They are honest and sincere and will help you solve your problems as economically as possible. The crew was friendly and professional. I would not recommend working with any other foundation company in St Louis or Illinois as I found them all to be dishonest, manipulative using fear tactics. Most of them are not the company they claim to be and hide behind a fictitious name withholding the actual company they work under.   I found Atlas Foundation to be transparent.   Mike Willard is the owner and is an experienced professional. His wife helps manage the office and the jobs.  Both were very organized and efficient.  The work was done quickly and professionally.  The warranty is fair and resonable.  Thank you Atlas Foundation for helping me solve my foundation issues at a reasonable price and being pleasant to work with.

Look elsewhere if you want quality work and good customer service.

In June 2025, after an extremely wet spring in St. Louis, water entered through a wall they treated. The sump pit has been bone dry and the pump has never run since installation. As of today, the issue remains unresolved. I will update this review if the company provides a fair resolution.

We wish we'd done more due diligence before paying anything upfront.

While I asked if there was any expected issues that could arise as I am not in a position to pay more I was told that no issues and that this is what they do. The construction crew was nice and friendly and job was done well. The issue came when I received the bill. It was 9200$, 1200$ more. Apparently they had to use more material and no one notified that they would even do that. What I did miss is that they included a small sentence in the contract that I would be charged additional for material. And it was a small amount of 24$ per foot. But it added up to be a whole 1200$ difference. This was deceiving and a trap. Lesson is don't trust people and read all the fine lines in the contract where they could charge you more. Especially if I was there with the workers and never informed me they would add additional material. Or why was even necessary to add it. It is unfortunate that you think you are dealing with honest people but then you get charged extra. We certainly do not recommend this company.

After getting several different bids/estimates from big name waterproofing companies I was told so…read moremany different things that my home needed ranging from $5,000-$90,000!!! I was so stressed over what to do with my home since none of the treatment options were the same. I was told everything from an epoxy sealer to numerous piers. I was recommended to Quakers through another person and found their reviews to be amazing. I called and spoke with the owners wife who is the secretary. She was extremely kind and helpful and got her husband out to inspect my home in a reasonable time frame. The owner (also a local police officer) who is actually the son of the original owner spoke with me and came to my home for the evaluation. He found absolutely nothing wrong with my home that required waterproofing. He said the cracks I was seeing to my walls were due to poor drywall craftsmanship and he wouldn't do a thing to my home other than maybe get a general contractor out to redo the drywall if the cracks bothered me that much. He even walked around and explained each area in detail to me and showed me how the cracks would look if it was being caused by water. He did tell me the only foundation issue I had was related to my driveway and front porch and gave me the name of a company to call to have it looked at since it was not directly attached to my home and in no way affecting my homes foundation. He also gave me the name of a structural engineer to call for a structural evaluation if I had any reason to doubt his findings. He said if the engineer found anything he'd come back and re-evaluate those findings. I actually contacted both people the driveway lifters and the engineer and had our driveway repaired and the engineering report conducted. The driveway was an easy affordable fix and the engineer was also affordable and found nothing wrong with our home that all these other big name waterproofing companies said I needed. The fact that he didn't try and sell me something I didn't need like four other companies tried to do is very NOBLE and HONEST!!! I could've spent a small fortune on my home for no reason at all. Solid family business with core values. Would recommend.

I waited a bit to post this because I wanted to be sure it was fair. I found a Groupon 4 years ago…read morewhen I installed the sump pump and drain tile in the first half of my basement (as a public school teacher with 3 jobs, I could only afford half at that time). +1 star for discount!! The pump quit working; they said a lot of customers had that issue. They installed a new one w/out incident; +1 star for that. This spring, I decided to waterproof the remaining 2 walls. Before I could do that, the tile started leaking & the downspout they installed did too (see video). In sum, in the 4.5 years since this was installed: the pump had to be replaced; the drain tile is malfunctioning and letting in leaks; and the downspout came apart, allowing everything the pump ejects to sink back down into my basement. I emailed the contractor a specific question: when can someone come out to address these problems, regardless of whether or not I hired them to do the rest of the basement? Weeks passed and I got no definite answer. They were immediate in their response for a bid request; but inconsistent in responses to warranty issues. Was I able to go to Lowe's, buy a caulking gun and silicone, watch some Youtube videos, and eventually complete the repair myself? Yes. Should I have had to when my warranty covered the issue? I don't believe so. In the end, I chose to hire another (more expensive) company to do the rest of my waterproofing because I wanted a BBB-accredited company that would communicate reliably & follow through when needed.
