On my first trip I was inquiring about whether they had more closet bracket holder than they had on their shelf. An older guy was helping me, and we started to walk towards what I was talking about, when he looked at someone else in the aisle over and asked them if they needed help. They proceeded to send him on a 15+ minute ordeal finding who knows what. Despite the fact that the guy was helping me first, he somehow just stopped and helped them. I left the store, and I don't think he even noticed. I went somewhere else, where they had what I needed in stock... But I needed to get wooden closet rod, so back to Aviston I went. The older guy had already looked up in the computer that they had it and it was sold by the foot. So on I went to the service desk to have them pull it. They only had one 18' length, and they told me I had to buy the whole thing. I didn't mind that, but then they told me that if I wanted it to be cut down the length I actually needed, it would be $5 "setup fee" on the saw and $1/ cut. $6 to cut a piece of 1" closet rod for something that's priced by the foot? No thanks, I just took the whole thing and let it hang 10' out my window. It took about 20 seconds to cut with an old jigsaw. I can understand not wanting to cut wood, but if you're a lumber yard and can't cater to simple requests without charging an arm and a leg, it's no wonder people in Highland go to the big box stores all around. I've had no issue getting Home Depot to cut various things for free. The service desk has a sign on it that reads "Buddy is old and gay" -- in plain customer site. It looks like a 4 year old wrote it, but I'm guessing it was a co-worker. I don't know who Buddy is, but I doubt he thinks the homophobic jokes are much funnier than I do. While I was at the service desk, I got out my credit card, at which point she said we had to go to the front register. I asked if I should bring the wood with, or if we'd need to go back to the service desk. She said she didn't care what I did. Literally in that tone. Rude rude rude. I used to go here 3x a week as a kid, and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have shopped here so much if the employees were this rude and unhelpful back then. It's amazing this place manages to stay in business.

They have many units to choose from, the salesperson were friendly and not pushy. They did explain the new HE (high efficiency) models. No agitator...hmm good thing I don't work in the coal mine and my clothes need to be beat on a rock to get clean. They check out process was handled very quickly. My delivery was on a Monday, I got a phone call reminding me of the delivery on Sunday and they even called me 30 minutes before arrival. The guys wiped their feet and did not waste time getting things going.

We searched high and low for the shade through SW. No luck. Salespersons were very helpful. Store is spacious and allows for social distancing. We bought a few samples to test first. Decided on a color the hubby loved. None of them floated my boat. Made our purchase during a big promotion. SW paint ain't cheap!! Once the rooms were done, I'm very satisfied. My hubby ended up doing the painting; he liked the quality of the paint. Four stars only for the price-and that was on sale.

Just the color scheme alone that they had used to paint the outside of their building was phenomenal. I knew I had come to the professionals. But the magnificents didn't stop there. As I entered the store I couldn't believe how well the products were presented. It was like being in a candy store when I was a child. Everything spoke to me, calling out my name, saying "here I am, I'm easy to find". But this wasn't even the best part, as soon as i walked through the doorway and my foot hit the welcome mat, there was Joe. Joe was ready and more than willing to help me start my project! Just his very voice filled my heart with an overwhelming feeling that I mattered and was appreciated, not just because how he said those words but because he was there to help me immediately. He was a endless fountain of information, I had so many questions, and this fine young gentleman answered them all with ease and enthusiasm. He really made me feel confident that I could complete my project with swiftness and ease. Joe was a outstanding employee, very polite and well mannered. I could only hope that in the future I could meet more strapping young men like him, because let us be honest, good help can be hard to find these days. After my encounter with Joe I was able to quickly get the supplies I needed and the colors I needed matched. "unlike some competitor stores "cough cough PPG cough....". Found this gem while either facebooking or TikTok. Took my two step kids here as they love to go…read morethrifting. The owner was very kind and let me take photos of the shop. This is a new upcoming thrift store as well as a craft shop. I believe they offer events from time to time. Time will tell. The kids found a few items. There's a sign posted that indicates pricing per colored tag. If it didn't have a tag, she offered us to provide an Honest answer as what we thought it would be. ranging from $4-15ish There's all sorts of Knick-knacks. From books, toys, vintage furniture, objects, dresses, and then some. They do have a Facebook page you can follow as far as hours it varies but Sunday was from 12-8. They have them Posted online. Super cool place to check out. It's in an older shopping center that sadly is deserted but hopefully having that store there will spark more interest...
