SprayTex came out and made it right. They visited with us and looked at all the issues we wrote about. They hired cleaners to come and clean every dish and to clean up the floors. Update- Spray Tex stood by their word and they are going above and beyond to make this right. They sent someone out to fix all of the caulk and paint issues and it is exponentially better so far. the project manager came by to do another walk through with me. I will be using them again as they stand by their word and their product. Buyer beware! I was told that they would be doing two coats and that it would take two, likely three full days to do my house. After realizing they did less than 10 hours total work, I checked the cameras. They only did one coat. I have no idea if every team operates like that but I absolutely will not pay full price for half the job. I also requested flashing not be painted- it was painted. I requested them caulk the dryer vent and plumbing clean out- it was not done. They were extremely spotty with the nails they did caulk- I easily counted 20 nails not caulked in the sunroom alone. I told my project manager about all of this and it was still not done on "day" 2. I have no doubt that the business will make it right, but this is extremely poor business behavior- charging someone full price and giving them half of the work. If I didn't have the thought to check the cameras, I would have been completely ripped off. One last thing- when I got home? My door was left wide open so wasps and mosquitoes could come right in. read more

They took everything from drab and yellow to fab and modern! The employees were SO professional and helpful, too! A huge thank you to Sam, Edwin, and Carlos for executing a large job seamlessly! I felt comfortable with the staff at Spray Tex from the first call. Felt as if I was talking with a friend or family member when requesting an estimate. During my estimate I was in a meeting and felt so bad but my guy went through the house just fine to get measurements. I ended up selecting Spray Tex to do the job after a few bids. The other companies could not top how they made me feel personally, felt they were honest folks. The PM got the team coordinated and it was smooth sailing. It was a great team, attention to detail was not missed, communication was consistent, always knew what was happening. As a PM it was hard to sometimes to let another person PM a job for me but that was his expertise and mine is in another area. There were quality issues with the interior paint job they did but, after expressing my concerns, Josh (one of the owners) took personal responsibility to ensure my concerns were resolved. He came out to the house several times to assess the work and scheduled a different team to come in and make corrections. Josh followed up afterwards to ensure I was satisfied and came to inspect the work again himself. I am 100% satisfied with the job and glad SprayTex was willing to take ownership and stand by their service!! They made it right!! Previous review spraytex painted the entire interior, cabinets & doors in my home. i did not receive the quality workmanship they advertise and claimed to pursuade me to contract w/ them. after three - plus return trips for touch-ups, i am still seeing issues with the paint and things not done. they pressed me for final payment and are no longer concerned with my satisfaction. this was an expensive job and it looks as though i painted it myself in some places. even after color changes, for which i paid handsomely, that is no excuse for less quality. read more

Great experience with Spray Tex Painting! From our first quote meeting with Sam and Melanie. They walked us through the ins and outs of the process and even offered a great discount for being flexible in scheduling. We felt good about our intro meeting and didn't feel pressured at all. It only took a couple weeks out for the actual project to being and Veronica and Jose, our Painters, did exceptional job! They worked very efficiently and completed painting our 1700 SF home in less than 2 days. They were super professional and used a great quality Benjamin Moore paint. Also, they used two coats for better coverage and durability to last years. Before they finished our project, they walked us through the home and touched up areas that needed it. They truly wanted to make sure we were completely satisfied with their work. On top of that Melanie, did a great job on follow-ups to make sure our project was completely on time and that we were happy with the results. I truly appreciate her follow-up! Horrible experience about a year ago. We moved into a house and wanted to update the wood trim, window frames, and bookshelves by covering them in a white enamel paint. Called Spray-Tex who sent a salesman over. Received an impressive, but ultimately BS, sales pitch by someone completely removed from backing up the promised level of work and a matching end-result ("the paint will be as smooth as this granite counter top..."). total cost ~$5K. In short, Spray-Tex took its cut and then farmed the job out to a low bidder who in turn hired varying day laborers during the course of the job. It was pathetic... No sanding, very little primer, cheap(er) paint than quoted, sloppy work, overspray all over the floors, walls, toilets, clocks, paintings, etc. I could go on and on. Unfortunately, I was ill at the time so I didn't immediately notice a lot of the problems, but a couple days into the project, I started to feel underwhelmed with how things were looking--I truly expected a much better result. It wasn't going as promised or expected, so I began to elevate my concerns. Spray-Tex reps--including the salesman--had a rationalization for every single thing I felt was not in line with the proposal/contract (in addition to the sloppy work): "They really don't need to sand according to the manufacturer" or "the alkyd paint is just as good as the oil-based enamel." I asked for someone from Spay-Tex to come out to see how bad it was, but could get no one to do so. Instead, they sent some of the same painters back a couple of times so I could show them where to repaint and clean up (and by now, THEY were irritated). I was still expressing my frustration to office personnel and was promised a six-month extension to the "warranty" for my trouble. But after all the excuses, downplaying and patronizing, I realized the best response I'd ever get from Spray-Tex's "warranty" was someone begrudgingly coming over to slap more paint over an already crummy job. (The only way for them to actually make it right would be to completely redo the job, which is by my estimation completely out of the question.) I am throughly disappointed and regret ever calling this company. But sadly, I may have to contact them after all because, as expected, the paint is not holding up. In the end, to get things right, I anticipate I'll eventually have to do it myself or pay another contractor with enough skill, pride and integrity to get the painting up to par, especially if I ever decide to sell. Some of the included photos highlight the unconscionable degree of apathy and/or incompetence displayed by the painters; some of it was "painted better" after I complained, but it was simply touched up, not really improved. (Seriously, they even tried to Jedi-Mind-Trick me into believing I was imagining things.) Absolutely one of the worst, most apathetic, con-job companies I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Constant pressure to "pay the balance," even while I was expressing my displeasure. Would never recommend. read more

We got many quotes over several years time before deciding on Spray Tex. It was impossible to pass up after meeting with the super knowledgeable sales guy, and then seeing the total. We thought at first that it could be a typo. (It wasn't) The stylist helped us choose colors, the crew were here on time everyday, the PM came by everyday, they finished on time.....AND they had us mark anything we wanted them to take a final look at & everything looks perfect! They painted our whole interior... crown, molding, doors, trim, walls, ceilings, even sheet rock repair in several areas. We lived in the house all day every day because my husband works from home and I stay with my toddler. They were very thoughtful about when and how they painted from room to room so that we always had somewhere to hang out without being bothered. There is a color consultant for choosing your paint, a project manager to understand what is needed and communicated to the crew, and warranties on the work.
