The concept behind this place is so cool. Imagine an antique mall, by everything inside is a different flavor of geek. Medieval, scifi, tabletop, retro game, you can find lots of curiosities here. What a delightfully cozy, warm, and fun place to browse. It is a winding collection of stalls with themed items that appealed to my Gen-X nostalgia as well as my love of artful oddities. I spent time with my son going through the books and games, staring at the googly-eyed Gollum sitting high on a shelf staring across the room at a steampunk glider. A creepy puppet hid in a small alcove around a dark corner near the gaming minis. Their War Room is creepy and delightful. I look forward to gaming there or refering it to the local coven for their new moon meetings. A colorful, smiling young person kept watch and helped guide folks looking for their own unique needful thing. In busy downtown, near the farmer's market, it was a welcome distraction with wands, swords, potions, sculpted pipes, candles, weird vibes and more. Definitely worth stopping in. read more

First visit since they expanded! "Bards & Nobles" has books, board games & other items. They added a "tavern" space also that you could rent. It's pretty neat. Every time we come here we find great items. This time I got a hand muffler with a dragon charm (yay!) which is soft and warm. The staff are always great too. I met the owner today. He's awesome. It has to be great for Lion & I to drive one and a half hours to shop there, which we do every 4-6 weeks. It's a fantastic place for fantasy, TTRPG items, Renaissance clothing & items, books, games, art and so much more. Highly recommend. read more

What a surprisingly fun and intriguing shop tucked on the bottom level! They have a huge variety of decor items, clothing, weapons, etc. Even if you're not into trolls, there is certainly something here for you. They have two rooms that are available for rent. One was priced very fairly at $60 for 3.5 hours. The room had a massive table and seemed very spacious to me. The staff were friendly and not hovering at all. There are tons of rows to go down and shelves to check. Definitely stop in for an unexpected adventure! read more

Lancaster Troll Market is kind of hard to describe/define, but I'll do my best. My husband and I were exploring Lancaster, and we happened to walk into the building where the Lancaster Troll Market is located - and I couldn't resist. It's nerd paradise. Into D&D? Renaissance fairs? Board games? Magic cards? Lancaster Troll Market has it all. I don't think I'm their target market (not a strong nerd myself), but I still had a great time wandering around the store. They also rent out some of the spaces in the store, which seemed like such a fun idea for a nerdy party! What a unique store. Definitely check it out - whether you're a nerd or not! read more

Nested away in the middle of a building, this fine gaming store is a hidden treasure. Not only is the staff helpful, the business is stocked full of role playing goodness. This is not your Parker Brothers stop. It IS where you can find AND play role playing games. They gave an affordable gaming room in the back of the store that is well decorated to serve such a task. We got the room for a session and we're delighted with the location, thus I recommend it to all who understand such goodness. read more

Amazing experience - so much to see! Each of the vendors in the space synchronize and blend the experience into a place where we can let our minds wander. Children, adults, and those in between can come here and definitely find something they love.
