Years went by and then they started bothering me on and off. After a routine cleaning from my dentist, one of my wisdom teeth really bothered me and I was referred to Dr. Attia's team. I called and they were able to schedule me on the same day for a consultation (Tuesday). The staff are very friendly and professional. Everyone at the office had a smile and were patient. X-ray was done on site and a smooth, quick process. I thought I might have needed the extraction that same day but Dr. Attia did a thorough assessment and reassured me that it could be done later. I was scheduled 2 days later for the extraction. I needed all 4 removed so I was sedated. Dr Attia and his team provided clear instructions, including a print out, of how to prepare for the procedure and what to expect afterwards, including driving and home care instructions. They answered all my questions clearly and were available by text/phone, providing helpful reminders. The sedation and extractions went smoothly, all done within an hour, without any issues. They provided a very detailed and helpful handout on what to expect hours and days after the procedure, and how to mitigate pain, swelling, bleeding, etc. I had a follow up one week after my appointment when Dr. Attia checked that things were healing well and he shared some details about my procedure and how wisdom teeth. I did have anesthesia which left a gnarly bruise on my hand (thats bc my veins weren't cooperating) but I would do it all over again with him as my surgeon if I had to. Let me just tell you that my surgery was 3 days ago and I've not had ANY pain or swelling that I know of. No discomfort, nothing! The antibiotics still make me a little tired but I stopped using the pain meds 24 hours after my surgery bc they were no longer needed. His staff was so kind and informative. Dr. Iranmanesh removed my four wisdom teeth a little over a week ago and the experience has been as…read moregood as I could have hoped for. The extraction itself was very smooth, and I was done in less than 30 minutes. Dr. I's team had me take Valium, they gave me some nitrous, and IV sedation so I remembered nothing. The local anesthetic took about the rest of the day to wear off and they sent me off with a little baggie full of everything i'd need, including teabags to stop the bleeding, a tablet of Zofran, toothbrush, mouth rinse, and a little tooth-shaped container with my wisdom teeth inside, lol. They even wrapped me up with a little ice pack headband which helped a lot. The healing process was extremely smooth. I was given a sheet with info about what to eat and how to take care of the extraction sites. I followed the instructions and had almost no swelling at all. I was able to start eating and drinking soft things and experienced no pain either. I was so relieved as I had been extremely worried about this. After 9 days I returned for the follow-up appointment, they gave me a long syringe with a curved tip for irrigating the sites, and gave me the go-ahead to return to my typical diet and habits. What really stood out to me was how caring and attentive Dr. I and his team were throughout the whole experience. I received a handwritten note in the mail a few days later letting me know that the surgery had been smooth and telling me I'd been a great patient. They had some difficulty finding a good vein for the IV sedation and poked me several times, but they took great care to wrap my arms and hand where they poked me to prevent bruising. The chair for the surgery was heated and they covered me with a blanket during the procedure. Their attention to detail makes a huge difference especially since a lot of people have a lot of fear of dental procedures.

The team was very reassuring and, instead of just telling me "I need to do a whole new implant for you", he referred me to a prosthodontics specialist first. Depending on what she said, would follow up with him. He consulted with her, my general dentist and potential ortho on what the best course of action would be. He was also very understanding of my financial situation and worked with me. Super thankful for their kindness. I am hoping I don't need to replace my implant (fingers crossed) but I would definitely go back there to do it.

Afterwards, when I had a complication in the middle of the night, we called simply because we didn't know what to do. To our surprise they answered, and the doctor on call Dr.Hom met me at the practice at 2am and patched me up. It was not something that could wait until morning, and this saved me both a lot of freaking out and a trip to the ER. Overall, I couldn't ask for anything better. Although I was a little nervous about the major procedure, I have to say that it went very smoothly. Starting with the scheduling clerk who followed up quickly and found me a convenient appointment, the pleasant receptionist who helped me with my initial questions and really everyone along the way, they all were not only nice but attentive and comforting. The dentist took some time reviewing the procedure with me and discussed potential alternative approaches as well. He determined that the initial plan was the right approach and also explained the reasons why. Except for the initial injections to numb the area affected, the procedure was not only painless but surprisingly smooth and quick. I felt I was in good hands at all times. I also appreciated the TV right on the wall in front of me playing serene nature documentaries. Finally, they made sure I understood what to expect and what was required of me in the hours and days to follow. They made sure to give me printed instructions for reference and plenty of clean gauze to use for the next couple of hours. Although I'm sad to have had to say goodbye to the teeth, recovery has gone well. I am glad I came here for my dental work.

As soon as i was on my way home numbness started to go away the medication was Tylenol and It was not ready yet . But Tylenol!!!! For an extraction that's wild . Anyways I called them to let them know the previous medication i was prescribed for the tooth pain was not working they said just wait for your other prescription. It still was not ready the pain was so bad I had to go to the ER they couldn't take care of my pain I went in person to this crappy place since they didn't answer anymore ! In 5 hours . They tried to say I was in pain cuz I took of my gauze Surgeon came back and said she didn't put any long lasting anesthesia so this time she combined both . & told me to continue taking Tylenol. I screamed and cried so hard in that chair like a kid I was embarrassed , in pain very mad . I would not wish this on my worst enemy . .
