Great place with a good variety. Like most of the shops in the area, pricing is hit or miss.

This was a great shop at one time, a MUST visit! We used to find many good pieces here at…read morereasonable prices. The owners were engaging, and there was a great selection of many different types of items. It was bought out some years ago (maybe 6-7?) and has been going downhill steadily. Checked it out today. Arrived about 2pm and there was one other customer in there. Walked in and no one even recognized we were there. The entire time we were there the guy behind the counter was looking down at his phone; never said one word. After pretty much speeding through the shop I left, verbalizing to my shopping partner that I'd see him in the car. He said, "I'm ready too;" we've both been in customer service and were baiting him to at least say something. Finally as my shopping companion was leaving, he looked up for a split second; no words were spoken. The selection of goods is now very much on par with several of the other shops in the area (Pine Hill, Heritage, 272, etc.) with a lot of pressed glass, pottery/dishware, 60's-80's kitchen and newer collectibles. Very few oddities, true antiques, mechanicals, more interesting items. I doubt we'll return unless next time we're down here we've already visited every shop possible and they're still open. If you're a dealer here, they're doing nothing to welcome customers, engage with them, offer assistance, or even say "hi!" Look for space elsewhere.

I went back to where the restrooms were located and noticed there were signs on the door. I asked the worker if I could use the restroom she said no, we're not allowed to let anyone use them. I said the last time we were there they allowed us. She said slrry and went back to talking to the man sitting behind the counter. I told my girlfriend, Sorry let's leave and we did.

Fun, antique store with three levels and organized very well…read more I made my first official purchase at this antique store after visiting a combined ten stores consisting of thrift stores and antique stores over the past few months. I found a hand signed and framed map of Egypt entitled "Treasures of the Nile". Shockingly it was only $5 bucks too, score! My girlfriend and I spent a total of two hours here and we both left with some purchases. They also had a pamphlet on the main counter by the register showing where over fifty antique stores are located in the Tri-State area. If you are in the area and have the time, I suggest you check this place out. As always people SYOY!!

That said, there are plenty of over-priced goods at Renninger's, but there are bargains to be had, a good mix of antiques, pretty things, collectibles (not my bag), and overall a good time to be had if you remember that this is a flea market, though indoors. Yes, some booths are not open but out of probably 150 or so it was maybe 10-12 booths; people have lives over-and-above their booths. As far as it being a social event for dealers, have you ever done a multi-dealer flea market or antique show? Is it annoying to have to search for a dealer? Yes. Ask nearby dealers; they know each other and help out! We had to search for at least 3 different dealers for booths today. One was very nice but the item I was looking at was mismarked. One was nice, and willing to work with us on price due to condition. The third was also very nice and worked with us to test an item and make a deal on multiple items. Really, what more can you ask for other than legit steals (don't think we haven't found a few of those there as well!)?

I felt aweful for the shop owners. Things seemed a bit pricier than other markets, but I would assume the rents are high. The place is extremely clean and very pretty and picturesque. The village itself features homes with living areas on the upper floors with shops (or extra living/office space) on the ground floor. Perfect for those entering a new chapter in their lives. Offering not just a home but business opportunity as well Most of the shop buildings were vacant which was disappointing - to further complicate things there are residences onsite so it's hard to tell the shops from the homes. When in doubt - stay out is how I explored What we did get to see: Plumb Pudding - you're going to need your head on a swivel here as there is A-LOT to take in. She has 2 shops in the village and each is packed to the brim with eclectic items and unique treasures. A Lego shop with an amazing display of fully put together sets and a running train! The most charming shop keeper, a young at heart gentleman who took the time to talk to us and educate us on the Lego trains. Outta my Gourds artist was so lovely explaining the process and her creations. Fire Kissed featured beautiful handmade copper jewelry as well as silver and healing stone pieces. We finished our adventure at the Village Haus for a filling (and reasonable) lunch. Most eateries in these artisan villages are pricey, but not here. The food was hot, tasty, and dare I say cheap! Drinks, apps, soups, sandwiches and tip under 50 bucks, we could not believe it. 5 stars for the shop keepers but only 3 for the venue as it needs time to grow and expand. Charming and quaint and perfect for the fall day we found it. Stoudtburg Village is a surprise diversion from the antique row and definitely worth popping in. The shops, small but the heart is big here and the talents are worth seeing. We will be back next fall when out leaf peeping and antiquing to see how they grow.
