"Remember that the most valuable antiques are dear old friends."―H.Jackson Brown, Jr…read more We visited quite a few antique stores while visiting Lancaster County (a.k.a Amish Country). Not necessarily looking for anything in particular, but more out of curiosity. This was easily our favorite store out of the bunch. They had that typical Antique Mall setup, in which there's thousands of items from dozens of dealers spread across three gigantic floors. But it wasn't so much the quantity here as it was the quality of the goods just seemed a cut-above the other stores we visited. Beyond the goods, the venue itself (a restored tabacco warehouse) is neat and oozing in history. Service from the Amish lady running the cash register was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you're in the area to check them out for a fun few hours of poking around.

While browsing, keep in mind that each section is run by a different vendor; this means you could find the same (or similar items) in a different booth for a different (or lesser) price. Truly, if you are looking for Antiques, don't hold your breathe. The number of true antiques (100+ years old) can be counted on one hand. If you love vintage, they have that covered nicely. This was a great shop at one time, a MUST visit! We used to find many good pieces here at…read morereasonable prices. The owners were engaging, and there was a great selection of many different types of items. It was bought out some years ago (maybe 6-7?) and has been going downhill steadily. Checked it out today. Arrived about 2pm and there was one other customer in there. Walked in and no one even recognized we were there. The entire time we were there the guy behind the counter was looking down at his phone; never said one word. After pretty much speeding through the shop I left, verbalizing to my shopping partner that I'd see him in the car. He said, "I'm ready too;" we've both been in customer service and were baiting him to at least say something. Finally as my shopping companion was leaving, he looked up for a split second; no words were spoken. The selection of goods is now very much on par with several of the other shops in the area (Pine Hill, Heritage, 272, etc.) with a lot of pressed glass, pottery/dishware, 60's-80's kitchen and newer collectibles. Very few oddities, true antiques, mechanicals, more interesting items. I doubt we'll return unless next time we're down here we've already visited every shop possible and they're still open. If you're a dealer here, they're doing nothing to welcome customers, engage with them, offer assistance, or even say "hi!" Look for space elsewhere.

I said the last time we were there they allowed us. She said slrry and went back to talking to the man sitting behind the counter. I told my girlfriend, Sorry let's leave and we did.

I shop all the time in Philly and honestly the cost of such items wasn't terrible in comparison to the city. I understand the range in pricing given different vendors price differently, so I'll chalk up some of the more shocking prices to that. My mom shops for Black Americana and did find a few items too. It was clear some were 1800s-early 1900s. Overall many items were there to choose from. Cell service was terrible here but my service was bad in this part of town in general. The staff were great. One person recommended some thrift shops in town for us and chatted with me about a shared interest in thrifting. I would return!

I have purchased a number of items here over the years, including music CDs, potpourri and seasonal and decorative items.
