All of the caregivers have been fantastic and helpful. Our family member is entering into hospice care along with the Angels by our sides. The Angels/Caregivers have a love for what they do and it shows in their work. The service your company provides is phenomenal. You have a terrific group of people and they have all made a huge difference in our lives. With gratitude, my family is eternally grateful to Visiting Angels. What a company! What a Blessing! Thank you for your diligence, flexibility, and giving us a little peace of mind along this journey.

From the get go the patient care was alarming. The first RN arrived 30 minutes late. She had not…read moreacquainted herself with the patient. She saw that he is on dialysis and wanted to know about his diabetes. It took several minutes to covnince her that he is not diabetic even though she said anyone on dialysis was diabetic? She then asked to see our Advanced Directive...she then stated that it was not an acceptable legal document even though it had been drawn and signed by our attorned and had been notarized. She finally said that she would accept it even though it was not correct. Most disturbing that when she left she insisted that we were to only call her service and must not call any other doctor...not even the surgeon who had performed the latest procedure, not the nephrologist who see the patient 4 times a week, and not the cardiologist who is charge of the care She was adamant about this. She could not understand why we weighed in Kilograms (because of dialysis) and apparently had never been exposed to this. In in following visit she was alarmed because since her first visit records showed that the patient had gained 12 pounds. She insisted that her records had to be right and that she would not have made that mistake. She never did get the difference between the kilograms and pounds...and again would not accept that her records were wrong even though we could show her from the dialysis center that our weight records were correct and that she was wrong. It was very alarming to see someone who was so poorly trained and how she could make such incorrect statements that could cause such harm to patients. The system also is very disorganized and no one seemed to know when or who or what the next appointment would be. I feel that our assessment is correct in that we have experienced home ,health 3 other times and both very knowledgeable about the condition of the patient, Hopefully you will reassess your practive before you harm someone else.

I was hospitalized for two and a half weeks and I was supposed to receive 10 hours of assisted care per week but during the first few weeks I was home, I had no help whatsoever and I was in really bad shape. I had no strength or energy and I was restricted from lifting more than five pounds or raising my arms to wash my hair, etc. In addition, I still get extremely dizzy and out of breath when I bend over or even try to move too quickly. I have yet to receive the full ten hours of actual work from these so-called caregivers. I have been through three different workers, and only one of them actually worked, but I guess she doesn't like me or something so she quit. She was replaced with someone who was very lazy and a bit invasive for my liking. I am very uncomfortable with people that I don't know being in my house and she was not respectful of my boundaries. This speaks volumes about the quality of care that I have yet to receive. And to be fully informative, I have been stood up at least twice by what I believe to be the management team. No phone call or text messages when I cleared my schedule and waited for them to arrive. However, after the second person quit, there was a sudden and unexpected knock on my door and I felt like I was being interrogated by someone who I presumed to be upper management. I had to call the VA liaison to see if they could help me get a different company because it seems like they weren't going to send me a replacement for the one that I sent away. And I honestly don't know if I want them to anymore. I just don't see any point. --- 12/19/2025 --- This is not the end of this story but it is the end of this review. I'm still trying to figure it all out for now. I don't recommend this company at all. Especially if you or your loved one really needs considerable care. If you are paying for it out of pocket, please do your due diligence and find someone else that will follow through and show up.

I was recently advised that I would have to leave my healthcare practice by March 2027 due to…read morecurrent staffing shortage and how hard it has been over the years to find and hire someone. I saw on Nextdoor a referral to a new healthcare practice called Juniper. It is only for seniors over 65 with medical coverage from Medicare and Medicare Supplimental plans. . They apparently don't take private pay, Medicare Advantage (so few people take that any way) or Medicaid. This set up was perfect with me and they are taking new patients. When you call to enroll it is followed up by a telephone consult that goes into great detail about the practice and it really worked for me. I like the fact that they did this pre-scanning so they didn't have to waste people's time. After that call, I received a prompt appointment and was able to fill out the enrollment form online. As usual with online applications, and often the ones on paper. There just isn't enough room to put down the information you need such as all your doctors, prescriptions and prior medical treatments. So after I I filled out my online application, I took information directly to their office that had all of that stuff so that I didn't have to waste time filling in all the details. I was hoping that they would be able to enter all of that information into their system before my first appointment. It had all been entered! So I just went to my first appointment yesterday with Kelly Morales, a PA (Physician Assistant) who was just wonderful. In addition, I did bring a paper copy of the additional information and again she was able to ask lots of questions directly from that detail. Being obsessive, I also took copies of my latest blood test, bone density test, my last colonoscopy and mammogram results. Again, she was just able to read down all of this information and ask questions. I felt it very important that I had that since I was changing a medical practice which had for 10 years worth of information. She has all of that detail that was relevant to now and the past history. She noted that most people who come in, their answers to doctors, medical procedures, and the prescriptions often end up with answers of " I don't know" which to me is very frightening. It sort of wastes that initial visit time. So we had a very effective first appointment. She was very thorough and I never for one moment did I feel that I was being rushed, which is actually my usual experience with physicians assistance, which is why I like them so much. I know some people are really wary of having a PA as your primary care person, but there is a doctor who is available for the more complicated thing. Please look up what the education requirements are for a PA. You will probably be stunned to find out how extensive their education and hands on experience needs to be before they get licensed. I think that should dissuade anyone from being worried about being treated by them.

So they schedule according to their own needs not the patient's needs or the health of the patient…read more Steve who they say is a supervisor is sadistic and will threaten to cancel all of your loved ones services and will yell at your loved ones. I truly do not know how people are allowed to keep a job acting this way. They schedule at noon at lunch time and do not care that your loved one with a head injury needs to stick to his schedule and can't do activities while hungry. They call you the night before about when you have an appointment which makes scheduling doctor appointments nearly impossible. They have our doc appointments but still try to schedule home visits during or close to those times. They say they are going to be "in your area" so they want to schedule home visit when it is easiest for them. We are supposed to get a certain amount of days per week and if you call to ask why that is not happening they hang up on you and threaten to end your entire case. They say they care about health but that is obviously not the case. They care about their own life and schedule. Trying to be a full time care giver and you can't get something as basic as "who is his case manager?" answered is ridiculous. Are they incompetent or just rude and uncaring or both? Mostly one star reviews saying the same thing. I asked how to make a complaint and they hung up on me. I asked who the supervisor to Steve is and they said "he's it" and refused to tell me. They told me to "call the hospital" but why is it they don't have this info? Every agency has a way to file a formal complaint. But they either are incompetent and truly do not know or are hiding that info. So on top of being a full time 24 hr a day caregiver and being stressed and exhausted and our loved one trying to learn to walk again and missing his PT appointments for the sake of the PT's needs we also get to deal with this abuse from the office when we try to get some info and get his 2 days of PT. If they cancel his home health care... that is called RETALIATION and it is illegal.
