    Good clearance prices. They had a great iPad holder for $4. Although the clerk was a snotty fuck

    Short: Ordered furniture at end of December 2020- now being…read moretold August 24, 2021. 8 MONTHS waiting on furniture. Details: Ordered a sectional a the end of December. We were told by the Macy's sales associate that it would be a while before it arrived- maybe April or May. Received an email in February from Macy's stating they would let me know when my furniture was in the warehouse. Seems like all is moving along & would arrive about April/May...the same time we were told by the Macy's associate at time of order because expected delivery times is often a deciding factor when people are purchasing furniture. At the end of April- I decided to check in on my order and was told the order was now expected at the end of August. Eight months waiting on furniture!? We expected a delay of about 3 maybe even 4 months due to COVID, but after being told April/May and then doubling the wait time without a word is BAD BUSINESS. Was sooo happy to find a sectional big enough for our family & within budget, however, this ordeal is Definitely leaving a very bad taste for Macy's. In fact- after we get our furniture, hopefully in August- this will be the last thing we ever buy here (if they don't go out of business first). Especially after being told we lose the deposit if we cancel our order. If we find a couch we like that's deliverable before August, it will be worth the loss or small claims court (I got time) or the CC bank will eat it, and Macy's can stick the couch you know where. It will be in stock for the next sucker. More informative updates and more accurate estimations of delivery time from sales associates on our furniture would've avoided this. We ordered this based on an April/May delivery- NOT August.

I was…read moreinterested in baby cameras/monitors and there were plenty to choose from but only had prices listed on a few. I picked up a $ 9.99 rattler which was on baby register list . Got to self check out that only takes credit cards. It said declined on card which made no sense. I tried again and it kept showing waiting on approval ....for about 5 min till I pulled card out. Not one employee in sight. After over 10 min. I Walked around to the one single register with a cashier to ask if it will finally clear out on my credit card and she said it would. I asked if I she could just check out my 1 item with cash. she said I would but I have to go around and wait in back of line. I expressed that I had already been waiting and some lady who was checking out the whole time at self check in another area, loudly told me "if you want to be checked out you have to go get in back of line". I decided to try self again on different register and card. Same thing. Same lady kept loudly & rudely telling me how to do it & that I didn't do it like she told me. I told her that I don't work there so why is she being so rude. She said I was the rude one & she is off the clock & that I should be glad I was getting free help. I wasn't aware that I was suppose to pay for service to check myself out. She said everything so loud & with such a condescending tone that I was very embarrassed. On the clock or off, employees should be respectable to the customers. I have had to self check at most stores. There's usually an assistant in the area to assist in any problems as needed. In fact I used the same card at Hobby Lobby self check 30 min later, no problem. My purchase of a $9.99 baby rattler experience at this store was not good. Other items I had planned to purchase off my Great Grandbabys "Baby List" such as the monitor camera, stroller, etc. will be purchased elsewhere. As far as the off duty condescending woman, it looked like she needs some training in customer service.
