I appreciate the large aisles that invite perusing and allow access for those in wheelchairs or motorized shopping carts. Now for value: this is where I think they lose a star. There are A LOT of Clearance shelves but when I looked at the prices they seemed regular price to me. $8.99 for a basic tray? Seems high but maybe not. Could be a designer tray. For example, I came in for a Disney spoon rest. The Disney name always carries a higher price tag, but my ceramic spoon rest is only $9.99. It's also ceramic versus plastic or rubber which would be less expensive material. So look at what you're getting for your dollars and shop away. For most things, you're getting value for your money. I read previous reviews before shopping. I did not look at the furniture so this review does not include the furniture.

I've read the not-so-pleasant comments about the owner of this consignment shop…read more Today, I observed a person with a consignment -the owner was not very pleasant because the customer didn't have their consignment paperwork. Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. There is excellent eco-friendly sustainable value in consignment shopping but today not an outstanding customer service day at Pass It On Consignment Store.

I was fortunate to connect immediately over the phone with Interior Designer Laurie Foster, who not only answered my initial questions (delivery to my far-away town? Yes. Do they carry Bassett furniture? Yes.) but also asked me for some detail about what I was looking for. This was on a Friday afternoon, and thanks to a quick email exchange after our phone call, Laurie had prepared to meet me by the time I had arrived at the store the next morning. She has made print-outs of the rug in my living room that I wanted to be in conversation with our new sofa and chairs. She helped by showing me potential fabrics, leathers, sizes, and placement of furniture, and much more. Laurie is a terrific listener, with an artist's eye and mind. She is absolutely a gift to everyone who shops at David's Interiors, and I recommend both her and the store itself to anyone searching for high-quality sofas and chairs. Thanks, Laurie, and thanks, David's, for your beautiful inventory, terrific customer service, professional design help.
