I've been to this target location more than I can count in a year. I usually go to the one in fairview heights simply because the people that work at that location are always 100% happy, cheerful, and nice! As for the Shiloh location. I would stop here whenever I need to go to world market or dierbergs. Anyways, I have never had any bad experience here until recently that just throws me off so bad that I will most likely avoid this location. There are 2 other targets that are within 10 mins that are much better. They have more variety and way better customer service! My problem here recently was that all the targets and even advertised online and in the ads that there was a promotion for buy 3 of a certain product get a 5$ gift card. The promotion wasn't ringing up at the registers, there was no sign where the products were but it was advertised online and in the ad. The cashiers wouldn't honor it so I had to go to customer service desk. The lady there...was very rude. Huffing and puffing because her lazy ass didn't want to check the promotion. I can tell she was mad because she was basically pounding her keyboard. When she found the promotion, she said she would only take $4.50 off instead of giving me the gift card (would prefer gift card since I use it anyways but it was whatever). Then I wanted to use cartwheel. She said I was not able to use cartwheel when she's adjusting the price for the gift card promotion (again advertised online, in ads, and at other target locations). I'm like seriously so I was like forget it. I don't want it. Because the cartwheel promotion was an additional 50% off. Yes I was scoring a deal! Anyways, I went to the other 2 target locations and they were happy to take care of me without any hassle! Got what I wanted at the other two locations (lower stock due to demand). Could of got the same promotion at Shiloh is the customer service lady which I think she may be a manager too was a (excuse my language) b!+ch! So at all possibly if you have to go AVOID the long brown hair mean looking lady at customer service desk. She never smiles and always talks and looks miserable. She's not friendly at all either. Possibly the worse target I've ever been to (service wise). I WONT BE BACK FOR A VERY LONG TIME! Or if I go back it will be to see what that lady's name is so I can update to make sure no one deals with her and her poor attitude! PS: she wasn't only rude to me but other people too and even the cashiers. But some of them deserve it because they were lazy. Overall, I just think this target is broken. The mean customer service lady is most likely burnt out and doesn't enjoy her job. If that's the case....seek some other employment.

I stopped in at Target today. It wasn't overly crowded. I was able to get in and out quickly. I took the recommendation of a Target employee and bought the wine that she had suggested and it is awesome. So glad that target employees are so helpful!

I am handicap due to multiple reasons, but three of them are a crushed T12 Vertebrae, six hip surgeries, and level 3 Fibromyalgia-peripheral neuropathy. As a result, choosing the exact mattress to help these and other health issues like Acid Reflux, one must factor these into the decision making. When dealing with multiple type of medical issues, along with the worst of all, (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome CRPS/RSD), you spend a lot more time in bed then anywhere else! But, when I started talking Pam about purchasing a new mattress, the very first thing that she said was, "I will need to ask you some personal questions, if you don't feel comfortable answering them, I understand; but they are very pertinent when buying a new bed!" I said "okay." I couldn't believe a mattress salesperson was asking me all these medical questions. They never ask me all this when I bought my Sleep Number Bed (which I loved for about four years, then hated it from there on; for multiple reasons), same is true with my last purchase of a bed; at a different furniture store. Well, the reason was, because Pam wasn't just a general salesperson, like the others; who just sold me a bed. Pam, was truly a professional and subject expert; in her field! She was able to match me up with a bed that is set up for individuals who have all of my aforementioned ailments. The remote for the adjustable frame, actually has a Zero-G setting, snore setting, and etc. Kloss Furiture and Outlet is not in the business to just sell you any product, they are there to find the exact fit for you, so that your experience is the best that it can possibly be. This contentment continued through the delivery process too! The delivery people from Kloss Furiture and Outlet, called me when they where about 15 minutes away from arriving to my home. Once here, they came and introduced themselves and looked at everything, and asked if I had any special concerns. Then, the two young men ask about things such as "let's figure out the best height of the bed for you." We don't want you to have to climb up and into your bed, nor do we want you to feel like you are sleeping on the floor! Plus, they discussed about how there is usually a cold draft that is low to the floor. Also, if the bed is too high and your not able to sit comfortably on the edge of your bed. They also took extra precautions not to mark up my wood flooring, while coming in. Heavy duty blankets were placed on every corner, so they didn't put any marks on my walls. Finally, after the bed was assembled, they showed me how everything works with the remote, made sure that I didn't have any additional questions. And, that I was completely happy with where everything was placed.They cleaned up everything while exiting my home. Within 10 minutes of the delivery, gentlemen leaving, I received a call from Mike at the Kloss Furiture and Outlet Store. He called to make sure that I didn't have any concerns, questions, and if everything went to my satisfaction. I explained to Mike that to this point, "I have never, in my 50 years, experienced this type of professionalism and thoroughness in any purchases that I have made." I sincerely believe that Kloss Furiture and Outlet and I, are off to what seems to be a long and enjoyable relationship!

When I came into the store during their half price sale, I found the prices to be inflated. One…read moreexample is Stickley Harvey Ellis 26 inch table. If you go to Stickley.com the list price is 2977 when you look on the list price given by MUELLER they inflate that price by 56% and have it marked as $5299.99. There are laws in Illinois that protect consumers from prices that are inflated to deceive if customers into believing they're getting a greater discount on a sale According to Illinois administrative code retail advertisement rule title 14 sub section 470.240 this prohibits, false or deceptive advertisement and pricing practices. Even though the sales person, Clark, stated there was a state law prohibiting them from inflating the list price they do it anyway. I absolutely understand why people want to support local businesses, but buyers beware. If there's something you're interested in check out the prices from the manufacturer be certain that you're not falling to deceptive advertisement practices like I almost got caught in today. When I pointed this out to the sales person, he stated well they need to make money too. Mueller do better.

Mueller Furniture had always been a highly respected local business. However, "Honest John"…read more(Founder - 1927), Roland, Les and Lynwood Mueller, former owners of Mueller Furniture, must be quite disturbed to learn how poorly the business is being operated by Mark Mueller. ​We have heard of numerous complaints about poor customer service and employee dissatisfaction since Mark took over the business in 2022. We experienced extremely poor customer service recently when we purchased an expensive sofa and love seat from Mueller Furniture which was determined to be "defective" by one of Mark's own employees after it was delivered to our home. Mark, however, personally refused to accept return of the defective furniture and issue a refund. We now have to purchase other furniture for our home after we donate the defective Mueller furniture to a charity. ​We recommend that no one purchase furniture from Mueller Furniture.
