if I could leave a I would, however I bought mobile home about eight months after Clarks installed the unit I have had nothing with a problem with it since I moved in firstly they installed it too close to the wall. I can't even get a filter in there. Secondly, a major part of it is installed upside down. It is the wrong size unit for the house and the humidity reads between 91 and 99 in this house. And if that wasn't worse, I come home every day to an 82° house because it doesn't even heat temperature. I have a daughter with multiple sclerosis who is very sick in the heat and she has been sick all summer. The owner of Clarks knows this and knows my family he now has come forth since he installed this very conveniently he decided he does not work on mobile homes and will not stand behind the unit they he installed. It's quite possible if it was and everything was the way it should be with the size of the unit. I wouldn't have this problem, but he refuses to come out and fix it or do anything to it because he no longer works on mobile it's pretty crappy. I have gotten an estimate that it will cost me about $7000 to fix it but I don't have so I will be taking all this further. Do not use Clarks and actually I see by their ratings. They don't even have a four star. They shouldn't even be in business. read more

They came out. He broke my drain pipe in my crawlspace. I hsd signed up for maintenance agreement and the cleaning of my equipment was not done as promised. I Do Not recemmend this company! read more

The technician Tom was great and courteous. He was on-time, professional, and knew what he was doing. He found a leak in my evaporator coil and gave me a quote. That gets them 1 star. My AC is brand new and covered under warranty, so I just had to pay for the work to get the coil replaced. The quote was 2200 for 3 hours of work. If I signed up to their membership, I got 440 dollars off. Ultimately I chose to get someone else to come out and replace it. In the end it cost me 600 dollars with tip, and a breakfast sandwich (because he started really early in the morning). Their quotes are 100% pulled out of their ass. Don't trust the costs they give you. Do your research and get someone else to beat their quote. Other companies can and will beat them because they're ridiculous costs. Don't waste your money. read more

Clark’s Heating & Air - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Braselton, Georgia

A great company to work with. They have worked on my air conditioning at my house a couple of times most recently replaced the whole system. Also have worked at my parents property for years and had to replace a system there as well. Highly highly recommend this company read more

Reviewing our recent installation on 7/15/23. Clark's Heating and Air was recommended by my Father in-law who lives in Port Royale. I want to make it a point that I had to personally track the owner Robert in hopes of a final explanation of what happened throughout this process, what went wrong and still was unable to get an explanation. It would seem that getting the job is the most important aspect, and an apology or an explanation after two weeks doesn't make sense. Back Story: Our installation started with an estimated install time of 6.5 hours on a Friday. Two men were sent and a third to help. The job lasted over 13 hours, HOT family and HOT pets for the entire time. This went on from 9am to 10:30pm. I was ensured by Jonathan, the lead installer, that the system would undergo a QA within the next few days, which never happened. I went in our attic to look at the job and was surprised to see the extremely poor work that had been done. (See attached pictures) Vents not sealed in multiple places, BRAND NEW duct runs not properly attached, short condensation lines already washing the BRAND NEW outdoor pad the BRAND NEW unit is attached to, trash/debris in the attic, improper sealed insulated exterior unit lines, pinched ducts, insulation blowing out of vents. Gene was sent out to repair the issues. I was satisfied with the repairs and requested a call from the owner, whom I still hadn't had the privilege to speak with at any point. At the end of the day, still no call. Tell me why, as the customer, I have no access to the owner for an explanation and / or apology. I'm disgusted with the low level of craftsmanship, customer service, and overall basic disregard of our home and money. We try to support local businesses because we live in the community. Clark's has had every opportunity to make this right, and I'm not talking about monetarily. I will NOT be recommending Clark's Hearing and Air to ANY of my family, fellow Veteran community, and/or neighbors. Also, I'm not sure where that leaves the system and warranties... Great feeling after spending over $10,000! Having read through some recent reviews, it seems Robert, the owner, acts rude and arrogant to other customers he encounters. DO AN EXCELLENT JOB, TAKE OWNERSHIP, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, PERSONALLY APOLOGIZE WHEN MISTAKES ARE MADE, GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND THEIR LOVED ONES. read more

Do not use this company, the will bait and switch you. Tell you one thing then do another, They take advantage saying they are "veteran friendly company". They do not stick to there word when they promise to do a job. The owner wouldn't even pick up the phone to call a unhappy customer. Gene the project manager tells you he can do something then the next day, he goes back on his word and wants you to pay extra, after you agree on the job! I should have just paid a little more money and had Reliable Heating and Air do the work. read more

I was amazed at the professionalism displayed by the employees of Clark's Heating and Air of Braselton. The employees were very efficient while installing the new furnace and air conditioner. I know it must have been very hot in the attic but they did not complain at all. Their prices were very reasonable and they were very easy to work with. They were all very knowledgeable about Heating and Cooling. I feel secure knowing that I can always depend on them if I have another problem. read more

Robert and his crew from Clark's Heating and Air are the most professional HVAC people I have ever dealt with! If you want a company to come out and not try to up sell you or overcharge you, then you need to call Robert with Clark's! Hands down the best HVAC company ever! read more

The air works great, but MAKE SURE you get everything in writing. If he tells you about a discount or rebate you will get, and it's not IN WRITING, you will not get it and he'll try to explain away why it isn't his fault, just your basic lack of understanding. I had no idea Jackson EMC even had a rebate until he told me I qualified. We bought the expensive unit because of the rebate, I DISCUSSED it with him before installation, only to have JEMC deny it. Then, well, start over at the top. It was somehow my fault because he didn't have it written down. read more

House was cool after months of being away. Decided to turn off the AC to change the filter then, blah! No air, nothing. Turned to Yelp for multiple quotes and Clark's was quick to respond directly in the app. Set a time. They were here early. A couple of trips to the van outside and BOoM cold air. 2:00 pm 85 in the house. 3:00 pm I'm putting on a sweatshirt. I'm satisfied with the price. Will call again. read more

David, our Clark's Heating & Air, service technician just left and I couldn't be happier with the service. We had a new AC system installed in 2011 by a big name vendor because we didn't know better. They took advantage of us and we paid more for the Trane system than we should have. Then they kept hounding us for service contracts that were very overpriced. Terrible experience, but I guess they need to pay for that ball field. ;-) This past Sunday afternoon our unit stopped blowing cold air. I called Clark's on the recommendation of several friends and I am so glad I did! The sales rep was very friendly, took detailed notes about our issue and had a service technician lined up for the next morning. FAST time in 90-degree May! David called when he was on the way and showed up on time. Very personable guy. He checked everything over and found a blown capacitor. He had the new part installed within an hour. He then took the time to explain to me why certain parts might go bad and how I can best protect our system in the future. He never tried to sell me on maintenance plans or anything like that. The price for the service call was very fair (less than I expected). I went from not knowing who to trust with our AC needs to having 100% faith in Clark's. They will get all our business in the future. In fact, for the peace of mind I'm going to contact them about a service plan just for the peace of mind. Trust this company 100%. They truly care about their customers. read more

Call these guys. They will meet or exceed your expectations, in service, installation and customer service. They were on time, professional, and did a great job. They have earned my business for life. read more

New to the area so I used the neighborhood newsletter and saw Clark's HVAC ad. I called Robert Saturday evening and 7:45 AM Sunday morning he arrived. In about one hour he had everything up and running. Very professional, excellent service, and fair pricing. Who could ask for more and thank you again Robert for helping me on short notice. read more

We have used Clark's Hearing and Air for four years now and they have always come out as soon as possible and done a GREAT job for us! Robert is always very helpful and recently, David came out to replace a capacitor in our antiquated AC unit. He was here right at the beginning of the 2 hour arrival timeframe and he finished the job and added more Freon in less than an hour! We will continue to call on Clark's for our Heat/AC needs! read more

Very pleased with Robert and his team! We had a new system installed for our basement and a mini split unit for my lower garage. They even went as far as to move an existing unit to a more convenient location. They were on time and on budget! These guys are awesome! read more

So unfortunately the first review for this company isn't going to be a good one. The tech came to my home after a call to my home owner warranty company. He did make it out promptly which is why I won't give them a single star, but I feel like they only had their own interests in mind. The tech found a leak in the coil and immediately said the entire AC system needed to be replaced, obviously the most expensive outcome, that was on a Thursday. He told me he'd call the warranty company and explain what the problem was. That Saturday I get a call from him asking if I'd heard anything from the warranty department and I said no, he asked to let him know when I hear something. So Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) I follow up and the warranty company says they never heard from him...that's because he didn't want to wait on hold to speak to a representative to give them a report...something he's getting paid to do! He tells ME to call and give them his number so they can get in touch with him because he's to busy to deal with it. So once I spend 5min on hold and explain the situation to the warranty department (whom was just as shocked as I was) they say they'll call me back as soon as they get a hold of him. The cherry on the cake...ready, here it comes. This company is so greedy and ready to screw its customers over that when the warranty company suggested fixing the coil (the only part that had an issue) they replied by refusing the job since the ENTIRE system wasn't going to be replaced. Needless to say this caused us to go without an AC system for several more days. Do yourself a favor and call the next guy in the list. read more

I read the single poor review and Clark's response which sounded reasonable. So I called Clark's because of good recommendations by neighbors. Robert came the next day at the time promised. He quickly found the two issues I was having with my furnace, and made the necessary repairs at a reasonable cost which includes coming back in the spring for a checkup of both furnace and air conditioning. He explained the problem, which was a plugged drain line affecting the performance of the furnace as well as causing noises. He also took care of the thermostat which had caused problems both currently and in the past. He also found that I had installed the furnace filter backwards. I am pleased with his work and will use his services again. read more

Yesterday afternoon around 6PM, when the temps just hit 106 degrees, we noticed that the interior of our home was starting to heat up. I checked our 5 ton AC and could tell that the compressor was not working, only the fan. I left a message for Dave Clark, the owner, that my AC was down and I needed to schedule a repair. Dave called me back and within 5 minutes, I had an appointment for noon the next day. On time as scheduled, Ivan, one of Dave's very competent technicians, arrived at my residence all smiles and ready to work. I've been around AC's in the past and could tell that Ivan was really well trained and and his experience was evident. Ivan quickly diagnosed the problem. I had a hole in the condenser coil and all of my freon disappeared. Ivan was able to competently braze the hole, performed a pressure test and then filled the coil with the appropriate amount of freon. The AC unit came back on line and was putting our cold air 5 minutes later. This is my second customer contact with Dave and his staff at Clark HVAC. I've had stellar service from everyone involved and highly recommend this "honest and highly competent" HVAC company to anyone who needs outstanding service. Thanks Dave and Ivan ! read more

Robert came out to look at my air conditioner system right away and took the necessary time to test everything and explain to me what the problem was. After determining that the compressor on my 14 year old unit was dead, he was able to get a new unit installed for me the next day (a Saturday). Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Considering I know next to nothing about HVAC units, it was very reassuring to have someone actually explain everything to me in way that I could understand. I will continue to use Clark's if ever have any further issues. read more
