Dinner came and went with no delivery. The next morning, we were hopeful the cherry picker would be delivered the following day. Unfortunately, it never came and we had to follow up. The salesman came and was polite, however, we were required to listen to a two hour presentation even though we told him several times to just give us the bottom line. My husband said he felt like he was being presured by a used car salesman. I was undecided about getting shower doors, although my husband wanted them. The salesman advised against us getting them and quoted us a price of around $2K more for them. We eventually went without them in part due to his downplaying the need versus the cost. The end project was $12k with no shower doors. Immediately after the install we decided we did in fact want the doors. I called back and was finally advised the cheapest version of glass doors would cost us at least $4k. I will definately be looking for another installer for our other bathrooms.

I feel like 1 star is fair even though the marble countertops we got are beautiful, we had too many…read moreinstallation problems. The first one they fixed-it's not perfect, but I can live with it. (See pic). The second mistake was when they came back to install the backsplash. We paid $250 for a template so we could choose how it would look depending on how the marble was cut. When the installers came for the backsplash, they put the pieces in the wrong place, and had to make cuts in them. I told them they had it in wrong, but they wouldn't believe me. The seam was right in the most noticeable spot, when I was told, and the template showed, it was to be elsewhere. The installer told me to "just put something on front of it". Really? That's not the point, and maybe I don't want to. After REPEATED calls to the company, it's been over two months and I haven't heard back that they will make this right. They also overcharged me, and it took awhile, but they did give us our money for that. Believe the bad reviews and look for a different company.

Update, counter tops are amazing, there was a bit if communication error between us and the vendor, but no one in particular to blame. They actually came ahead of schedule and did some amazing work! I would highly recommend these guys for affordable AND high end marble and granite countertops. They also offer cabinets and we found that out after we had already purchased cabinets elsewhere. Give these guys a chance!

After two months of searching countertop companies, I discovered "Next Day Marble and Granite" (…read moreNDMG) on 17th Street in downtown Harrisburg.I found the wearhouse easily, just a few blocks off the ramp from 83S. The fenced-in warehouse had a lovely showcase area and offices. I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable professionals. Their selection of stone in their warehouse is beautiful and large. The pricing is competitive. The salesmen were knowledgeable in construction, so that was a big plus. I found this business on a Wednesday. On Friday we signed a contract and, then, by the next business day, Monday, we had countertops in our home; they also disposed of the old. Every aspect, including plumbing, was managed. NDMG is worth the trip to Harrisburg.
