Beautiful store! The people are very kind, they have lots of cool antiques, and delicious food! I'd highly recommend stopping by!

I love this store!! It's truly a sigh of how old Columbia is being reborn into a new, thriving town! The owners are a hoot, the selection is interesting and the prices are fair. It's my second favorite store in Columbia. I've gotten some great deals and found some really good items for my 200 year old home. There are two floors, the only setback is the lack of handicapped accessibility to the second floor. But I was told that there are plans to restore the old freight elevator for those reasons and others. Oh, did I mention that it's actually an old washing machine factory, and actually had a speakeasy on the third floor during prohibition??? So antiques; and local history. What could be better???? . Plus- it's heated and air-conditioned, a HUGE plus when you are shopping with elderly parents who regularly tag along with me while visiting. When I walked in for the first time, I was immediately greeted by Connie (owner) at the front desk with a big 'Hiiii welcome to Bootleg!!' With a big smile. They also have a cafe in-store, offering drinks and refreshments. REAL baked goods (not potato chips) and even home-made drinks at times. There is always a discount for veterans and some of their sales (mostly, I was told, leftover items from consignments that were Abandoned) go 100% toward Wounded Warriors (I believe... it was veteran related, I know that much!!). Doesn't matter if it's $2 or $200 dollars.

They had lots of great stuff, when you walk in there and start walking around an employee will give you a number, that's just how they keep track of what items are yours when you walk up to the register

The market is in an old brick building with plentiful parking. As many have noted-it is massive. There is just so much to see on all the three floors-there really is something for everyone here. Glasses, plates, toys, Christmas decor, old electronics, telephones, and so, so much more. We had a wonderful time exploring, and I picked up a few things I had long been wanting. I'm not an expert in antique pricing, but it all seemed reasonable to me. I definitely plan to visit again when in Pennsylvania. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon, and afterwards we all remarked on what a great time we had there.

Seriously, just wow. Something for everyone! They have packed glass cases with unusual items to the norm (most upstairs), plus items on shelves & in booths. Soooo many unusual tins and cool antique carnival/game items found at our most recent visit. All price ranges, too. The people that work there are great... helpful & sweet. We were looking for a specific item and the gentleman took it upon himself to search their stock for something that might work. He walked up to the attic and brought it down to show us. It didn't quite work for us, but close!! What a nice guy. We will be back. We had just spent a small fortune elsewhere, or else would have bought more here. Great place and a must visit. Can't wait to go back!

Holiday or not, leave word on your website or on the google site where you list your hours and let people know. As a shop owner you should take some responsibility in relaying that info to your customers. Not too much to ask to leave accurate hours to your shop. This is the second shop that was randomly closed with no regard to their customers. Go to burning bridge or tollbooth antiques.. at least they were open on a Wednesday and their hours were reflected accurately on their site! Why these people can't get it together is pure laziness and bad business.

What we found wasn't just one vendor, but a collection of various vendors all specializing in any and everything you could ever want! Vintage toys, anime and Japanese collectables and candy, video games, VHS and laserdisc, vintage décor ranging from Halloween to Christmas and beyond, clothing, Japanese Gundam and model kits. If something was missing a price or you weren't sure it was for sale, the guys up front will be more than happy to contact the owner of the stall and get you a price. We had the pleasure of meeting some of the owners/employees, all really cool guys passionate about local business and vintage goods. Its a little confusing as how it all works for a newbie, but basically you walk in, pick up a basket, and just peruse the site, which is a historic theater! What better setting for this place! Pick up what you want and head back to the front and they will ring you out there and answer any questions you have. The guys were knowledgeable about everything they had and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Prices were pretty reasonable based on the market now. Best advice I can give is don't come looking for anything in particular. Just peruse and enjoy the treasures you might find! Also BRING QUARTERS FOR THE PARKING METERS! I cant stress that enough. We talked to several shop owners and saw meter readers ticketing cars who were minutes within their spot expiring.
