Inside a massive brick building in downtown Columbia, PA, three floors are filled with tons of treasures from records to clothes to toys. You can easily spend hours browsing each floor. The market is in an old brick building with plentiful parking. As many have noted-it is massive. There is just so much to see on all the three floors-there really is something for everyone here. Glasses, plates, toys, Christmas decor, old electronics, telephones, and so, so much more. We had a wonderful time exploring, and I picked up a few things I had long been wanting. I'm not an expert in antique pricing, but it all seemed reasonable to me. I definitely plan to visit again when in Pennsylvania. It was a fabulous way to spend an afternoon, and afterwards we all remarked on what a great time we had there.

Lots of lamps to choose from - 70's hanging stained glass lamps, something a bit more modern. I can seriously see myself decorating my new home, with goodies from Toolbooth. I'm unsure if it was a holiday thing, but someone was actually playing holiday music on their piano, as my husband and I were strolling through the different, beautifully displayed booths.

Upon entering, you're in a huge warehouse space with larger items and some tight rows of assorted insanity. My friend purchased a 3-foot tall nutcracker figurine from this area for $29. She was thrilled. As you wander back into other areas you find more curated collections of items for same, including one magnificent area of mid-century modern furniture where every items wanted to come home with me. I ended up purchasing some adorable pineapple salt and pepper shakers and one of those ubiquitous milk glass nesting chickens. We didn't even make it to the basement area.

We were looking for a specific item and the gentleman took it upon himself to search their stock for something that might work. He walked up to the attic and brought it down to show us. Holiday or not, leave word on your website or on the google site where you list your hours and let people know. As a shop owner you should take some responsibility in relaying that info to your customers. Not too much to ask to leave accurate hours to your shop. This is the second shop that was randomly closed with no regard to their customers. Go to burning bridge or tollbooth antiques.. at least they were open on a Wednesday and their hours were reflected accurately on their site! Why these people can't get it together is pure laziness and bad business.

Because she had apparently but a deposit down on something there and she asked for her money back because she changed her mind and they refused to give it to her. I'm appalled. If you are in columbia antique shopping, there a plenty of wonderful shops that treat their customers with respect. I think it's safe to say that I myself will never return to this place again.
