My wife went to pick up our items from the truck. The gate was open so she pulled inside it. A large man came out screaming and yelling at her. He cursed at her REPEATEDLY and stood nearby glaring at her intimidating. She wasn't comfortable staying as he yelled "Are you done yet?" If you EVER need a tow...don't call or ask or accept one from these guys. EVER! I'm a pastor and I make enough of my own mistakes. But this was out of line and the height of verbal abuse to anyone. We weren't trying to cause problems and just trying to get our belongings and felt like 3rd class citizens. He didn't want us there as he acted like they were closing and we shouldn't be there longer than a couple minutes.

Discouraged I would ever get my car fixed, I was recommended to Van Dyne Automotive and was assured if anyone could fix it, they could. It's a small place and I had never heard of them before but I took another chance and I am very happy I did. The mechanic Brian was very busy but fit me in right away, I was waiting on my friend to pick me up as I figured it would take days to figure out like all the other places did, but before my ride arrived, Brian had already found and repaired the issue that was making my car run so badly. I was shocked and in disbelief, but he assured me that it was definitely what was causing the problem, he explained it all to me but I don't remember what it was, it seemed complicated to me but Brian said it a simple repair that the other places missed. I don't know if he has magic powers or is just really awesome at his job, but my car has never ran better, it's smoother and quieter than it was when it was new! I am so thankful for finding this place, I only spoke with Brian as he was the only one there, I don't know how he manages to do it, as he was fixing cars, answering the phone, and checking people in at the front desk, but he is my hero for helping me even when he was so busy already, he didn't even charge me for the magic he worked! I offered to pay him anything for helping me save my car and not having to buy a new one, but he declined and said he was happy to help. Magic hands, friendly, and handsome, too bad he isn't single, lol. Van Dyne Automotive has a new customer for life! One mechanic did what teams of others at much bigger places could not, the difference was finding a professional magician that knows what he's doing. Had a bent right, rear axle on my Tahoe and the whole rear-end was under warranty from Las Vegas…read more Jim tried to work with the parts company out of Vegas, but they were being difficult. They wanted him to remove the whole rear-end and pay for a new one to have them send another one to Ohio. Jim saved me a ton on labor by arguing that they only needed an axle replaced. He really tried to straighten it out when it really wasn't his problem. My Tahoe was at his shop for over a month (no charge) before we gave up on that company to remedy their faulty part and he had it fixed in a day. I came back up from NC, picked it up, and I'm back on the road with the vehicle driving smoothly again. Great work, and the best customer service I've dealt with at a mechanic shop...EVER. He was always available when I called and he always kept me in the loop. Very professional. 6 stars.
