Fred (owner) is a truthful and honorable man. He was always professional. Nearly all of his team is great. They are courteous, competent, and can be counted on. We had a few minor issues along the way and Fred and team solved them. With one glaring exception-shower glass. He used a subcontractor for this and they were awful. They randomly showed up unannounced and then didn't show when scheduled. When they did, they were more interested in saying how good and competent they were. Usually they were surly and talked more about their experience than doing the work. Well, they were here 4 times before they got it right! And the fourth time it took Fred working side by side them to solve the issues. Because of them, I can only give 4 starts. To Fred's credit, he did not tell us the name of the glass firm and he took full responsibility for them. I recommend Kingdom and would use them again. Just insist on a different glass vendor.

I asked for a receipt after writing a check...you guessed it no receipt. The only receipt I saw had to be given to the office when he got back there. I still don't have a receipt. The job took all of 20 minutes which needed a small amount of pad and the carpet to be resstretched and he charged me $260.00. Major rip off! The kitchen is everything and more than we had hoped it to be. The choices and decisions we made along the way were well-directed. From the tile on the backsplash to the upstairs shower, has received glowing reviews from our friends. The cabinets color in the kitchen is the perfect complement for this house. As in any remodel there are bumps along the way--Having been through numerous remodel projects in the past--Joanne and I expect them. When they arise we have learned, the difference is the contractor and how they handle them. You have proven to Joanne and me that there are no problems, just solutions. You live up to your promises, "I treat your home as if it is mine." That you do. We want to thank your crews for their patience and the professional attitudes and outcome of each part of the project. We keep returning to Toscana Remodeling because we know, we can trust that our projects are in good hands. The biggest compliment we can give is to see you on our next project. Thanks, Joanne and Don

Initially they had left a pipe that they installed dripping in the wall. I found it after about 1.5 years and after fighting they did come back to repair it. Unfortunately, their repair is as shoddy as their initial work. I had to have the bottom of the shower completely replaced. In the master bathroom, they used about a third of the backing that they should have to affix the tiles. Grout continually came out and had to be regrouted. When my current contractor pulled the tiles off the walls he found that they were put on in a shoddy way. Instead of a solid sheet of material to attach the tile, it was only attached in random splotches. ( see picture ). I am having to spend over half again as much money to have this terrible job corrected.
