I was afraid to mess up since I was only given a paper of the plan and even though Dr Kang told me the plan were pills, injections and ultrasounds being involved in infertility; I still had other questions. All I got from them is to be accused of something that was not true. Not being able to conceive is very stressful alone and to get a answer like that is horrible. The front desk staff and back were very kind. The front desk offered me an appt to see Dr Kang but then Nikka told me I could not see her since I did not have enough ultrasounds. I payed for everything out of pocket and I was willing to pay just to talk to her and they still refused. I asked the front desk to have Dr Kang call me back and Nikka Carter called and told me Dr Kang is too busy. She even accused me of threatening them which I never did and raised her voice at me over the phone. All I told the girls in the front desk was" I don't understand, we send patients to Dr Kang all the time and hear great things about her." " Why am I being told to go somewhere else?". I was in shock!! I worked in the medical field for over 25 years and never came across people who don't care about their patients. I did ask if an ultrasound was needed since it was hard to do one during the week that did not land on a weekend with an additional fee. That does not mean I am not willing to follow the plan. It was just a question and yet she accused me of not following the plan. I even told Nikka to ask Dr Kang to allow me to do one last ultrasound to use up my last injection I paid for close to $200 that I had on hand; Dr Kang did not care and said NO. I now see Dr Williams Rene and he is amazing!!!!! Calls me all the time to speak to me about my blood work results and ultrasound results. Dr Williams, Rene is a very kind & caring Doctor. Don't go to Dr Kang because she doesn't care about patients and has a horrible manager. Dr Williams will answer all your questions and not care how long it is taking out of his time. Dr Williams has even called me after hours which shows how much he is willing to do for his patients. Go see him at Generations of Women!! You won't regret it. He is AMAZNG!! Goes way and beyond for others. I called his office to tell him I am on peak today and he said, come on in today for the ultrasound. The same day service. Every ultrasound I have had Dr Williams walks in after the tech to speak to me. Don't waist your time with Dr Kang. Go see Dr Williams Rene! He helped me get pregnant. Zero stars - At 36 weeks my water had broken. At the hospital, since my doctor was not on that…read morenight, Dr Skipitis introduced himself via the phone, as the physician on duty and explained he would be delivering my twins. The conversation we shared was rather brief so the next part of his message came out rather quickly. He said he would be performing a c-section. I responded that we had wanted to deliver vaginally. He stated that a c-section was necessary. I asked why we couldn't still consider a regular delivery. Instead of explaining or speaking to me as if I was an intelligent person he responded that this was the only way he'd deliver the babies. I said I needed to speak with my husband. He added at the end that if we didn't agree then he'd have to have me removed from the hospital and flown by helicopter to a distant hospital. I was holding the phone, lying in a bed in a hospital, in a hospital gown, contractions pulling at me more strongly, baby heart monitor beeping and I was calmly registering your statement that if I didn't agree to a c-section with him that he would have me removed from the hospital. There was some final statement from him about calling me back in a few minutes to find out our decision. The phone was hung up and I relayed his message to my husband. My husband felt a twinge of fear as he wondered if he really had the power to make such a decision. The idea of his wife being removed from the hospital while in labor with his children was rather terrifying. he staff in the room was listening and hearing what Dr Skipitis had said too. At that point in time the saving grace in this situation was the supportive and caring, truly caring, responses from the medical staff in my room and my husband. I could feel the women in that room circling around me protectively, offering me their strength and support. I was comforted with statements like "You aren't going anywhere," "This is your delivery," and "You have choices." Their statements were true and I knew it. The mere idea that a doctor would threaten a patient in labor with twins that she could be removed from the hospital seemed ridiculous. It felt like a scare tactic to get me to do what he wanted, with no discussion or questioning of his opinion. It made me think of the old cliché "My way or the highway." If I didn't acquiesce immediately to his orders I needed to hit the road. I am an intelligent and reasonable person. I needed a conversation. I didn't need to be ordered around or spoken at. In light of what he had told me the staff made phone calls to other doctors. We awaited another doctor's call or arrival. In the meantime the babies were still being monitored and my contractions were growing more intense and painful. When Dr Skipitis called back I was focused on what was happening with my body and the babies, so my husband took his call. He asked what we had decided. My husband responded that we were waiting to hear from another doctor. He sounded angry on the other end of the phone and asked who was this other doctor that was being called. My husband replied that he didn't need to tell him that. Dr Skipitis again sounded quite angry over the phone and stated that he wouldn't be our doctor and would not be delivering our babies. My husband told him that we thought that had already been decided. Not too long after that phone call from him, Dr. Pena arrived to speak with us. He was kind, gentle and reasonable. The exchange we shared with Dr. Pena is how I felt it should have been from the very beginning. Speak to me reasonably. Don't just toss out orders. Especially when it comes to something so amazingly intense and personal as the birthing of ones' children. Family and friends asked us about the delivery. Some of our contacts were with people in the local medical community. When they heard the story of what had been told to us about being removed from the hospital they asked who it was that said such a thing. We told them. I am insightful and I am willing to consider that anyone can have a bad day or an off night. At one point I wondered if he was having a bad day. I was willing to make an excuse for his treatment of us. I was willing to consider that maybe this was very out of the ordinary for you. Yet, there were several people who heard the story and who either knew him or knew of him, and they gave a knowing smile and a nod of the head. This story did not appear to surprise them. What I do still wonder though is how many patients has he treated and spoken to the way he did me that night. How many women have been scared by the threat of being removed from the hospital by him? Since then I have seen other accounts, some much worse than mine, of his treatment of patients. It is disturbing that he is still practicing.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful and got me an appointment right away. I had my only appointment today. I arrived @ 12:15 as indicated on my appointment card. I spoke with someone who confirmed I had an appointment. She also accepted the form pack I had completed prior to arriving. I sat patiently until I was called. My weight was recorded (down a few). I took the opportunity when the restroom was offered ( NEVER pass it up, lol). Went to the room the medical assistant had indicated. I finally introduced Myself & learned her name. Vitals. Small talk. "Dr. will be a bit, he's not back from lunch." I jokingly reacted "What the French toast?!" or something similar & must've been too believable!! She looked taken aback. I assured her I was kidding & put on the offered "drape"... And I waited. At 1:31 I was ready to don my clothing & get the f&ck out. Exactly at that moment dr. arrived in the room. Inspected the situation. Informed me of the only treatment. That was probably temporary. There was basically no hope. And mine was the WORST case he had ever seen. Gone. To the schedule counter. I had been trying to hide my tears. Made a follow up appointment. He was gone in a flash. Not eye contact. No nothing. Tried to pay; they'll bill me. They stood there & Watched me leave. All of them. I was looking for a tissue. Found one in waiting area. Left that 1970's depressing "decor". Got to my car & got Waited a couple of hours and called the office. Why would I need the birth control when I'm having a hysterectomy? But who's to say, Im not the Dr. The hysterectomy was because of some medical issues by the way but everyone i talked to says getting a hysterectomy was a great choice and most of them wishing they would have done it sooner. My thoughts were; hey I got my boobs done so this should be easy! Boy was i wrong, I woke up from the anesthesia in cruciating pain, they gave me so many different things and nothing would work. I'm the kind of person who doesn't like much attention so I will keep quiet until I can't. Finally they have me something that knocked me out. I went home after a couple hrs and besides having to use a straight cath for wks I felt like I was recovering pretty well. I went back to wk a week later which was probably a little too soon but my job didn't consist of much moving around so I thought I was in the clear. 9 days later I get home from work and hop in the shower I look down to notice my left leg was turning purple, then I noticed it swealing and getting really cold. I ended up going to the ER and they found a PE (pulmonary embolism) a clot in my lung. Made me realize why I was having shortness of breath that evening at work. Long story trying to be short..... Its 3 yrs later and I now have a Stent in my leg and not only that it has had to be cleaned out 3 times so far, the last time being yesterday. I was 39 when this all started, too young to have multiple clots like this. Funny this is, maybe 2 to 3 months later Mooney up and moved to another state. I have close ppl in the medical field and they didn't even know where he moved to. Plus when I mention his name to other Dr's they roll their eyes and say (figures). I just want to reach out to see if something like this happened to anyone else.

I went back to him for the rectal and anal pain. Then he did a very painful test with different scopes opening up very harshly while he yelled so loud every one in the clinic could hear him. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. I had been seeing his pA for many years. With no problems.
