I understand the range in pricing given different vendors price differently, so I'll chalk up some of the more shocking prices to that. My mom shops for Black Americana and did find a few items too. It was clear some were 1800s-early 1900s. Overall many items were there to choose from. Cell service was terrible here but my service was bad in this part of town in general. The staff were great. One person recommended some thrift shops in town for us and chatted with me about a shared interest in thrifting. I would return!

Friendly employees throughout, and if you're with a non-shopper who's biding time while you poke around, he/she can hang out in their lounge. I think some items are over-priced, through no fault of the mall. Vendors set their own rates. Going by the adage 'nothing ventured, nothing gained' it can't hurt to ask for a discount!

I suspected, based on the area, there would be old and unique furnishings. And there is. I've recently downsized but if I was in the market for a hoosier -- there are at least four with flour mills -- or display pieces for my pottery, this would be the place. Prices vary, and logically are set by individual vendors. I saw two 1950s formica tables, both with chairs. One was $175, a very good price (in my estimation.) The other, pictured below, a fair amount more. There are three floors of merchandise. As said, a lot of furniture. What piqued my interest in the basement is a huge piece of stained glass. (Actually, I don't think it's glass, but it's old and looks like glass.) Originally priced at $400, on sale for $200. A person or business with just the right spot will get a deal. Anyway, if you're in the area and you like this kind of stuff, stop by. It can't hurt!

The shop inside is divided by vendor and each has a unique feel, some are more glitzy while others are more industrial looking. There are two floors so don't forget to check up stairs! The prices are very extremely fair and well marked. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area to check and see what's new! The area's are constantly redecorated by the vendors and were just Christmas'd up by alot of them! A few of the vendors create items you can't find anywhere else too so if your looking for unique things then check it out. My favorite homemade item I saw were these pillows that have various area's zip codes stenciled on them with the name of the town, super vintage and cute. Honestly, we found the owners to be extremely nice and accommodating; no issues at all. As an antique mall it's fantastic...with case after case of interesting stuff. The layout sort of draws you from one area to the other, and there's always something really cool right around the corner. Not sure why someone complained that the place is cluttered; we didn't find that to be the case at all. In fact, it sort of feel like you're walking through a small museum. Cases are well lit, most are organized, and we found the prices to be fair. We found several pieces to add to our collections. A major plus is the fact that they're open late on Friday, Saturday and Sundays; all the other antique places in the area closed at 5. Overall, we really loved the place, and look forward to a return trip.

Though I no longer actively collect -- I've downsized since selling my house -- I still look at items that interest me and rarely pass up a deal. Mad Hatter has beautiful pottery. (I've collected Hull and Roseville for 35+ years.) Several booths specialize in kitschy mid-century items which I find fun. I debated about purchasing the snack bowls I photographed, which my mom had in the 1950s. (Decided against it. Nostalgia didn't win out this time.) You can breeze through the mall or spend hours looking. Parking is easy, the staff is helpful and as said, if you're looking to build a collection, Mad Hatter is worth a visit.

She was thrilled. As you wander back into other areas you find more curated collections of items for same, including one magnificent area of mid-century modern furniture where every items wanted to come home with me. I ended up purchasing some adorable pineapple salt and pepper shakers and one of those ubiquitous milk glass nesting chickens. We didn't even make it to the basement area.

We spent at least an hour & at one point wondered if we accidently wandered in to a new store because everything looked brand new. Definitely found value & savings with our purchases. Parking is tight, but there is lots of it. Staff is nice & helpful. There are two floors with an elevator. Go without any idea of what you want & just wander!
