I relocated from the Bay Area to Cottonwood, CA and was frankly anxious at the thought of having to find a new chiropractor. I avoided doing so for months, until my neck started to bother me so much that I found myself avoiding getting out of bed in the morning (not good - I live on a ranch and have a lot of pets and horses to attend to, feed, and care for). I have a history of herniated discs in my neck and I dreaded going to someone I didn't know for an adjustment. Desperate for relief, I searched Yelp for chiropractors in my area with good reviews and Dr Aaron's Yelp page met this criteria, as he had many five star reviews. Still hesitant, I allowed my husband to drive me to my first appointment - my neck hurt so bad by this point I felt unsafe to drive - and I made it to Dr Aaron's office just before he closed for the day. The receptionist Marina was just as nice and welcoming as she had been on the phone when I made the appointment, and Dr Aaron took my chiropractic history and did an initial assessment prior to adjusting me for the first time, which I appreciated, given my history. Once Dr Aaron began adjusting me, I knew he was not only good, but GREAT - a true Master at his craft. The relief I felt was indescribable. I did sign up for his monthly program as the price is extraordinarily reasonable, and allows me to come in as often as I like without worrying about the cost. Best of all, within two weeks my neck was pain free and overall I felt great, to the point where I decided to remodel one of our bathrooms by myself, when just two weeks before I'd had trouble even getting out of bed. As time went on, I thought to mention my TMJ (these adjustments ultimately led to my being able to sleep through the night without waking up due to less teeth grinding); an ear blockage (the ear felt better within hours of the adjustment); a sore hip; an ankle and knee that were aching when I rode my horses (one adjustment cured that instantly) - Dr Aaron has been able to help me with ALL of these issues, sometimes with dramatic, nearly instant results. The massage therapist at Dr Aaron's office, Maranda, is also fantastic, and I get massages every so often as a component to my chiropractic care. In summation, I couldn't recommend Dr Aaron and The Chiropractic Place any more highly - he is the best chiropractor I have ever met, and I am grateful that I am now able to resume my formerly active lifestyle. I've been to many chiropractors for 30+ years looking for the best. I started seeing a chiropractor because I felt dizzy, especially at night and I had occasional severe migraine headaches. That dizziness would wake me up and I would sit up in bed so dizzy that my body rocked side to side and I was nauseous. Occasionally I also experienced severe migraine headaches which would take medicine for. My mom was seeing a chiropractor at that time and recommend I see one. I have to say I was very skeptical but went. The problems I had with the dizziness and migraines went away shortly after my neck was adjusted. It was chiropractic treatments that helped me, but none of my other chiropractors genuinely cared or had time for me like Aaron. In fact I had some that didn't listen to me when I said "that hurts" as they were adjusting me and adjusted me the same way on my next visit. Aaron will listen! He considers your comfort when adjusting you. He will use the activator method of adjusting, which has been more gentle on me due to arthritis in my back. Also his education in anatomy and physiology allows him to help in other ways besides just adjustments too. He genuinely cares and will try to get to the root of what's causing your discomfort or pain. If you have chronic problems due to an injury, your work, and/or lifestyle and you need to see a chiropractor often he has special plans that are very affordable. This place is AMAZING! I have been thru so many DR and been poked /tested on and no one has seem to have any answers of why I have been in so much pain. I mean from ER/OBGYN/CT scans/Ultrasounds/Sonograms/Bloodwork ect. I've always left with no answer. Well today after another glorious (jk) 8hours in the ER with a TODDLER I was recommended to a Chiropractor (FINALLY). I called them up right when I was pulling out of the ER parking lot (On Bluetooth) and a very nice lady picked up the phone and got me in that same day , and it was already late like 4ish? Well we get in there and MAN this place is Super Clean, friendly front desk lady, and they even had toys for my little one to play with . Dr. Seaton saw me right on time 4:55pm when my appointment was. He had asked me EVERYTHING I was going thru and how I was feeling . And he Explained to me how much our spine and nerves play a major role in our whole body& function, which totally made sense . He told me his game plan on how he's gonna tackle my issues , which totally gave me comfort . FiNNALLY someone with an answer and a plan! Today was my first visit and It was amazing . We can't say enough great things about The Chiropractic Place! Dr. Aaron is an amazing chiropractor. My husband Tim has seen many chiropractors over the years and he truly feels that Dr. Aaron is the best by far. I had been suffering with plantar fasciitis for a few years. Had seen foot specialists who injected my foot with cortisone. This worked for a while but the pain came back. The pain came back and I was to the point I needed another injection. When I went to the doctor he was closed. I knew of the chiropractic place who said he could help with not only adjustments but feet as well. After starting the treatment with Aaron, chiropractor at the chiropractic place I saw immediate improvement. This was due to following exactly what he instructed me to do. I have continued to see him for foot adjustments along with full body adjustments and have continued to be pain free and feeling better than I have for a long time. I started going to Aaron a week ago for terrible pelvic and hip pain. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant and I've felt a huge difference. Every adjustment leaves me feeling better and walking/sleeping/ climbing stairs/ getting dressed is much easier. He has also been doing the Webster technique with my round ligaments to make space for my baby to stay head down and gradually move lower in preparation for birth and it's been working! My baby is usually resting in my hip, but at my last ultrasound she was head down and low. I'm so thankful for this place and how affordable they are. I love how welcoming everyone is and that they have a kid area and changing station in the bathroom. It makes it a very family friendly place. The Chiropractic Place is really as good as it gets. The professionally relaxed attitude of Dr. Seaton is comforting and inviting. It is a family friendly atmosphere, and Dr. Seaton is amazing for pregnant women, newborns, and new moms. My wife was pregnant with our second child, who was turned face down. This can cause a hard labor, with a lot of back pain. Dr. Seaton used the Webster technique to help turn the baby around and it worked! He even drove 20 miles to our house, just to adjust my wife and get our baby in the right position. Also, he has adjusted both of our boys when they had trouble nursing. I am a little late writing this review but a couple of months ago i somehow managed to throw my back out, it was horrible and i was in so much pain i couldn't even move if my life depended on it. My mom took me to The Chiropractic Place because she has a account with them for her work and i trust her judgement. They were all so friendly and helpful and the Dr. was very effective yet gentle. He recommend at the time that i continue coming back and even offered to allow me to make payments if i was unable to afford the package deal they offered. Year's ago I use to have hair, the high top fade style to be exact. One of the joys was going to the barbershop every two weeks in order to keep it maintained with that type of hair style. Just like the movie "Coming to America" with Eddie Murphy and Arsenal Hall or the original Barbershop movie with Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer. The guys sat around and talk sports, and enjoyed each others company in a family like atmosphere. To me, that is my relationship with Aaron. We have seen about ten different chiropractors in Redding over the years and found that Dr. Aaron has helped us the most. We've been seeing him for over a year now. We go in twice a week. He has helped my back a lot. Before if I bent down, my back would feel out of whack. Now it's no problem for me to bend down. I have been seeing Dr Seaton for 3 months now. Having crohns disease for 3 years , I was getting a lot of flare ups. No medication was helping and I didn't know what damaged I was doing to my body.
