From the very beginning, the woman who answered the phone and scheduled our initial visit was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. Ben and Arad arrived at our home for the quote and made us feel heard and supported about our needs, budget, and timeline for remodeling our two bathrooms. The end results are absolutely fabulous! What truly set them apart was their superb communication. They sent us nightly text updates, which not only kept us informed every step of the way but also really helped to build our trust. Knowing what was happening each day gave us peace of mind and made the entire process easier. Another thing we really appreciated was how clean and respectful they were in our home. They kept the work areas neat, cleaned up daily, and always made sure to minimize disruption. It's rare to find contractors who are that mindful of their surroundings--and it made a big difference. Samuel was the main contractor on our project, and he was so kind, tidy, and quiet! Ben and Arad are professional, thoughtful, and clearly passionate about what they do. They even met us at Floor & Decor to help us choose the perfect materials, offering expert advice that elevated the entire design. We're incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication. If you're considering a remodeling project, we highly recommend Azores Remodeling. We would absolutely use them again!

I'm sharing our experience with Azores Remodeling so other homeowners can make an informed…read moredecision. We hired them for two bathroom remodels. While the tile work turned out nicely, we had significant concerns about their knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and building-code requirements. Two drains were initially installed using flexible accordion tubing and improper trap configurations. When we raised the issue, the contractor admitted they sometimes improperly install drains, stating that "usually no one cares." They initially proposed an S-trap, which is also not to code. To their credit, they ultimately corrected the plumbing at no additional cost. The framing was another major concern. Azores planned to cut through wall studs for recessed mirrors and niches without properly addressing the structural framing. The contractor admitted they were unfamiliar with the applicable building codes, and we ultimately had to properly frame two of the mirrors ourselves. We also have remaining issues we are addressing ourselves, including a shower handle that came off, a broken outlet that no longer fits properly, drywall damage around another outlet and paint around a fixture they replaced. I just did not expect to have to do this much myself. I'm not sure what value this company actually brought. Communication and oversight were also a concern. Azores was readily available during the first four weeks but became nearly nonexistent during the second four weeks, when many of these issues arose. We were also repeatedly contacted about our low-star review. We found it disappointing that so much attention was given to the review rather than ensuring the work on our home was completed correctly. I also seriously hope they will just leave us alone now. The tile looks nice, but a good finish does not make up for inadequate trade knowledge, planning, and oversight. I recommend that homeowners carefully evaluate Azores' construction expertise before hiring them.

YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. We initially hired them to paint our master bathroom, but with their high quality work, attention to detail, and extremely reasonable prices we kept adding projects from our "wish list" to their scope. Ultimately, not only did they paint the bathroom, but they tiled one of the walls (it looks amazing), painted the upstairs bathroom cabinets, a couple of doors that needed some love, and ultimately, painted most of the exterior of our home. They also threw in the installation of a lot of cabinet hardware (handles and pulls) that we had intended to do ourselves, but due to procrastination (and laziness--let's be honest), hadn't gotten around to doing yet. Lonestar's owners came to our house every day (often multiple times) to check the progress of the work and make sure everything was being done according to our wishes and expectations. I really appreciated their attention to detail and their passion for making sure that everything was done exactly right and that we were happy with the results. If you want a job done well, done right the first time, done on schedule, and done at a very reasonable price, don't hesitate to call LoneStar. They will be my "go to" guys for as long as we live here.

Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks.
