On September first, 2025, I had a major emergency surgery for an aortic rupture that nearly killed…read moreme. I was hospitalized for two and a half weeks and I was supposed to receive 10 hours of assisted care per week but during the first few weeks I was home, I had no help whatsoever and I was in really bad shape. I had no strength or energy and I was restricted from lifting more than five pounds or raising my arms to wash my hair, etc. In addition, I still get extremely dizzy and out of breath when I bend over or even try to move too quickly. I have yet to receive the full ten hours of actual work from these so-called caregivers. I have been through three different workers, and only one of them actually worked, but I guess she doesn't like me or something so she quit. She was replaced with someone who was very lazy and a bit invasive for my liking. I am very uncomfortable with people that I don't know being in my house and she was not respectful of my boundaries. This speaks volumes about the quality of care that I have yet to receive. And to be fully informative, I have been stood up at least twice by what I believe to be the management team. No phone call or text messages when I cleared my schedule and waited for them to arrive. However, after the second person quit, there was a sudden and unexpected knock on my door and I felt like I was being interrogated by someone who I presumed to be upper management. I had to call the VA liaison to see if they could help me get a different company because it seems like they weren't going to send me a replacement for the one that I sent away. And I honestly don't know if I want them to anymore. I just don't see any point. --- 12/19/2025 --- This is not the end of this story but it is the end of this review. I'm still trying to figure it all out for now. I don't recommend this company at all. Especially if you or your loved one really needs considerable care. If you are paying for it out of pocket, please do your due diligence and find someone else that will follow through and show up.
