I'll tell ya, there are not many companies left out there that are as professional and courteous as Holtkamp Heating & Air. As a business owner I am always befuddled by the lackluster service and absence of accountability that most small businesses have these days. Seems anyone can start an A/C company. The difference is not everyone will stand behind their product or service when something goes wrong. This is where Holtkamp really shines. (when it counts the most). In my situation, something was overlooked by the technician so there was a problem with the drainage on our new system. We had some flooding and carpet damage. Holtkamp had a professional clean-up crew at my house within an hour and mitigated any further damage. They had remodeling contractors lined up very quickly and worked with me on my schedule to make sure I was not inconvenienced any further. I am certain that had it been anyone else, I would be at the courthouse now filing a small claims suit and writing a very negative review. Instead, they owned the problem and made it right. FAST! I know that things can go wrong no matter how much talent you hire but there is always an opportunity in misfortune, that's why these guys will have my business for life and I will refer everyone I know their way. read more

JEFF NEWMAN AND HOLTKAMP SAVE THE DAY!!! Yesterday @ 5 PM I called Holtkamp to let them know that the A/C was not working at the rental property that I manage, I was told the technician was currently in route to Loganville, but would get to me by 9 P.M. At 7 P.M. I received a call from Jeff Newman, he was leaving Loganville and was heading my way, he pulled in the driveway at 7:30. I knew it was the capacitor because Matt Hubbard had mentioned that the part was failing but still working when he did the summer service in May. Jeff replaced the capacitor, checked the amperage and the unit was blowing cold air by 8 P.M. I highly doubt any other company could have pulled off this 3 hour turn around from hot and humid to blowing cold air! The repair cost was extremely fair, the service was excellent and the peace of mind priceless! This was my first time meeting Jeff, but I will request him in the future, he's a great guy who went above and beyond and saved the night. Trust me, you don't appreciate A/C until you ain't got it. Holtcamp is our go- to HVAC company. We called them out to evaluate and install at two homes in 18 years. Mr. Matthew Holtcamp came out personally in 2013 to evaluate our needs and make recommendations for a system equipped to meet the needs of a house our size. He was concerned with keeping his guys working during those recession years and cut us a great deal! A week ago, Robbie Lee from Holtcamp came to evaluate our new home and recommend systems. He was very professional and congenial. He made a special effort to procure a "cool spot" system to bring by our house for us to use until our new system was installed. Angelo and Brandon arrived a few days later, on time, professionally dressed and laser focused on getting the new system in properly and explaining how it worked. I'm always impressed with the Holtcamp employees. They arrive on time, work diligently, and do not leave a trace behind. Our system is awesome and works great upstairs. Communication was definitely lacking. Was promised my unit would be installed on Thursday; however, not all of the necessary parts were available at the time of install. I was then promised the installers would be out the very next morning. Did not hear from them, called and was told they would not be available to come out until that afternoon. Found out that they were rerouted to another installation that morning. My air was running Friday night at 10:30 pm; however, the thermostat and unit was not completely wired. Continued to be promised times by the scheduler when a service rep would come out to complete, they were always 1-2 hours late. I would have to call and get update on their arrival. Unit was finally completely installed on the following Wednesday. Text received by sales rep saying he would be out the end of this week for final sign off, haven't heard a word as of yet and it is Friday afternoon. What a great experience. 16 year old air went out on our main level. We have used Holtkamp for maintenance for over 8 years. They were out here the next day (went out on a Sunday night) to assess the problem. They gave us several different options to get us back up and running. Ended up going with new units. Alex our salesman was out here the same day, very knowledgeable and explained everything, answered all our questions. Installed the next day. Angelo and Dominic from Holtkamp did our installation. Very professional. Did an outstanding job. The new outside units were substantially larger than our old units which means they would have been visible from our family room floor to ceiling windows. Called their office on Wednesday. Service call was made Thursday. They confirmed what I already knew...my 18 year old unit needed replaced. Sales showed up later that Thursday and provided 3 different estimates for various scenarios I asked for. The following Monday I confirmed with Holtkamp I would be doing business with them. Installers showed up Tuesday AM, done by Tues 5pm. Less than 1-week turn around from initial contact. I would have preferred the main installer ensured his helper did everything correctly. That is really the only advice I have for the company. I had to point out that the outdoor unit was not level. Very satisfied. I will be taking advantage of their service offering. If I have to replace my other unit they most definitely have my business. I cannot remember the names of everyone involved, but thank you to the entire staff from start to finish. The best service ever. During recent record setting heat of 100 degrees, my A/C broke beyond repair. I called and got several quotes. The Holtkamp representative, Alex, was very professional and friendly. He did a thorough inspection inside the house and up in the attic. Then he made is estimate and gave me different option levels and explained each one. After deciding on Holtkamp they brought me a portable cooler to use through the process. Sleeping was so nice with cooler. Their prices were very competitive. Installation service techs were so knowledgeable, personable and professional. After some initial confusion on what was to be installed in our home the team at Holtcamp quickly eiminated the confusion and worked dilligently to complete the installation of our new gas furnace. The team of Angelo and Ross worked efficiently and were professional and courteous. The phone call from Mr. Holtcamp explaining about the confusion was greatly appreciated. We have a Holtkamp HVAC system that we are pleased with. Last night my wife made a call about 10:00 p.m. because she thought the unit was not performing correctly.. The after hours attendant was very efficient taking down the information and letting her know that a technician would be contacting us shortly. A little after 7:00 a.m. this morning, we received a call from a technician named Drew and he was here around 9:30 a.m.Thankfully, we did not have a problem, however, Drew was very knowledgeable about our system and explained how we could get maximum benefit from our particular system. Drew was out here as our service tech this morning. He was very courteous and explained our options in a couple of different scenarios. Just impressed that he gave us the pros and cons of both replacing the motor as well as a new furnace. The company has been very flexible with our schedule and is sending us out a representative today to give us a quote for a new unit. Not sure which way we are leaning yet, but either way we know Holtkamp will be glad to provide the service. I don't think you always get this. We purchased our unit 4 years ago and have the recommended servicing as suggested. The installation was as scheduled by professional servicemen. During the summer our unit went out due to icritters damaging the wiring. When we called it was late in the day and thought we would have to wait until the next day to have the unit fixed. Not so. The technician was in Kennesaw, had to go pick up a part and arrived at our home at 6pm and worked until after 7pm. They certainly went the extra mile. We had two furnaces go out in the coldest weather we've had all year. We were without any heat. Matthew's guys came out and installed two new units and did an outstanding job. We met Matthew Holtkamp after flooding from Hurricane Ivan took out our HVAC. After a storm it is easy to get snookered. That did not happen. He was a smaller company then and as he grew he helped us maintain the heating and cooling (Trane) for 14 years until the house sold. Never went out and the whole house dehumidifier was awesome. Today Brandon came out to the new place and took care of the hvac here. So impressed by this company. My air stopped working on the weekend, and when I reached out to Holtkamp Heating and Air, I received a call back from the owner in the afternoon and from a technician at 8:30pm on a Sunday evening. Instead of coming out and charging me extra money for service on the weekend, the technician (Brandon) walked us through a few simple steps to get our air working again, without charging anything for his time! Jarred was professional, considerate of us and our home. He explained answers to all our questions thoroughly and easily so we understand. Friendly and easy to work and communicate with! One area for potential improvement...maybe wear masks inside the home during Covid. Still liked Jarred a lot! Perhaps a company policy on masks or at least ask the homeowner. Our upstairs AC unit was on the fritz and it was 81 degrees going to bed each night! We called Holtkamp and they were super friendly over the phone and scheduled an appointment quickly!
