Tools cheaper quality than Harbor freight. A bunch of junk that shouldn't be in a "Hardware" store.

While in the store Sat 9/7/24, 1 extremely rude "Karen" employee working in the fabric dept, decided to try and make me feel like I was a worthless customer. I found an outdoor flag for 3.99 in back of the store, as I headed to pay I spotted another 3.99 flag I liked better then swapped them out. She said "look at her putting a more expensive flag where it doesn't belong. " She then tore it off the hook and stormed off. Really? Get to know your inventory and don't have a job where you can't relate to the customer. My husband said I should've just thrown the flag down and said is that better? read more

T-shirts at bargain basement prices--plain for you to design as you wish. Need zip ties in different colors for banding/identification of your poultry? They have it, and ultraviolet ones for zip tying metal enclosures (necessary on the farmstead). Welding rods? Yep. Fabric, outdoor rugs, household goods, bedding, crafts. Envelopes and paper for annual holiday letters. Silk and other artificial flowers and greens, along with holiday decor. Oh yes! Prices are very good. Plan to spend time exploring. Oh, and when you get to the cash register, expect to look some more at all kinds of items on shelves around the register corral. read more

I have been to this place three times, as I work on cell towers and I am near there on occasion. You never know what you will find there, although they have some constant items, like automotive exhaust parts, paints, automotive lighting...and a side for crafts and notions, too. Prices are excellent, and the staff is very helpful. I told a riding buddy about it, and we rode up from down near Baltimore to check it out. Said buddy was impressed. read more

A store for the man and woman of the household. And the way they have it worked out screams segregation. Walking into the store everything off to your left is fabrics and crafts stuff. Off to the right, tools, and manly things. Nuts, bolts, screws, nails, duct working, sheet metal, tools of various types, I can't even begin to tell you everything they have. All you need to know really is that you can drop the wife off on one side of the building and then spend your man time holding a drill, not your own. Decent prices on everything and the staff was friendly and helpful with whatever I was looking for. read more

Interesting store with good, though somewhat random selection at decent prices. Hardware is in bins and priced on the bins. Today when I got to the register they said the price went up, and the price on the bin was wrong- the hardware guy didn't say this, only at the register. This is the second time this has happened to me. No biggie, if they verify the price and give it to you at that, then change the sign, but that is not what they do. They say they have to charge the higher price, and blame some ex employee for not changing the sign. Today she told me- see, the sign looks old, pointing at the sign. It looked the same as the other signs there. I asked for a manager, she said she was a manager and refused to sell for price on shelf. I loudly told as many customers as could hear that they were not selling things for the prices marked, at which point the manager called another manager, and after another trip to inspect the bin did give them to me at the marked price. As a customer, it is not my problem if the store does not change its price tags on the floor- I expect to pay what an item is tagged, not what the register claims it is. Other than that, would recommend this place. read more

This should be your stop BEFORE going to a hardware store. Their prices are unbelievable and they have a wide variety of products. Don't go looking for furniture, lumber, drywall or any of that kind of stuff. Hardware, paint and many many other smaller shelf items. Bolts, nuts, washers of every kind. read more

I was at this store today and I don't know if I will go back again, mainly because of the owner of the store. First of all the people that work there are wonderful. Very helpful, kind and courteous. However, as I was getting checked out the owner came over and was very rude and nasty to the cashier, which was totally uncalled for. I know it was the owner because when he walked away I asked if he was the manager and she told me no the owner. No one should treat their employees this way, I don't know if he was just having a bad day or what but you don't treat people that way. I noticed there was a help wanted notice on the door and I can understand why if that is the way he treats his employees. Then before I left I heard him yelling at another employee. Uncalled for behavior from anyone in a place of business. read more
