In the case of today I had mine delivered (though weather wasn't pristine in that who can fault some anyway) & peculiar part is have a special kind called the Holyoke Special & this is a first time & overall was pretty good; crust was right, toppings fresh & overall this was good & didn't need seasonings. I also contacted the place for the driver so they knew where I was & clearly they made sure that one got my location right plus a little early as well & you know I have a high instinct if they deliver that well I suspect they also if dine in is identical with service/ambiance & even in the call they played Italian music (what do you expect, it's an Italian style place) read more

Staff is making sandwiches without gloves on. We got pizza take out and had to reheat it when we got home because the person at the front didn't realize it was ready and sitting in a box somewhere. Usually, this place is great. Today, however, HORRIBLE!!!!!! I place an order using DoorDash at about 7:15pm. When 8pm rolls around, I call. Pizza is so good and the grinders too but the dinners are really bad also the skin potatoes. The spaghetti with meat sauce was bad. They put the meat in top of the spaghetti and then the sauce in top of the meat. The skin potatoes was burn. I stay with the pizza. read more

The old reliable of pizza for Hampden County/Western Massachusetts. Holyoke Pizza reliably makes the best pizza and wings at the best price. Customer service is always friendly and to the point - seems like they also log your name and number if you call in since the woman on the other end already knew who I was by my second or third time calling. Unlike some of the other places in downtown Holyoke, they don't dry the sauce out and actually care about the crust of the pizza. Their wings are also super juicy and well-seasoned. They have party-size options that have gone over well for us many times. I put in an order to be delivered later in the day, which worked perfectly- it was a little early which was ok. The pizza was some of the best I have had- I ordered a "light bake" which left the center a tiny bit soft, which was great to sop up sauce. The ingredients were generous on both pizzas- I wouldn't have been unhappy with a little bit more sauce, but overall they were just delicious. The cheese sticks were nothing special, but they were hot, gooey, and tasty. I also ordered a spinach pie- it was very, very good, even warmed up the next day for lunch. Horrible experience Thursday. Ate inside, tables not wiped down, fire hazard pizza boxes stacked everywhere, bathroom down a dank debris strewn hall busy for 15 minutes, a guy in there with some "nasal problems" making snorting noises, eventually guy comes out & left floaters in the toilet & turns out to be a delivery driver ! Staff at the register apathetic and appeared irritated to have to put down their zombie making phones to take my order & then they were loudly arguing amongst themselves. Thankfully I didn't make the choice to come here my father did but I'm one & done. I'd suggest that the board of health pay a visit as should the fire Marshall. We ordered trays of grinders for an after party for our daughter's wedding. I cannot say enough about how fantastic this place is. They are very accommodating and so very pleasant to work with. This review is purely based on the pizza/delivery. If I try something else later my opinion might sway differently. As far as the pizza goes I've had better in the area. It tasted good and if you are a cheese lover you wouldn't be disappointed; very cheesy indeed. However, I didn't care for the taste and texture of the pizza dough. As for the delivery; when it said express delivery on their website I expected it to be a little sooner considering their location is not so far away. I had realized that they were charging me for a large pizza when I had thought I ordered a medium. We unexpectedly found ourselves having to stay overnight in Chicopee. Grabbed one of the few remaining hotel rooms in the area. The desk clerk gave us brochures for the places that delivered. We picked Holyoke Pizza. Delivery was a little long, maybe the distance or the things going on locally that filled up the hotels. But I have to say it was a great pizza (just plain cheese)! I'm not saying that because we we were starving by the time we found a hotel room, because we won't eat it if it's not good. Just ordered 4 of their large, "Gourmet Pizzas" for a group of 15 in downtown Holyoke, including a big salad, sodas, plates, cups and utensils. The woman answering the phone was very helpful, and even applied a discount coupon that she told me about over the phone. Delivery was quick (35 mins), the delivery guy was super courteous, and the food was delicious! We got a "Holyoke Special", "3 Cheese", "Meatlover" and "Veggie". The veggies in the salad were super fresh, and they supplied an assortment of dressing choices. Very reasonable prices, excellent service & great food.
