I was overdue to check out what's new at Red Door Consignment. Today is my first visit for 2026. I am never disappointed with my visits to Red Door because I delight in seeing beautiful furniture and treasures finding a new home. I love the curated and beautifully presented pieces shown. You may know the names like Waterford, Thomasville, Jasper, and Pennsylvania House all well made quality pieces. Consignment shops, unlike thrift shops, are more selective about the items they'll take. The end result is better quality merchandise on sale and, at times, slightly higher prices than your typical thrift store because they split the proceeds 50-50 with the original owner. The Red Door Consignment Gallery has an amazing selection of product over its 3 floors, though one floor is geared more towards office furniture. It is a warehouse-like building that can be a lot of walking if you're one who has to explore every nook and cranny. The air circulation is managed with the help of large fans throughout. This was an important detail because, during our most recent visit, Hbg was experiencing one of its hottest days of the year. We were grateful for the fans, and would have appreciated an offer of bottled water too. The staff leave customers alone, but are happy to help or to answer questions if needed. They have a supply of tape measures that shoppers can borrow during their visit. They also provide moving services if needed. All in all we enjoy shopping here periodically, and may even look into having them sell some of our unused furniture. read more

Had the day off work and decided to FINALLY check this place out! Very cool! The prices seem reasonable and the staff was very nice. I didn't buy anything but wanted to get ideas for when we buy a house. I really like secondhand shopping. When adding a new piece to your house or closet it is extra special when it feels like a piece of history. I found a few pieces I would like to add to our house, if they are will available when we busy a house! So happy I stopped in! read more

You can add me to the list of folks that found the people here unhelpful, unfriendly - and just bad vibes. Came here with cash in hand to buy furniture - 800 bucks. We found a set of chairs we liked and asked the lady at the desk about buying the chairs - but not the table it was with, we didn't want the table - it didn't even match the chairs that were with it. I don't think she was even listening to us she just kept saying no over us repeatedly... I honestly question the intelligence of anyone in business not willing to listen or negotiate with someone with money in their hands.. They weren't even willing to listen to us or talk to us - we wanted to buy the set - and just take the chairs. They would have had a free table that they could have then sold.. they would have gotten full price for the set and then been able to resell the table.. This is a furniture store, honestly these types of salespeople usually are legendarily hard sellers and negotiators. We came there expecting to be sold chairs we probably didn't want and i envisioned leaving with a mattress strapped to the roof. What we ended up with was just a lot of standoffish no.. no.. no and - no one even listening to us Another example of my money leaving a business i had intended on spending - leaving angry We felt the prices here were high - as much as for new furniture - what they have is very dated and used. We did like those chairs, they were unique at least Must be nice to be so successful that you can afford to be dismissive and unwavering - Good luck red door you're going to need it read more

Three floors of other peoples used and discarded treasures just waiting for a new home. It can be overwhelming but I like it that way. I will make sure I go back frequently because I am sure they are always getting new inventory. I am very thankful that there are places that I can shop and get nice things for a decent price because Lord knows I cannot afford it new--well I don't want to spend that much as I'm a woman that likes a dang good deal. read more

Nice consignment store with several floors. Plenty of office furniture and chairs (even electronic adjustable height desks!), some couches and outdoor furniture options. Was hoping to find something to fit my needs but didn't, but if their inventory turns over as other reviews mention, I'd return. read more

This store is huge (three large levels) and has a ton of furniture. The prices are very reasonable, but none of the furniture is of great quality. If you are looking for high-end vintage pieces, then this is not the place for you. It does have a lot of decent, average furniture, but nothing special. read more

I would highly recommend Red Door Consignment Gallery to anyone considering selling their furniture. Sam Levine picked up 90% of our household furnishings and sold them quickly. I think the way they do business is the right way. They're very fair and ethical and I think the buyers and sellers receive a great deal. You could get lost in this store and spend HOURS looking at everything. Such a wide variety of furniture and decor that is always changing. Everything is priced well, there is something for everyone no matter your style or budget - and I like that! I walked into Red Door consignment gallery over lunch today and see a man behind the counter talking to a woman employee on the other side of the counter directly in front of me. Normally, this is where the employees say "hi, welcome to the store" or "hi how are you today" or greet you in any way. Instead, the couple glances at me, put there heads down and continue to gossip and talk trash on a 'friend' of theres. Talk about an uncomfortable situation, I was literally just a few feet away from them and they could care less that a customer came in to spend money! To say the least this was just rude and bizarre behavior for any establishment. So I took the initiative and say "hi, how are you guys" and they begrudgingly acknowledge me and say hello and go back to there chat. Apparently they think that when customers enter the store the best tactic for getting a sale is to just ignore them until they are done shopping. I took my time and walked around the store, only saw 1 other person shopping in the hour I was there so they surely weren't busy helping other customers that's for sure. They have a lot of space, nice building overall with three floors of furniture..although most of it belonged at a goodwill or salvation army. The most impressive thing about the store was the variety of nauseating smells and odors that changed every few feet in the store. At one point I gagged because the smell of perfume or cologne was so strong. It was like I walked through a perfume shop for one section then fell into a cats litterbox, then submerged in Old Spice. So I made it around the whole place and was far from impressed. The entire time noone said a word or offered any kind of help or greeting even. On my way out the couple at the front desk were still standing there chatting away and I wondered if they'd have the decency to say anything at all as Ieft or if it was normal for them to just ignore customers completely so I tested it. I walked out looking right at both of them as they glanced at me, looked down again and completely ignored me again without saying a thing! Seriously, it's incredible that a place like this can stay in business. Apparently they don't care enough to even acknowledge a customer so maybe they just have a ton of money and don't need customers to run a business...? Good luck. The owners, Sam, Jess & Irene are great people. They are priced right for things to sell. I've referred a lot of estate folks to Red Door w/great success. Buying or consigning.....this is a great place. Like any consignment, inventory is constantly changing & always worth the visits. There is one sales person a bit stand offish, but I'm there to buy or just check things out so it does not deter me. read more

Some decent inventory, like all consignments shops, you need to dig through the tonnage to find the gems. During one visit, Sam was rude and abrasive to my wife, he has the people skills of 30 grit sandpaper - off putting... was our last visit. read more
