I actually can't shop at any other jeweler! I know that I'm getting heirloom quality pieces from this shop and mass produced items from any of the chains. They don't do huge mark-ups and then gimmicky sales, so I know I'm getting a great deal for the quality as well. They also do repairs, but I've never needed anything from their shop repaired... only the cheaper items others have gotten me from other stores. And although I feel bad asking their jewelers to repair my jewelry from other stores, they are happy to help and do an amazing job every time! I also feel educated each time I go in there, they have a microscope in the showroom so I can look at stones/diamonds and they've taught me how to ID my own stones as well! They can make anything, even if it's just from a description or sketch. Sometimes I go just to see what they've brought in from around the world. They have the coolest rare stones/jewelry in their cases. Alexandrites, Colored Diamonds, South Sea Pearls, Jewelry made from ancient Chinese gambling chips!! They also sell sculptures and minerals if you're into collecting. Pros: Love the unique items and great quality. Responsive, nice and educated staff. Cons: Parking is limited, but you can also park in the alley behind.

This was after them originally telling me in the store that Possibly had a post loose and it would be about $47 then shipping it off and keeping it over 2 weeks. We were very skeptical so went to Leitzel's which is a local establishment with experts on premises. Today I took my watch to Brent Miller in Lancaster they have a sterling reputation. Their watchmaker opened up my watch they said it looks like it never been serviced the inside was dirty and is both gaining and losing time and the gasket which is supposed to be replaced so it remains waterproof was the original gasket that was in the watch and never been replaced. I cannot say enough negative things about Leitzel's Jewelry, they completely screwed me and had me pay a couple of hundred bucks for either shoddy work and lied and didn't do the work. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!

Over the years (28 this August) I lost 3 of the 4 rubies, and the last time I had it in for repair, I have pretty bad arthritis so I had it enlarged with a way to tighten it so it wouldn't come off, but fit over my knuckle. The previous jeweler only attached one side to the ring itself, and it cracked right in the center on the side that faces your palm, I guess is the way to describe it..
