Now I just have to stalk their Facebook page so that I can catch that next big sale that they have. Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. I had low expectations, but was curious, and decided now would finally be the time to check out this store location. I have been to other TTV stores, so I already knew their reputation for selling fair traded crafts and gift items from around the globe. The sale began at 10 am, but I purposefully didn't arrive until late morning to allow the early bird crowd to thin out and hopefully provide a better shopping experience. After I arrived, I first checked out the store's wares and noticed coffee, chocolate bars, instruments, accessories, gift items, etc. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Then on to the tent sale where the single check out line had dwindled nicely, just as I had hoped. The first tent of overstock items had nothing of interest for me. On to the sample tent with samples and I almost thought I would leave empty-handed, until I spied the olive wood Christmas items at 50% off. So, I went home with a nifty, beautiful small manger scene with a music box built in. My wife was thrilled when I showed her. If you're looking for cool, one-of-a-kind items, be sure to make TTV the first stop in your search. I think you'll be glad you did. I have bought furniture more than 15 times in last 10 years but to be honest, this is the best customer service you can get from a furniture store. Find Jennifer over there and experience it yourself. My last order was a sofa set costing about $5500. It was custom built and Manufacturer made some small mistakes. I called interiors and they ensured that they will talk with southern motion company on my behalf. Southern motion initially refused us and said its normal variation. Jennifer hired a third party furniture company guy who came to our house, confirmed findings and provided written report to interiors. Interiors fought for us and have southern motion build a new set which will replace the first set. They just dont give up until customer is satisfied. From now onwards, this store is my permanent furniture buying place which i need it very often as i have some business which needs furniture purchase on and off. The sales people offered us bottled water while giving us the privacy we needed to brainstorm. We ultimately ended up connecting with Jenn, who helped us imagine the best combination of pieces. For maybe 1 1/2 or 2 hours you could tell that she was focused only on us and that she was an expert interior designer. She even offered to come to our house to help us resolve some questions. My concern is that beginning artist are working with poor materials from local hobby type shops and shops that want to sell ONLY their own cheap brand. Interestingly, an employee (owner?) was very chatty and overheard him mention he had some canvas that was shit and he discounted it and will no longer sell it. He had a lot of back story for a customer who wasn't even buying canvas. Maybe he didn't know and wanted to give the person a heads up before they bought crap canvas. Or maybe he thought the customer would know it was crap canvas and he wanted to preempt negative questioning. Anyway, completely recommend this store.
