I was referred to Churn Creek Chiropractic by my primary care physician after waiting over a month…read morefor my first appointment. Before my visit, I received an intake packet by email and was instructed to complete it ahead of time so the check-in process would be quicker. I filled everything out immediately, including marking the areas where I was experiencing pain, exactly as requested. When I arrived for my appointment, I was handed another copy of the same paperwork. After reviewing it, I was told that the areas I marked did not match what my doctor had written in the referral. Rather than asking questions or trying to better understand why there was a difference, I was left feeling as though I had done something wrong. As a new patient who had been waiting weeks for relief, I walked away from that conversation feeling like my appointment might not even happen because of something that could have easily been clarified. When I met with the chiropractor, I was informed that because of my insurance, he could only see me twice a month and that two visits per month would not be enough to make much of a difference. Hearing that at my very first appointment was discouraging and left me feeling as though my care was not worth the effort. The adjustment itself was extremely brief. The office had several adjustment tables lined up, and patients were moved through one after another in rapid succession. From my perspective, the experience felt more like an assembly line than individualized patient care. I never felt like my concerns or condition were truly being evaluated. After my adjustment, I was told I needed X-rays because the chiropractor did not want to continue treating me without them. Rather than ordering the X-rays directly or coordinating that process, I had to return to my primary care physician to request them myself. Even my doctor commented that this was unusual. I completed the X-rays as instructed and then waited to hear back from the office about scheduling my next appointment. I never received a phone call or any follow-up. Because of the overall experience and lack of communication, I asked my doctor to refer me to another chiropractic office. I was able to get in the very same day, and the chiropractor personally called me to discuss my condition before my appointment. That interaction immediately felt more professional, more personal, and centered around me as a patient. This review reflects my personal experience. My hope is that Churn Creek Chiropractic improves its communication and patient experience so people seeking help feel listened to, cared for, and treated like individuals--not like numbers.

When it flares up, it's generally a dull, persistent pain, that occasional sharpens with excessive movement and exercise. Sitting at an office job and trying to continue running only made things worse. After overdoing a run several months ago, the pain intensified to the point where I was limping after sitting and experienced burning and numbness down my leg. Rest, massages, and taking time off from workouts didn't resolve it. A neighbor referred me to Dr. Cosh, and I'm so grateful. I filled out the new patient forms on her website and received a call back within a business day. Her staff is responsive and efficient with scheduling. They were booked out a bit but added me to a cancellation list and I was seen shortly after my initial inquiry. Dr. Cosh was thorough and attentive in her evaluation, she suspected the issue in my hip was likely muscular and provided practical stretches and foam rolling exercises to do at home. She also recommended weekly massage therapy following the chiropractic adjustments. I was scheduled with Jonah for massage, and he is absolutely incredible. With the combination of adjustments, massage therapy, and stretches, my pain was cut in half within the first week. I'm noticing continued progress with each visit and relief in areas I didn't even realize were contributing to my discomfort. I'm incredibly grateful for Dr. Cosh, Jonah, and the rest of the team. Their knowledge and care are truly unmatched.

Unfortunately for Cosh Chiropractic their receptionist Michelle was highly unprofessional and had a very rude demeanor that directly reflected the company's professionalism and culture. We are highly disappointed in our visit to Cosh and will not be returning or referring to others. My Husband and I are both Doctors and we also have a very big close-knit family as well as own multiple successful businesses in the Redding area, which is unfortunate for Cosh because due to Michelle's unprofessionalism, they will be missing out on many referrals to their office. One star was given but definitely not deserved!

Having been to Moore Chiropractic in the past I would become a patient again starting December 30, 2025. After having an xray and MRI it revealed that I definitely have some issues with my lower back. I began my chiropractic therapy. Then introduced to the spinal decompression therapy. When I first started chiropractic care and spinal decompression therapy, I was skeptical and unsure how much it would actually help. My treatment plan was recommended for six months, including regular decompression table sessions for 24 visits. I trusted the chiropractor and staff, even though I was uncertain about both the process and the financial commitment. By my 12th visit, I seriously considered stopping treatment because I wasn't sure I could afford to continue. Looking back now, I am incredibly grateful that I kept going. After completing my 24th visit, I can honestly say my symptoms have improved dramatically. The nerve pain and discomfort have subsided greatly, and the spinal decompression treatments made a significant difference in my recovery and it'll be ongoing. I truly appreciate the care, encouragement, and professionalism of the chiropractor and staff throughout this process. Their guidance helped me stay committed when I was unsure, and I'm thankful I trusted the process.

After a week, it became unbearable, and after a few days of not being able to move it at all, I went to see Dr. Moore. He did the x-rays which gave me great confidence in him as a provider, knowing exactly where the issue was and where to target, made me feel at ease. After one visit i was able to move and was no longer in excruciating pain. I was able to go back to the gym consistently, and while getting chiropractic care, i was able to lose 30 lbs without injuring myself. On top of that, I was able to gain back a percentage of the curvature of my neck, which was a part of the problem! I'm so happy I chose him
