing to praise a specific customer service representative at Home Goods who is exceptional and should be recognized if she has not been already. I am a night owl and do most everything late at night, including my shopping. I am often one of the last customers to leave the Home Goods store at closing time. I have come to know, and even look for, the shining face of a special Home Goods employee, who is generally there at closing, at the register or organizing stock. Her name is Reign and you cannot miss her. She has different color hair every time I see her and is always wearing a big smile. Reign is a beautiful name, but it doesn't describe this special lady who is more like sunshine on legs. Reign actually remembers me from one visit to the next, takes the time to say hello, ask me how I am doing and if she can help me in any way. I don't generally write reviews and have never written one like this before. I meet many customer service people in my daily travels and many are downright rude. Often they don't look you in the face because that would require them to stop gossiping with their co-workers and counting down the hours until they get off work, I just wanted to shed light on someone who is an exception to this experience and say, Reign, you lift spirits every day. Typically I go in home goods on a mission and don't find what I'm looking for, but I always leave with something else that caught my eye! The items at this Home Goods is very high quality but the customer service sucks! I ask how long the hold time was and the cash representative stated until the End of the day. I kindly ask her to place the item on hold for me. I came back literally 2 hours later the piece was gone and sold because I couldn't find it on the sales floor. The manager seemed unbothered by my sadness and brushed me off like it never happened. So if your looking for a place for good customer service while your shopping for your home, this is not the place. read more

They get in shipments several times in a week full of goodies... and I've been able to stock my (new) home with beautiful decorations and products for my kitchen, bedrooms, living areas and bathrooms. Awesome Homegoods in a good area. They seem to have a quick turnover and heavily discount items they have for longer. They have everything from large furniture to kitchenware. Great brands in trendy styles. Staff is extremely friendly and will help you do everything. They take returns for up to 30 days if you have second thoughts, no questions asked. Huge plus! I've gotten tabouret chairs for just $50 a pop and throw pillows for $5. If you see something, snatch it before someone else does! Only downside is many items seem to come in damaged so be sure you inspect first. read more
