I knew that I wanted my birth experience to be different from my first. Christine listened to my desires and concerns. She helped me create my birth plan and spent 4 hours with me preparing for my birthing experience and postpartum concerns. She helped us draft a letter to friends and family about our postpartum guidelines with baby. She helped us by creating conversation about expectations and possible fears. Our prenatal visit with her was instrumental in calming our anxieties and feeling more prepared. She also offered multiple referrals to birthing, breastfeeding and postpartum classes. By week 35 we realized we would be having a planned csection. Christine didn't miss a beat and helped us prepare for our csection. She attended our csection and was a great comfort for both my husband and I. While my husband focused on baby she sat with me and held my hand though surgery. She stayed with us through preop and postop as well. However, the most helpful aspects of hiring our doula was postpartum services! Christine has been amazing checking in regularly, accompanying me to the lactation clinic, helping us with grocery shopping, cooking us dinner on the days she is here and just being an overall amazing support person! We are so incredibly happy with our choice to hire her and we would highly recommend her services to anyone who is expecting!

I do see the review from Lily but I have worked in the medical field for over 25 years and the best Doctors are the ones you have to wait a long time because they take the time explain everything and answer all questions and not rush people like they are just a number. You have to have patience and willing to wait knowing you are getting the same long visit as others. Don't listen to the bad reviews because they are just not understanding. Throughout my pregnancy with my son she had THE BEST wisdom and knowledge to offer me whenever I had a question or concern- emotional struggles, diet, breastfeeding, physical concerns, newborn baby questions, insurance confusion, hospital policies and routines, and so much more. She was available anytime I needed (which was a bunch), and she never made me feel rushed. She was so prompt and thorough with her communication. I always felt so cared for and listened to- a big deal when your pregnant and you see tons of medical professionals who all have their own opinions. I had such fear and anxiety at becoming a new mom, but her gentle strength always made me feel safe and hopeful. Having her as my doula built my confidence as the months went by. We had a hospital birth, and she was exactly what I needed in those moments. She knew what we needed when we needed it (like knowing when I was needing water but couldn't communicate, or getting photos and videos of the birth when me and my husband completely spaced about it ). Now I have an absolutely beautiful healthy baby boy. I am loving being a mom, and now feel every choice I made (with Te'sa's help) was the right one. I was afraid to mess up since I was only given a paper of the plan and even though Dr Kang told me the plan were pills, injections and ultrasounds being involved in infertility; I still had other questions. All I got from them is to be accused of something that was not true. Not being able to conceive is very stressful alone and to get a answer like that is horrible. The front desk staff and back were very kind. The front desk offered me an appt to see Dr Kang but then Nikka told me I could not see her since I did not have enough ultrasounds. I payed for everything out of pocket and I was willing to pay just to talk to her and they still refused. I asked the front desk to have Dr Kang call me back and Nikka Carter called and told me Dr Kang is too busy. She even accused me of threatening them which I never did and raised her voice at me over the phone. All I told the girls in the front desk was" I don't understand, we send patients to Dr Kang all the time and hear great things about her." " Why am I being told to go somewhere else?". I was in shock!! I worked in the medical field for over 25 years and never came across people who don't care about their patients. I did ask if an ultrasound was needed since it was hard to do one during the week that did not land on a weekend with an additional fee. That does not mean I am not willing to follow the plan. It was just a question and yet she accused me of not following the plan. I even told Nikka to ask Dr Kang to allow me to do one last ultrasound to use up my last injection I paid for close to $200 that I had on hand; Dr Kang did not care and said NO. I now see Dr Williams Rene and he is amazing!!!!! Calls me all the time to speak to me about my blood work results and ultrasound results. Dr Williams, Rene is a very kind & caring Doctor. Don't go to Dr Kang because she doesn't care about patients and has a horrible manager. Dr Williams will answer all your questions and not care how long it is taking out of his time. Dr Williams has even called me after hours which shows how much he is willing to do for his patients. Go see him at Generations of Women!! You won't regret it. He is AMAZNG!! Goes way and beyond for others. I called his office to tell him I am on peak today and he said, come on in today for the ultrasound. The same day service. Every ultrasound I have had Dr Williams walks in after the tech to speak to me. Don't waist your time with Dr Kang. Go see Dr Williams Rene! He helped me get pregnant. I went back to the portal and noticed Nika deleted the evidence of her conversation.
