Second: I asked for the sticker price tag that was on the crystal vase, she said she already threw it away. I just wanted to write about additional discount on the crystal vase because of the length of time in the consignment. The longer items are at the shop they get discounted before being returned to the customer if not sold Third: I purchased a crystal vase, but the owner put it in a plastic bag. Fourth: I handed the owner my card to pay, and when she gave it back to me, she laid it on the counter instead of putting my card in my hand. There is excellent eco-friendly sustainable value in consignment shopping but today not an outstanding customer service day at Pass It On Consignment Store.

I have shopped there many times over a period of years. The owner consistently treats me in a way that suggests my business is not valued or needed. It's like there is a mold or mildew problem and they are attempting to cover it up with an unflattering incense. I had to leave, I was feeling queasy. When my daughter came outside, she said she smelled it too and she was trying to ignore it, but we both felt sick to our stomachs. The ambiance of the store is also not the same. I just did not enjoy being there.

Over the years (28 this August) I lost 3 of the 4 rubies, and the last time I had it in for repair, I have pretty bad arthritis so I had it enlarged with a way to tighten it so it wouldn't come off, but fit over my knuckle. The previous jeweler only attached one side to the ring itself, and it cracked right in the center on the side that faces your palm, I guess is the way to describe it.. I do have before and after, but not of the crack. HIGHLY recommend! So happy with my ring!

A FAR cry from most Jewelers I've visited in the northeast (who are either cookie cutter chains or too pretentious for their worth). The lovely woman who helped me yesterday was (is) so sweet, conversational, patient, and helpful - never imposing or pushy. It was kind of like when you meet someone in a salon and start talking while you're getting pedicures. I'm pretty picky and I have very slim fingers. I must have tried on 20(+?) rings before finding a lovely, delicate diamond/pink sapphire band, perfect for what I was looking for. I return to PA every few years and plan to include Henderson's as a regular stop from this point forward. Their sign says "Jewelers," but they seem more like very nice people who happen to sell and repair treasures.
