Their window display was super charming and it drew me. Inside I found lots of goodies like accessories, stationary, jewelry, candles, home decor and such all nicely displayed. The store had a bit of a warm, natural feel to it and perhaps that is because of the plants. The items that caught my eye the most were some sturdy barrettes, a pair of lovely hoop earrings and a "crazy plant lady" sticker. Lititiz has a lot of great specialty shops but I think this is my favorite!

Typically Irish cheddar is nice & sharp, so maybe not enough cheese or American cheddar? Bought a pork pie, which was small. Had it the next day & the most dry pork pie I've had in my life (I'm 52 & grew up eating pork pies!). The meat jelly was almost non-existent, so no moisture in the pie. I threw it out after a couple of bites, it was too dry to eat. Workers in the cafe were nice. American though & not familiar with the food. Young girl didn't know the size of the pies when I was ordering, man told me the pasties (pronouncing it 'paste-ies' lol. Not using them for that!). Store worker was gruff when asking questions. Then when checking out said her arm & back were bothering her. Started into detail keeping us talking for about 15 minutes. Really didn't need to hear all her medical issues or how she was working there but wasn't happy! We won't be back. Shame as a nice idea.

Upon entry it is a skylit setting of a large number of jewelry display counters. Staff are amazingly attentive and knowledgeable. They offer something to drink and ask whatever they can do to make you feel comfortable enough to spend big bucks on beautiful jewels, watches and other elegant fittings. This is a beautiful store with beautiful expensive things. They are full service providing everything from jewelry cleaning, repair, replacement, sizing, whatever is needed to keep your jewels looking their finest. This is not free. These are high end professional jewelers who know what they are doing. Replacing a watch battery is $15. Making a ring a size bigger, about $125. Replacing a tiny stone and resizing, reinforcing prongs, about $225. If you love estate pieces as I do, there are 3 cases. A gold filigree type emerald ring surrounded by peridots was $1500. A large opal in a gold setting, $1600. A 1960s pink opal, $600. I have to say that skilled jewelers are harder to come by. To stock watch batteries when people don't even wear watches anymore, except us old folks, is no longer a Walmart counter service. If I was in the market for high end jewelry and wanted the lifelong service for my investment, I would be very secure doing business here. This is not a mall jewelry store with bright lights making every diamond seem to call your name. This is a first class, no kidding high end place where you get what you pay for. I took a few photos but was worried about appearing to be casing the joint, so no actual offerings photographed. You will just have to go and see for yourself!
