Well, I was wrong, but that's alright. Still a spacious store with the ordinary tools that make you think twice after you spent triple the money at Home Depot for nearly the same product. No, the stuff you buy here doesn't last forever (and isn't made with the most 'high quality' materials), but for my uses, it normally gets the job done and more. Tools are one thing that I just hate to spend a lot of money on, and with HFT I don't need to. Plus, with those "free gift" coupons, it's always a joy to stop in any HFT when I'm around. This particular one was clean and had friendly employees and plenty of them. It was very well stocked and well organized. Parking outside was sort of tight, but there isn't any other space for them to add parking since their building is so close to the main road. I would suggest for them to considering opening another HFT on the other side of Harrisburg, driving from the opposite end is around 20 minutes. Good thing I was checking out this area anyway! I'm local to the area and use Tone Tailor often but not as much as I wish I could. There have been…read moremixed reviews on the personnel at the store but my experience has been they have always been friendly, and helpful. This is the chance that if you come in at off hours they are working on equipment and maybe focused on that. They are a smaller operations so the owner wears a number of hats. The hardware at the store has been commented on and for a smaller shop I think they have a great selection. On aspect not commented on was the lessons. The instructors they have on board know what they are doing and can work with everyone from the beginner thru advanced students. These aren't guys who yesterday were giving lessons out of the back of their Mom's apartment but rather are mainly gigging musicians who are augmenting their income via lessons. Most have formal educations in their trade. Final comment is on their repair services. They have in store ability to repair most equipment - none of this drop off you gear only to later find out it was shipped out somewhere to be worked on. You can get real time feedback on where it is at in the repair process. Only slight draw back is they are in demand so they may not be able to turn it around over night. Tone Tailors is the kind of store you'll want to go back to. It's interesting to see the musicians who just hang out there discussing the local music scene.
