I wanted what appears to be a deck of classic Pokemon cards, the originals from 1999, it was labeled as partially sealed with a firm price of $69 ($74 out the door) and when the woman came to help me at the locked cabinet she asked what I wanted and I told her the box of Pokémon cards from 1999, which was wedged between boxes of newer, bigger sets of the cards which I'm not interested in. The label said partially sealed (it was opened once but had the torn plastic wrap on it still) I asked her how I would know the cards are in the taped up bag/ box and she told me to shake it so I did, she said the sound I heard was the cards in there. She took it to the register and told me to meet one of the other ladies at the counter who could help me. The woman at the register asked what I wanted and I pointed saying "the trading cards she just put on the counter" in reply the woman at the register raised her voice a bit to where the other 5-6 customers in the store at the time could hear her saying "Pokémon trading cards!" She then charged me up and removed a tiny white tag (about the size of a dime) from a string on the bagged box and placed the tiny tag behind the counter. Once I paid $74 at the register I opened the box while going out the door and immediately turned around through the entry door because it was not filled with Pokémon cards, but clear empty plastic sleeves and a crumpled up piece of paper! I went right back to the counter and even though the box has a large sticker on it that says it's a deck box of original WOTC(original printers of the American cards), one of the ladies pulled up the tag they removed that specified card sleeves, contrary to the huge tag provided to me in the photo. This labeling is intentionally misleading and the only right thing to do would be a full refund in exchange for the originally mislabeled product but they refused, even though I hadn't left yet and they thought they were cards too! I am extremely upset at the fact that the staff was unable to do what would have been ethical. read more

This place was tucked off the road next to my hotel. If I wasn't staying there I doubt I'ld have ever noticed this little consignment shop. Little may not be a good description though, as this place is anything but and it's packed with all sorts of good deals on other peoples stuff you just gotta have. Stroll through here and let the nostalgia train roll. read more

Disappointing customer service. 5 min time limit on looking through basketball cards.

I've lived in the area for a couple of years and was unaware of this antique mall. I was excited to check it out. First, the ladies working the counter didn't acknowledge my presence or look up from their reading material. When I approached the counter to inquire about something, she treated me as if I interrupting her because she had to get up from her chair. I believe the name of the staff member was Jennifer, as I overheard someone say her name. Her rudeness and unprofessional demeanor were truly appalling. I just walked away, because I was not going to engage such an ugly person. I walked around the mall to check it out. In the back, I encountered a booth owner, and we started chatting because I was interested in getting a booth and wanted information about the mall. Wow, the stuff he told me! I shared with him my experience about Jennifer, and he informed me that vendors frequently receive complaints about both her and Liz, and management does nothing about it. He said vendors are not happy about a lot of things in this mall and are leaving or will be leaving. I read all the other reviews, which were equally shocking. It's unbelievable that these employees are still employed. I feel sorry for the people trying to sell in that mall, as these ladies are actively discouraging customers. I won't be back! I won't be getting a booth there! Btw, when I left, I said goodbye and neither said a word to me. read more

I use to love coming to this antique mall. I always found a lot of antiques I wanted. After we had lunch I suggested we go and look for treasures. Wow...what a disappointment. It has become more of a garage sale then actual antiques. Yes, there are a few nice booths, but it is overwhelmingly just junk. Now if course, the saying goes; one mans junk is another mans treasure! After searching the entire, huge building, I didn't see one thing I couldn't live without and that never happens to me in an antique store! Sad to say, this place for me, is more junk then treasure. read more

I loved all the historical items especially the military items but the only issue we had was the workers at the time wasn't the greatest, also I understand the items inside the cases are there for security reasons but the workers had us point out the individual items to look at and when were were done checking out the item they would immediately ask us yes or no if we are gonna purchase the item. I think when we want to check out the items inside the cases we should be able to go through the items ourselves carefully and let the employee watch to make sure no one steals or breaks anything, because I felt a little bit under pressure when I had a lot of things I wanted to look at but couldn't because the employee had to give us the item to look at but other than that improvement idea I loved the place read more

A trip to the St. Clair Antique Mall is quite an experience. They have so many booth full of interesting treasures. You never know what great finds you will see at the mall. I usually return monthly to see what new items are being offered. read more

Its ok. A mixture of antique, peddler's mall, yard sale leftovers, and crafts. Lots of primitives, jewelry, clothing and military stuff. Most of the clothing is just used and the one vintage piece was overpriced. I was hoping for more antique and vintage stuff and less second hand. read more

Love this antique mall....It's my new place to shop. A friend told me about this place so I had to check it out. The staff is so friendly and nice. Very helpful. It's such a big place. I asked if they knew if they had a certain item I was looking for and they knew right where to find it!!! Amazing!!!!
