Day of, there is some work to do. I was confirmed that morning of the move to be on location by a specific time. Well as I waited I was informed of logistical issues with the driver. Honestly, when dealing with people that are taking off work to be present during delivery, and the service they are paying for is late, it's such a frustrating situation. Nonetheless, this shifted everything about 40 minutes behind schedule and they still were able to complete the job. The guys were apologetic and I got my furniture. Would i come back for service? Yes. But likely leave more wiggle room for the time.

I appreciate your response, but I need to clarify a few points for accuracy. At no point did I…read morerefuse to pay for services rendered--what I objected to was the lack of professionalism, last-minute changes, and misrepresentation of the job despite providing an inventory in advance.Your team arrived late and attempted to upsell, which created unnecessary stress and forced me to rent a truck myself in order to complete the move. This was not an issue of "budget," but rather of expectations set by your company not being met. Customers should be able to rely on a moving service to honor the scheduled time, come prepared, and communicate honestly. Unfortunately, that did not happen here. What's more telling is that several other reviews describe the same experience I had--so this isn't an isolated issue. Instead of addressing that pattern, your assumption is that I "couldn't afford the move"... interesting. While I understand setbacks can occur, dismissing concerns by blaming the customer is not good business practice. My review reflects my experience so that future customers can make informed decisions.

1-Star Review for M&M; Moving Company I would not recommend M&M; Moving Company based on my…read moreexperience. The owner, Miguel Dominique, was unprofessional, rude, and came across as a fast talker. The movers arrived about an hour and a half late. What should have been a straightforward move from one three-bedroom apartment to another took around 7-8 hours with two movers and a rented U-Haul truck. After I had already paid the agreed-upon price in advance, I was told I owed an additional $500 because the move took longer than expected. I did not feel this was handled fairly or professionally. The most upsetting part was the damage to my property. My 65-inch TV was cracked, and my daughter's two work monitors were also damaged during the move. When I reported the damage, the company denied responsibility, claiming that I must have packed already-broken electronics because they were already boxed. At no point did anyone inspect or test the TV or monitors before moving them, yet they still accused me of giving them damaged items. When I raised my concerns, I was simply told everything was covered by the contract. However, no one sat down with me to explain the contract or point out any terms about TVs, monitors, or liability before the move. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. Overall, I felt pressured to pay more than the agreed price and left with damaged property and no resolution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend M&M; Moving Company. If you choose to use them, I strongly encourage you to carefully review every part of the contract, document the condition of all of your belongings with photos and videos before the move, and be sure you understand all potential charges before signing.

This was definitely a tough move as we moved from a studio to a 4-story row home, however, they charged me about 3x more than what they originally quoted me for without giving me any forewarning. On top of that, they damaged multiple items (flat screen TV which no. longer works, dressers, room divider, lamp, shoe rack, wood floors, walls). I should have known better when they didn't even bring a dolly or straps to move our heavy items. They stopped responding to my text messages once they were paid.
