Very positive experience having them replace both of my A/C systems. Jason arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time to give me a quote (does that ever happen?). They use shoe covers when they come inside your house to keep your carpet clean. The quote was reasonable. But, what got me sold was they could set up an appointment within a week to replace the systems. Chris arrived to the minute of when they said they'd be here. Also used shoe covers when entering the house. Was surprised it only took one person to replace both units, but the entire job was completed in under 6 hours. The quote and bill were all done electronically, which I personally prefer. The bill was exactly what they quoted and there were no hidden fees. Payment options are convenient and there is no additional charge for financing. But, I decided to just use my own credit card to pay for it. Small family owned company and extremely down to earth. Our HVAC needed replacing and we called several people. Jason came over the same day to provide a quote. Pricing was very reasonable and I loved the think outside the box solutions he offered. I felt he was very trustworthy and he worked hard to earn our business without being pushy. ClimateSmith took really good care of us. Mr. Smith was awesome. He came to our home the day after we called and thoroughly evaluated the existing heating / air conditioning system in our home. He explained everything he found and gave us several options to choose from including repair, partial system replacement and full system replacement. Due to the age of our system, we decided to replace the entire system and were given several several price options with varying levels of efficiency. The installers showed up two days later, exactly when scheduled and did an excellent job too. Their work was neat inside as well as outside and we didn't have to do any cleanup after they left. The system works great. We feel they offered an excellent value and would recommend them to friends and family. For the first time ever, I can't wait to get my first electric bill this summer to see how much we save, lol. read more

They charged me $354 ($299 part Robertshaw 41-402 Carob Ignitor and $55 Service Fee) to replace a part that costs less than $18 everywhere. And, the guy took less than ten minutes to put the part on :) I called the office and they sang the same song. Looks like they believe in highway robbery and not worry about having long term customers. I feel like they cheated me as if there is no tomorrow. I can understand 2X$20 plus service charge of $55, total of $95, but not $354. Avoid them at any cost please read more

I was having concerns about my AC unit not cooling properly, so I wanted to reach out to the experts to see if something was wrong. I preferred a local, family owned business and found ClimateSmith on Yelp. I agree with several of the other reviews that ClimateSmith will provide a positive, trustworthy, hassle-free experience. I was able to reach out via email to Debra to get an appointment scheduled. She emailed back almost immediately and helped me get an appointment scheduled that worked with my schedule. She also provided a courtesy call to let me know that Jason (or Justin- sorry I can't remember), my technician would be arriving shortly. He arrived during the 3 hour window that I was quoted. I appreciated that he was not late. When he arrived, he was very personable and took the time to listen to my concerns. He looked at my furnace in the attic and inspected my unit outside and explained to me in laymen terms what my problem was. He was able to give me price estimate before he completed any work, and I appreciated his transparency. Their prices are very affordable and not inflated like a lot of other corporate businesses. We have a new home in '13 and never had the a/c or furnace serviced. I change the filters regularly, but noticed it didn't seem to be cooling as well. Used Yelp and found climate Smith. Gary was the tech and he called and asked if he could arrive early as the prior appointment for him ended quickly. Having moved in from out of state I hadn't used a company in GA yet so I signed up for a single service in my main/2nd floor unit. Gary arrived and suggested that given my situation I could save $ if I signed up for the yearly contract service for both units if mynpan was to service them for the furnaces...he didn't press hard but I earnestly felt he was sharing so I knew my options. It made sense so I signed up and he checked out both units finding that the main unit wasn't cooling how it should. He was comfortable with me observing as I was curious and he showed me how he knew and I learned a lot about my equipment. We've enjoyed a very cool home during the heat wave as a result. James was one of the best, most honest technichans I have ever met. He diagonsed the problem right away and fixed our furnance within minutes. And charged a very fair price. I have seen dozens of other companies that make up stories of this problem or that, and choose to replace the whole piece rather than repair. Climate smith gives you the full informaiton. I have gotten quotes from 5 different Heating and Cooling companies. ClimateSmith was fairly priced and was willing to negotiate. Jason was extremely professional and explained all the details when it comes to what product best fits my home and my budget. I bought a new unit and furnace. Chris installed everything beautifully. Your typical technician wraps tape all over the furnace and it ends up looking like a mummy. Chris did a great job sealing all the cracks and also layered some sealant puddy so the tape doesn't fall off for years to come.
