And not out of particle board like at most furniture shops! This stuff is the real deal. The kind of stuff you'd hand down to your kids. We got a really cool tour of the place by the owner, Tom and he was really friendly. No pressure either, which I love. Plus, everything is like custom made- I mean, you don't have to worry about your neighbor having the same stuff. It really is quality and timeless! Yeah, good word -timeless. So, if you're in the market for something really nice for your home or even office- I would definetly check them out before buying anywhere else first. Honest. They also sell small accessories and stuff if your budget is tight, but once you go, you'll want to come back and buy something. Tables, chairs, sideboards, beds - all sorts of hand-crafted- not gaudy at all!! All with solid wood. No plastic crap. Plus, like I said, everything is made by them!! Right there- in America! :) So, all this talk about buying american, well here's your chance. All those chain stores stuff is probably made in China. (not against china, but come on people... buy american) So, check them out before laying out some bucks for furniture for your home. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, so keep that in mind.

The Olde Mill House Shoppes is two different buildings - the old stone house and an old barn - that have a wide selection of stuff that women love to shop like rugs, furniture, lighting, home decor, kitchen gadgets, pantry items, women's clothing and accessories. They also have a floral department that I think makes wreaths. My favorite part of the shoppes was the old stone house. Aside from admiring the lovely architecture I enjoyed looked at kitchen gadgets, kitchen decor, pantry items like bread mixes and such. I loved the creek of the floors too. It was a very charming experience. A lot of the furniture was definitely in the Shaker and colonial styles. The lighting section was amazing. Lots of early American inspired design lighting. I wasn't in the market for lighting so I moved on to other things. The rug section was fun to peruse. I saw they sold one of my favorite brands - Dash and Albert. They also had a lot of braided rugs. Regarding the clothing section in the refurbished barn, it wasn't really my style but it seemed like there were some regular customer in there having an absolute ball shopping for some new outfits. It kind of reminded me of the fun, comfy and colorful styles you might find at Chico's. Aside from the above, there was plenty more to look at like some linens, wall art, candles, etc. Overall, this was a fun place to explore and a great place to stop in while in Lancaster County.

Your Inner Light was highly recommended to us by another reader in the area, and after our first visit, we completely understand why. The shop is incredibly warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The owner Britta is a compassionate and warm soul who genuinely cares about each and every person that walks into her shop. My husband and I were floored at how reasonably priced all of the merchandise was. I make a point to go into any and every metaphysical new age shop I happen across, and I have never seen prices so affordable, not even at Expos. We loved our visit so much we came back again a couple of days later for a reading and we were absolutely blown away. I am an intuitive reader myself and let me say, this was by far one of the best readings I myself have ever had. Before she even pulled cards she was already telling myself and my husband very specific and important details she could not have possibly guessed at without us even saying a word. We walked out feeling more empowered and confident in what we came to ask. She was just absolutely phenomenal, and the next time we are in the area we absolutely hope to read with her again. Regardless of what brings you in, whether its crystals, readings, merchandise, or just looking for good energy after a tough day, if you are in the area you absolutely must check this place out. You won't regret it!
