I've read the not-so-pleasant comments about the owner of this consignment shop…read more Today, I observed a person with a consignment -the owner was not very pleasant because the customer didn't have their consignment paperwork. Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. I had low expectations, but was curious, and decided now would finally be the time to check out this store location. I have been to other TTV stores, so I already knew their reputation for selling fair traded crafts and gift items from around the globe. The sale began at 10 am, but I purposefully didn't arrive until late morning to allow the early bird crowd to thin out and hopefully provide a better shopping experience. After I arrived, I first checked out the store's wares and noticed coffee, chocolate bars, instruments, accessories, gift items, etc. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Then on to the tent sale where the single check out line had dwindled nicely, just as I had hoped. The first tent of overstock items had nothing of interest for me. On to the sample tent with samples and I almost thought I would leave empty-handed, until I spied the olive wood Christmas items at 50% off. So, I went home with a nifty, beautiful small manger scene with a music box built in. My wife was thrilled when I showed her. If you're looking for cool, one-of-a-kind items, be sure to make TTV the first stop in your search. I think you'll be glad you did. And be sure to get on their mailing list so you know when the cool stuff arrives. Oh, and you're welcome.

I have bought furniture more than 15 times in last 10 years but to be honest, this is the best customer service you can get from a furniture store. Find Jennifer over there and experience it yourself. My last order was a sofa set costing about $5500. It was custom built and Manufacturer made some small mistakes. I called interiors and they ensured that they will talk with southern motion company on my behalf. Southern motion initially refused us and said its normal variation. Jennifer hired a third party furniture company guy who came to our house, confirmed findings and provided written report to interiors. Interiors fought for us and have southern motion build a new set which will replace the first set. They just dont give up until customer is satisfied. From now onwards, this store is my permanent furniture buying place which i need it very often as i have some business which needs furniture purchase on and off. After about 10 digs, the shovel handle split into two! We couldn't believe what just happened as it flew, and almost hit me in the eye. Unfortunately I didn't keep the receipt because I had paid cash for it, and have NEVER had a shovel break before. The shovel clearly says it has a 15 year warranty...so I emailed True Temper with 3 pictures of the broken shovel. I wanted them to see the code number that was engraved on the shovel. A day later the email was returned as undeliverable. I researched that the owner of True Temper is now Ames. I forwarded the email with the pictures again to Ames. I received a confirmation email, but they asked for a receipt in order to help me. I send them another email stating it was a gift, as stated in my email, and that I threw away the receipt because I paid cash for it. Needless to say they closed the case # claiming a receipt was necessary. Moral of the story.....DON'T buy a True Temper digging shovel! They are not well made and the company DOESN'T stand by their warranty.
