We didn't know what we were getting into when we bought our incredible '56 Midcentury home. Lots of moving parts to many projects and finding the right support & services along the way has been paramount. We needed a team of trusted contractors that we could called on a dime & trust the service was impeccable. The other concern was our home is in an upscale area and we don't have deep pockets like it may appear. We are aware contractors will try to charge more because of where our house is and not being honest with pricing. This has not been the case with Roof Right. As a seasoned consumer, you know when you experience outstanding service with a company. I'm not sure why other then lack of my own experience, I wasn't thinking there would be much difference between one roofing company and another...I was wrong! Roof Right Hampstead, was the previous owners roofer. So when we needed some slates replaced & a copper gutter reinforced, we called Roof Right & two other recommendations for an estimate. Roof Right had a fair estimate. Wasn't the lowest but thought we'd give them a shot since they knew the house and were incredibly professional from the get-go. From start to finish, the office kept us up to date along the way. Odi Sarabia is a roofing specialist at Roof Right. We love Odi! He came to give us our first estimate. Odi knows every inch of our massive slate roof because he'd overseen it for over 10yrs with the previous owners. His recall & memory are amazing. And Odi is so patient and pleasant at times when I've been scattered & not following through on my end with emails:) Roof Right has been a part of our kitchen remodel. Taking down an indestructible chimney, putting in skylights, rain chains & more slate replacement....our 150+ giant oak tree is relentless with her acorns, Right Roof has come through. There was a moment within our kitchen design where we were considering extending the kitchen by 10'. Although we had great experience with Roof Right, we wanted 3 estimates for this expansion. One of the roofing companies said we would need to replace our entire 3,000'+ slate roof. Which wasn't the case. That particular roofer was trying to rip us off. Even though we ended up not doing the extension, Roof Right made the best offer all around. And Odi took time to go over exactly what would be done on the project with our project manager. I would absolutely recommend Roof Right Hampstead to my friends, family, neighbors & you! I'm so glad they are a part of our team as caretakers of this incredible house. Had used them before to repair a roof leak. Called for estimate on flashing/ repair around a door install. Was emailed that they don't want the job because it may still leak. Doesn't tell me they are confident in their abilities. Maybe just not big enough job? If not, why not say it? Next year, when we have a deck built, windows replaced, and gutters replaced, guess who will NOT be invited to give an estimate! read more

Call a number of roofing companies, just look and said the estimated amount... call Roof Right, Michael came inside, did a walkthrough of the attic..... explain the process....once I agree to have the work done. The workers showed up On Time, very professional, project manger and job supervisor introduced themselves, check to make sure everything was ok...The job was done in 1 day, (Wednesday) Friday the Gutter work was done....My roof and gutters look awesome, very happy!!!! Highly recommend. We had a roof done several years ago and we were completely satisfied so we decided to try them again with two more big projects. We started with a meeting and an estimate with Mike for new windows and siding. Mike was upfront and knowledgeable, more like a friend than a sales guy. We were pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the workers. We had a couple minor issues which were addressed to our complete satisfaction. When roof right was here they were professional and told me they would fix problems that they didnt. They have been out multiple times and because of their negligence we are having problems in other parts of our house. I have called multiple times and the last time the manager said he was going to hang up the phone because we were getting nowhere. I would never recomend roof right to anyone! read more

Almost $500 to reseal 2 vent pipes and $75 for a roof inspection. They came out and sealed the pipes and 5 minutes later they were done and leaving my house. No roof inspection and absolutely no interaction at all. Not pleased at all. read more

I highly recommend Roof Right - they replaced my roof about 4 years ago. Jason came out to estimate the job. He was professional and the work the crew did was excellent at a reasonable cost (based on the bids I got). We had some windy weather a few weeks ago and I lost a couple of pieces of fascia at the highest peak resulting in the soffit flapping in the wind. (This trim is original to my 25 year old house and had nothing to do with the roof.) I called Roof Right to see if they worked on trim, and Jason came out. He saw that the trim pieces that came off weren't damaged, and decided it would be easier to just get his ladder off the truck and nail them up for me. His rationale was it was quicker to just take care of it than writing up a work order. Roof Right is a first class operation and I can't recommend them more highly as an honest and reputable company... and Jason's an All Star. read more

The salesman came out to give me an estimate for a new roof. He was 20 minutes late for the appointment. I had another company coming to do an estimate an hour later. The salesman never sent me an estimate and when I called to inquire about that I was told he like that I had another company coming to give me an estimate and that he didn't think I was serious about getting a new roof. I have since hired another company and they are doing not only my roof but my neighbors. VERY poor customer service. read more

I recently contracted with Roof Right (RR) for my roof replacement and I'm glad I did. I gathered 5 estimates for the job, RR was not the lowest, but I was impressed with the professional way they approached the job from the beginning. I visited the showroom 3 times, and each time, Craig Mott and all the folks I met were very knowledgeable and helpful. During the site visit the inspector, Mike Daddario, was extremely focused and checked all aspects of the job. I myself am a former inspector on construction projects and I really appreciated Mike's attention to the small details of the job. Everyone at RR was very accommodating. They answered all my questions and concerns, both by phone, emails and during my showroom visits. I would highly recommend Roof Right to anyone who wants a job done correctly and in a timely manner. read more

I couldn't be more pleased! After a horrible experience with a gutter company that came out to clean my gutters, told me I needed a new roof right now or the sky was going to fall in, and then proceeded to give me a hard time when I Told them I would be getting a second opinion because this is a HUGE investment, I cannot even begin to explain how please I am with Roof Right. The specialist called the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way, and then called to let me know he was stuck in traffic and he was going to be about 15 minutes late. That was extremely professional on his part. When he got here, he was courteous and had a great personality that made me feel completely at ease. He did a thorough inspection of the attic and roof, provided detailed explanations, drawings, pictures, and options. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. While I can probably sneak another year out of my roof due to a few minor things he fixed with some new gaskets, I will definitely be calling Roof Right when the time comes to replace the roof and skylight. I will also be referring them to my friends in the area that might need some work done. read more

Bottom line is I asked for a quote. They were very professional, and helpful when they came out to inspect the slate roof and work the quote. However out of the 3 estimates they were over 3x as expensive as both other contractors for pretty much same job. Not saying they do not good work, b/c I did not hire them. Just make sure before you go with this company, you get several other estimates. They quoted at around $2,600 and the winner quoted me at about $900. read more

This has been an outstanding experience in customer service and employee that have gone above and beyond to coordinate our unique requests and needs for our commercial exterior door. She has worked with our security vendor to ensure that the door will meet our needs and she has coordinated with them to schedule upcoming installation. Because of our outstanding experience with our door we have since used Roof Right for a roof issue that we recently encountered. Our roof experience was also outstanding. Linda scheduled us for Gabriel to come onsite within days of me calling, he was earlier than scheduled and made the necessary repairs in a timely manner. He not only addressed the issue I had called about but also informed me of blown off shingles that I was not aware of. He took pictures of the roof issues prior to repairing and explained them to me and then made the necessary repairs and showed me pictures of the completed repairs. Outstanding and timely customer service in the construction industry is rare and they have surpassed expectations on two occasions. We will be a repeat customer! read more

The work done was excellent. So far everything is as stated in the contract. The workers were very polite and definitely cleaned up once they were finished. Thank you to the gentleman who helped me up when I slipped and fell on my sidewalk. Imagine my surprise when I was looking up at the sky. Anyway they would have gotten a five star rating. But I wasn't notified about the day and time they were coming out. I didn't know about it until 3 days before the actual job. I will recommend your Company to future customers. Please read this before signing a contract with Roof Rite , I wish I was lucky enough to have had a warning . Signed Contract for a Replacement slider door , new storm door , shutters and a Patio job . Now they are not the cheapest by far and I assumed I'd get what I paid for . Boy was I wrong . Sliding door even after two measures , came in opening the wrong way . Storm door was not even the door I ordered . Their attitude about the storm door was that I should just "make do " . So both doors go back , wait 3 weeks , doors come , get installed . The Storm door is missing a closer , then they wanted to charge me for another !! Patio , looked good when they finished until they didn't properly apply the locking sand , the dye from sand locked onto all the red brick turning white . It's known as " Paver Haze " . So now they come by scrub with a chemical , not once but twice to get it off , meanwhile stripping off the factory seal on bricks . So next , they have to put a seal on it , guess what ? , they do it wrong and once the patio looks terrible . Signed contract March 3rd , now June 9th , still it is not right , spring is gone , never got to use . No one from the office ( owner's ) never called to apologize, never offered to compensate in any way . Frankly I don't think they care , communication at the office is non existent, nobody knows whats going on . Waste of time , waste of money , aggravating beyond believe ! Be warned , get your work done by anyone other then these guys . read more

If a company was rated on how inept they are and how badly they treat customers, Roof Right gets an A+. I contacted them about three months ago because my roof was leaking. A very nice salesman came out. But since then, it was all down hill. They asked me to sign a contract that required half payment at signing and half on completion of work. When I signed it and called to make payment, they said it was all due, before any work had been done. When I said I wouldn't do that and would pay according to the terms of the agreement they wrote and signed, they went off the rails. One employee said they were cancelling the job and wouldn't get in a pissing contest with me. The front office lady sent me a nasty email. They never, ever apologized. They did tarp the roof, eventually. It still leaks. It took well over a month for them to get my insurance company a detailed estimate, something they should have sent initially. Every time I emailed to inquire about the status of delivering that estimate, they treated me like I was inconveniencing them. The scope of the work they proposed was significantly more than what my insurance company would authorize but they said they would still consider it if Roof Right provided them some additional information . They never provided it to my insurance co. I don't recall being treated like less than a customer until I engaged Roof Right. So they have that going for them. Their complete lack of consideration for the customer and for working with my insurance company was staggering. So, beware. They will try to get out of honoring the contract they have you sign and they will be completely unresponsive to your inquiries. I don't even care that their estimate was sky high. But if you're charging those prices, and even if you aren't, a customer should expect for a vendor to honor their contract, the work will solve the problem and that they will be responded to in a timely manner. Roof Right fails on all counts. read more

Great company ! I contacted this company for a roof repair in December. They got back to me as soon as possible. I had a person coming to my home to have an estimate done. He told me how much everything would be which was less than other companies I had contacted. So after 2 weeks he had two of the roof repair employees coming to do the repair. It took 2 hours and they did a good job. I would recommend it! read more
