Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. There is excellent eco-friendly sustainable value in consignment shopping but today not an outstanding customer service day at Pass It On Consignment Store.

Communication and scheduling were a constant issue throughout the project. I took off multiple days from work just to find out no one was coming to work on my kitchen. Instead of getting updates proactively, I had to reach out almost every night and morning just to confirm whether someone was actually coming the next day. While I did receive a small discount due to the inconvenience, it did not make up for the time and frustration caused by the poor communication and scheduling problems. I originally asked for a certain type of flooring, but was told they had another company that could provide a different floor instead. While it was not exactly what I wanted, I agreed and moved forward with it. One of the biggest issues for me was finding out that the work was not being completed by actual company employees, but instead everything was subcontracted out by the owner. That was never made clear upfront, and it created a lack of accountability throughout the project. The actual work looked good at first, but I had concerns about a hole in the subfloor. I was told it had been fixed, but all that was done was two small pieces of wood were placed in the hole instead of properly repairing it. You could feel a soft spot every time you walked over that area. I was reassured multiple times that it was "nothing to worry about" and that the floor was covered under warranty. Now, close to a year later, the flooring is coming apart because the issue was never properly repaired in the first place. What has been most frustrating is the lack of response. I have emailed and sent text messages over the last week and have not heard anything back. I expected much better communication, workmanship, and follow-through, especially when it involves warranty work and issues that were pointed out during the installation.

She helped by showing me potential fabrics, leathers, sizes, and placement of furniture, and much more. Laurie is a terrific listener, with an artist's eye and mind. We did not realize this until the frame started buckling in the center, but as soon as we did I called to inform them. It took about a month or more until they finally came out to look at the couch. The man that came was nice and informed me of the problem and that they would fix it; however, I did not hear back from the store. After another month, I called again and the new owner shouted at me and said that this was the first he had heard about it and that the best that he could do would be to send someone with the missing "foot," but he did not want to discuss what was to be done about the warped frame. When I continued to push the issue and question how he would make the situation "right," he shouted more and swore at me, ultimately hanging up on me. I would stay far away from this store and this very unprofessional owner.
