My daughter is reupholstering part of a velvet sofa that she found (there's slight damage to just a couple front edges) and there was so much that she called time out as she was getting so overwhelmed by the selection. The last time I was in NYC, I went to Zarin Fabric which has amazing upholstery fabric. I found some fabric here that I had gotten swatches of at Zarin Fabric! The prices were also very reasonable. I'm so excited that this is fairly nearby (about 35 mins)!

I went to Dillard's to purchase a bottle of Aqua di Gio that I have been wearing for over 20 years…read more There were three sales ladies standing there and I told them what I wanted. They pulled up a box and rang it up for 110.00 plus tax. I opened it the next day and sprayed a small amount and knew immediately this isn't what I have been wearing for over 20 years. It had a rotten smell to it. It is so nasty, I don't know what to do as I can't wear this cologne. I've wasted all this money. It's depressing! Also, the same day, I went to the Calvin Klein underwear section and every pair of underwear was 40% off. Actually they had raised the price and then put the 40% off. Anyway I found a box my size and took it to pay for it and the man told me those aren't on sale just selected styles. I told him all CK's are on sale and he went over and started looking around like he's confused doing drama at the underwear rack. He stated "he would override and give it to me for sale price." What a joke. The last three time I have been in that store, I was the only customer in the place. Something needs to change period.
