The work the team did was beautiful and a great value for the price. We went a little over 10% over budget, which is just about what I expected for a project like this, and I was pleasantly surprised that we actually finished a few days early. The work comes with a 3-year warranty too (which we needed in the past and have had no trouble using), which gives extra peace of mind. Each person on the project - Elena the project manager, Juan the site supervisor, Alexa the designer, John the estimator, and especially the lead technician Cornelio was a pleasure to work with. As with any renovation, there are always surprises and hiccups along the way, but the team handled everything professionally, even when I was stressed and occasionally cranky. One thing of particular note was how much the team was willing to work with me when the inevitable surprises came up. There are things that nobody can foresee, which usually results in a change order and extra cost, but then there are those little things where everyone leaves a conversation with a different impression. In those latter instances, I always really appreciated how willing everyone was to meet me halfway and to make sure I felt good about how things were going and confident that we were doing right by each other. All in all, I highly recommend them and they will be my first call next time I have a project!

I…read morewas on the board at my previous condo for 18 years, I have been on my current condo board for eight years, and Home Perfection Contracting is the best and most professional contractor I have ever worked with. They tore off our old exterior stairs structure and siding, waterproofed the entire wall, and installed new siding and a stairs structure that is far superior to the old one. Their integrity and work quality are off the charts. The owner, Ahmad Khreshi, did thorough research before starting our well-planned project. I was impressed by his knowledge of current construction techniques and dedication to doing the job right. There were several problems that required Ahmad to think outside of the box, one being how to install siding under our existing power lines conduit which was mounted to the exterior wall at six different points. Several times, Ahmad's crew discovered water damage due to poor work by our developer. Ahmad was extremely flexible in adding repair of that damage into his work plan on top of the bid-upon work. Ahmad was kind and fair, listened to our concerns, answered our questions, kept us in the loop, worked with us on timing, and gave us a couple breaks. His crew was extremely professional and respectful, taking off their shoes when they had to come through the building and isolating interior work areas with plastic sheet dividers. When our project was completed, Ahmad send us the following. I've never worked with a contractor who followed up with an offer of help like this: "Remember, you can always reach out with any technical building related questions, in any trades. I'm more than happy to give advice and guidance on code matters or general best practices, even if you are hiring other people."

It's an old house, with a tight space, and an endless amount of obstacles to overcome in order to pull it off. We interviewed about 6 contractors and collected a number of quotes. A few contractors were not up to the task, while a few came back with either extraordinarily high or absurdly low quotes- and all of them had wonky solutions that seemed impractical. Then came Dominic. Dominic came in with a creative mind. His experience and expertise allowed him to problem solve and come up with a fantastic solution that met all of our needs, and more wants that we could've hoped for. Even more, his quote made sense. He wasn't the cheapest, or the most expensive, but he was fair. Due to a medical issue, there was a massive delay on our end getting started, yet Dominic remained flexible. Once we were finally underway, I was floored at how quickly he and his team worked. They showed up every day, on time, and worked precisely and efficiently. We were dreading having people in our home for several weeks, but his team was lovely to have around! They were polite, kind, helpful, and most importantly, skilled. I was working on several side projects (painting, refinishing cabinets, etc) and they always jumped in to help if they saw me struggling to carry something or lift something heavy. Every day they left the space cleaner than they found it. Not only are they skilled, it is clear they have an incredible work ethic and are just kind people. During the project, we wanted to change the scope a few times by adding in some flooring and a few other things that shifted the project a bit. Once again, Dominic remained flexible. He was there to offer advice- both in helping us stay within budget, while not compromising quality. And despite expanding the scope mid-project, he and his team only needed a few additional days to complete those requests. I've never hired a contractor for this scale of project before and I've heard all of the nightmares about poor quality work, lack of communication, surprise project fees, and delays in completion. We experience none of that with Top Notch Contractors. Dominic and his team delivered everything they promised and more. There were no billing surprises at the end of the project and even though we were satisfied with everything, he and his team were still touching up little things as they were walking out of the door.
