This shop is always fun to stop by but I'd say a LOT of their items are overpriced. They have some…read moregreat finds such as their winter outerwear and jeans but even still they sell damaged or unwearable items for wayyy too much. I understand a small business like this has to price things accordingly but everytime I've come in here it's always dead and I doubt anyone is leaving with a haul of clothes. I rather just bask in the actual activity of going through clothes at goodwill. The staff is generally friendly. The aesthetic and decor of this place are to die for lol but again thats really it.

Today was the store grand opening with full stock and dedicated store operating hours. I had…read morevisited two times before; and both times it was closed (on a Saturday and at 5pm weeknight). Store is clean; well stocked; overhead signage identifies each area, so it's easy to find what you're hunting for. I saw a couple of patrons with carts full of items. Since it was the grand opening, everything was discounted. I thought pricing was kinda all over the place. A used wooden kitchen chair for $19.99; knick knacks and glassware for $1.00 and up. I was greeted by a couple of workers with hello's as I looked through the store. I didn't look at clothing; not sure of that selection or pricing. Big area of purses and bags. Not a big shoe selection (IMO). I left without purchasing anything on this first IN-store visit. Even though this was technically my third visit.

They also have great pricing on new items like mattresses, linens and pillows to make these personal items affordable for families in need. Not sure if these are donated, or if St. Vincent's is able to purchase with funds earned at the store. Signage is awesome outside and inside! I usually drop off some gently used items for resale, and always find something I take home. The best part is the warm and fuzzy feeling from contributing to a worthwhile cause...recycling at its finest. Each employee, whether paid or volunteer always has a smile and willingness to help. This place was huge with many bins filled with all kinds of things. You need some time to go through everything. I'm not experienced but there are professional searchers there so I just stand next to them and watch them go through it and if there is something that I like then I will take it if they don't. I got a cool Spider-Man/Venom shirt for about 50 cents. There are many good deals but you will need some time.

I think that's why the Goodwill Outlet exists. Staff don't label or stage or toss broken stuff. They leave it for this crowd. I saw broken items and intact items. I saw dirty items. I needed a shower by 5 minutes in and I stayed a good 30. I almost bought a few wooden hangers for a friend, but it turned out she didn't need them, so I left them behind. Someone else's treasure. I didn't visit the clothing area because I doubt I'd wear anything that came from this Goodwill Outlet, though I'm sure there are some gems. Goodwill Outlet is a scrapper's paradise. Not just a reseller's... I mean a metal scrapper's. Someone filled a cart with all kinds of metal goods. I didn't check prices, but the last time I checked, most things were by the pound. Tip 1: Get there early or you'll be waiting around for parking. Tip 2: "Early" may also apply to the afternoon, as the hours online suggest they close for 2 hours for lunch.

I've supported this local business several times, but unfortunately each visit has left me feeling…read moreunwelcome. The owner has consistently come across as passive-aggressive. When I explained that I can't visit often because I work during their business hours, I was told to come on Saturdays. I later stopped by on a Sunday at 3:00 p.m., well within the posted hours, only to find the store closed. On another visit, there was a promotion for a free item with purchase, but I felt rushed to choose my free item even though I was the only customer in the store. The owner suggested a bar of soap, which felt like a dismissive, low-value option. I also used the fitting room, but the owner seemed annoyed that I only purchased one of the items I tried on, making me feel like I was inconveniencing her. Throughout my visits, I also felt uncomfortable because the owner shared personal complaints and seemed judgmental rather than welcoming. Between the inconsistent business hours and repeated negative interactions, I've decided I won't be returning. I hope the business becomes more customer-focused and creates a more welcoming experience for its patrons.
