The price point on this stuff is awesome and they usually offers sales on everything at some point. I picked up a sample pumpkin spice coffee and headed to the grocery section in back. They have great mixed beer packs which is what I grabbed for a gift along with some wine infused salami and smoke cheese. I placed an online order with World Market over a week ago. Both items included in the order showed "in stock" online, but one hour after the order was placed, the order could only be fulfilled partially because one of the items is actually not in stock. Their customer service reps are located in Panama and the two I talked to over the phone for this order were full of attitudes and not helpful at all. When I told them my credit card still shows pending charge for the canceled item 6 days after the order was canceled, she told me I should call my bank for this issue. Based on this experience, I'll never order from World Market again. They try to save money by putting CSRs in Panama, but the quality of their service damages their business. read more

How did I not know there was a World Market in Cotswold Shopping Center? So, I moved to the area over a year ago and this shopping center has been a go to spot for some staple items, Harris Teeter, Walgreens, Starbucks, and even ABC, now World Market. I dropped in for some Easter decorations but bought so much more for the house. The store layout is great, clean, and customer service was on point. World Market offers everything from accessories to food to furniture. I definitely will be a frequent customer and happy to know I don't have to drive all the way to Pineville, ha ha! read more

I could be bias but world Market is a Favorite so I can't find anything wrong with this place. I Love everything about WM and it's important that you get a Free Explorer membership as it has so many perks. I get everything from tea, wafers, Italian soda, wine, champagne, pillows, soap, candles, furniture and more. I mean this place is a one stop shop for everything for your home and tastebuds. If you've never been to World Market you need to get there as you will find something unique to decorate with, something flavorful from another continent to eat, something to sip on from a wine county, something to snack on that's original and old school and MORE. World Market is always good for Christmas gifts for us, as they have a bit of an eclectic selection of kitchen and homewares that are worth considering. They also have a great collection of international foods including spices, candies and other side items that you're generally not going to find at the supermarkets. A great wide variety of wines and beers, too! Prices tend to be higher, but that's to be expected with stuff that's probably not being sold in bulk. My go-to spot for creative gifts! Ok, ok and maybe some "presents" for myself, too. World Market has something for everyone... Beer for my dad, fun hands-on toys for kids' birthday parties, global trinkets for my fellow wander-lusters, beautiful accessories for my mom and sister, international food finds for my foodie husband, etc. etc. I've also bought a couple colorful pieces of furniture and rugs/carpets for my home that add so much character. Love everything about this happy and fun shop ~ especially it's convenient location ~ but it's the employees who make the difference. A really friendly group of good people work here. Great place and always get international food wine clothes furniture dishes and Knick knacks here. Staff are friendly and and they have a rewards program linked to text messages . The store is typically clean and the prices vary, but they have good sales that change by the week. Every time I come someone is nearby to help. Some of the staff at this location are just as exotic as the products they sale, but hey it goes hand in hand. This store is in a strip mall with other great places so you can walk around on a Saturday afternoon. We mostly come here for gifts for friends and at Christmas time for stocking stuffers. Lots of little cool novelty toys, gourmet food items, craft beers, wine, frames, candles - yes, our stockings are very heavy!!!! If I had the money, I would redecorate my whole entire apartment! It's also a fun place to go just to do some window shopping too. I was thrilled beyond belief with World Market moved to the Cotswold Shopping Center! It's a great place to buy gifts, wine, costume jewelry, stationary, and unique home decor items. It's become my go-to place for hostess gifts because the items are reasonably priced and unique. I always love going in here to just check out all of the eclectic objects from just about anywhere. I'm a WM member to their "FREE" club. It gets me specials on certain days & I even get emails with either percentages off or cash off (they are usable for as many times with the dates listed. With it being located in the Cotswold Shopping Center I have to say there are times where I do not want to go. That place is a mad house. Think they added too many places w/a Harris Teeter, so parking and getting in is sometimes a trouble. read more

I came here for the first time the other day and I love this place. Update: I just did some Christmas shopping at the Pineville location and yep, still love this place. I could spend all of my money here. They have all kinds of neat little snacks. I like that they have globes. Their clocks are pretty. I like to sit on their various chairs and couches and run my fingers across their pillows and rugs and stuff. Their selection of teas, coffees, cocoas, and other powdery/finely chopped drinkables ALONE is enough to make me broke. This is another cute store that I came across while travelling in the area.. my friends told me about it and brought me there today.. I'm so glad they did, because this place is awesome.. such a huge variety of different items.. This is one of the smaller World Markets in the area (it's a former Old Navy as opposed to a "big box") but that's not a bad thing and doesn't hurt their selection at all. I LOVE World Market, but especially this one. This is heaven for any culture-loving food addict. Exotic foods, Belgian chocolates, wines, random toys and furniture GALORE. The shelves are stocked with my childhood favorites, making this place "home." I came into this particular location yesterday to grab some sweets and treats. I felt so welcomed and loved from the greetings at the door when I walked in, to the FOUR (not one but FOUR) staff members that asked how I was doing, if I needed help and offered me baskets for my hands full of treats. They all proceeded with a little banter and small talk, as I told them why I opted out for baskets (because I ALWAYS end up buying more if I have one). I LOVED it. I was so excited and blown away by the gourmet foods section and all of the amazing holiday sets. 10+ STARS for going ABOVE and BEYOND in CUSTOMER SERVICE! Recently I had a very positive experience with several World Market store employees that went above and beyond to help me. In early July, I was shopping at the Cotswold store in Charlotte, NC and came upon some beautiful teal eyelet embroidered robes that my daughter had noticed in an earlier visit and thought would be perfect for her to give as a gift to her bridal party. I counted three (3) robes in the store and asked that they be held so that I could locate the other eight (8) robes needed. Valerie at the Cotswold store couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I returned home and proceeded to call 13 other World Market stores ... two others in the Charlotte area and then some in North Carolina and South Carolina, and even a few across the country who showed high inventory quantities. By the end of the evening, I had located some robes that were being held for me in Greenville, SC (thank you Monica), in Greensboro, NC (thank you Mic), and in Durham, NC (thank you Holly)! I was prepared to drive to these stores which were over 4 hours away round trip to purchase the additional robes since World Market does not ship to customer's homes. In talking with Mic in Greensboro, I was explaining my plight of needing to drive these distances just to pick up the robes and I asked if it would be possible to have them shipped to the Charlotte store and then I would pay shipping charges when I made the robe purchase? Mic took it upon herself to contact upper management who gave the go ahead and then she reached out to Holly at the Durham store to request they ship the robes to Charlotte as well. I had several phone follow-up conversations with each of these individuals and they were so understanding and helpful. It is not often that people take the time or initiative to help make a customer's day! Both my daughter and I are so appreciative of these World Market employees! Thanks to them, we have all 11 robes and on my daughter's wedding day in November, I know her bridal party as well as the Mother of the Groom and I will enjoy wearing them as we get ready. I will continue to be a loyal World Market customer thanks to this excellent customer service. read more

Nice store, but a staff member that recently checked me out was not very nice. I had a reward for a 15% off coupon. Online it clearly says that when you are in the store all you need to is have your member ID # available to apply the coupon. Well the cashier that was checking me out was very rude when I was trying to explain to her what it said online. I even took a screenshot and showed her because I ended up having to go on the website, login, and try to find the barcode number. The women kept acting like I was the issue when the World Market website has misleading and confusing information. Next time I would appreciate less attitude and more understanding. read more
