While nothing about French drains or foundation repair is fun, exciting or cheap; we knew we had to get some of this work done to our home due to some minor flooding/cracks in the foundation. After doing some research and asking for bids, we decided to work with FRS since we knew they would do a thorough job and offer a nice warranty for their work. Not to mention how everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly and they explained lots of things to us in ways that we could understand. When you are going to spend $$$ on something as massive as a french drain and foundation repair, you really want to make sure you have some of the best people to work with and FRS was it for us. Earlier this week, we had Dylan and Sam out at the house so they could work on the side to help us with drainage and repairing the foundation. I really have no idea how this is done, but they managed to do it in just under 3 days and took great care of the yard and our neighbors yard while they were working so they did not make a mess or damage anything. Knowing that these giant house repairs have been completed, I know that our house will be taken care of we won't be experiencing any more damage. I know they will come out again in the future to just check in to make sure everything is still working correctly and I feel secure knowing they will take care of anything thanks to the warranty they offer on their work.

It's still a major repair that needs immediate attention. It's better to do it, sooner than, later. My house has only a partial basement, the majority of it is finished crawl space. I have a laundry room upstairs, so all that is in my basement is the furnace and extensive shelving units for storage. With that being stated, I rarely have any need to go down into my basement. When I did venture down after one of the early spring down pours, I discovered I had an issue. It wasn't major, but I wanted it fixed before it became one. So it was a no-brainer on calling them to do the job. They came and gave me an estimate, explained what they would be doing and told me what I needed to move to make the work area more accessible. We selected Permajack of St. Louis both because we decided that their solution and methods seemed preferable and because their bid was reasonable ... not the lowest but not outlandish. Everything about dealing with them was professional. Calls were returned promptly. Questions answered quickly. The project was completed as promised and on time. The crew was respectful of our home and property and did everything they could to mitigate the noise and inconvenience. They even went so far as to hook up the washer and dryer when they were done, without being asked, after we expressed some concern about being able to use them while the cement cured. When the crew left, the work area was spotless and the whole process had been much less painful than we expected. I would absolutely recommend Permajack of St. Louis.

Things went bad when it came to the execution of the contract. Work was done accordingly with the crew, but an over reach occurred on their end when on the day of the installment the project was modified. This was unbeknownst to me until weeks later I was billed. Reaching out was a lot of hit and misses and advice to only handle this with the consultant. Unfortunately, it wasn't resolved even when said discussion concluded with PJ specialist taking accountability for the misunderstanding. A year passed and now I'm still being asked to pay for work I did not sign to. And threatened that fees may incur. Over 6 Months had passed with no contact and now this recurred. I paid 100% upfront. But hearsay from its team has overruled. And yet here I am -still trying to find equity.
