A holiday savior! More things could've gone wrong, but we didn't mind a dead battery at the beach on July 4th weekend. This company came out within 20min of me calling them. Very professional and reliable, and we appreciated that, being tourists in Carmel. read more

Blew a tire, no big deal. Nelson shows up in record time. Fall off a cliff, fly over a divider, big deal. Nelson will likely show up in record time. And with, a big personality to boot. Conclusion: Call stop reading, and call Triple H Tow A+ recommended. read more

Nelson is the real deal when it comes to being professional and a totally decent, kind man! Based on how he treated us today, I believe all the 5 star reviews that get filtered (scroll down and enter the captcha data so you can see them) are true. I think so many get filtered because the reviewers only have 1-5 reviews on Yelp. Obviously they were so impressed and grateful that they "yelped" about it! The hubby and I successfully made it up Hwy 1 without a hitch. Hubby's a mechanic and he saw no indications that our battery would suddenly die right after we checked in to our hotel. The car was dead and we were stuck on a 3-day weekend Sunday around 4 PM. We also have no cell phone and no AAA membership, so we really needed help from someone like Nelson. Due to the great reviews about Nelson on Google, I called him and he came within 30 minutes. He jump started our battery and my mechanic hubby was ready to drive our car to get a battery. Nelson offered at least twice to drive him to get the battery and bring him back, plus he had the ratchets needed to change the battery. I insisted that Hubby take the offer and go with the dependable vehicle and very kind man - Nelson - to get the battery. And that he tip him very well! An hour later, Nelson and Hubby were back with a dependable battery around 6 PM on a Sunday. Battery was installed, and Nelson still wanted a small payment for his time and services. The tip matched what he asked for, and I would have easily tipped him double but he refused our offer to give him more! Call Nelson if you need a tow or other roadside assistance with your car in the Carmel/Big Sur area! read more

I had the misfortune of needing tow service today after becoming stranded by a catastrophic breakdown, in a downpour, alongside a busy rural highway, deep in the mud. My insurance-funded tow was dispatched to Triple H, and I was able to track Nelson's arrival through a GPS enabled program on my smart phone. I can't tell you how comforting it was to see the "truck" location moving closer to me, with a real time countdown displayed. Within 30 minutes, help had arrived. Nelson quickly helped me out of the car (which was stuck in thick agriculture mud) and got me situated in the warm truck while he worked to get my car unstuck and loaded on the flatbed. He checked in with me when it took a little longer than he'd hoped (he had to pull it onto concrete so it would stop slipping), and was comforting conversation on the 15 minute ride to my repair shop. He listened as I had a breakdown over the potential cost of my repairs, let me vent about the frightening symptoms the car exhibited that morning, and was genuinely kind and extremely professional. Prompt, respectful, professional, kind, and comforting. He'll be my requested tow service company from here on out. Thank you Nelson! read more

Nelson is fabulous! Total life saver... He helped me out of a tricky situation in Carmel Valley. My car was stuck down a dirt road with weak breaks. Nelson went above and beyond to meet me there, take a look, and safely drive it out. I would have spent ridiculous amounts of money to get anyone else to help me, and Nelson did such a great job. So appreciative to him for his help! Highly, highly recommend Triple H Tow for any tow or recovery needs in that area. read more

I've actually never used Triple H, but felt compelled to write to tell customers about this guy! I was following a thread on Facebook about a dog that was locked in a car. Nelson Holman posted that all anyone who saw this happen again could call his service. He said that his company would come and unlock the doors. For free. FREE! I want to do business with someone with integrity like this. I'm not here to discuss the laws surrounding this or the POS type of people who do this to their pets....just to tell you that Nelson is a stand-up guy! You need a tow? You should call Nelson! read more

Great team. Honest in an industry that needs more honest people in it. I use them to transport vehicles. First class service.

I had a rental car that would not start and found myself stuck in Big Sur without network and transport. The rental company managed to get me connected to Triple H Tow Service and it saved me a whole lot of trouble. Everything from professionalism to the skill which was required to get tow the car out of a tricky location was very much present. Use Triple H Tow Service, it got me out of a real messy situation! read more

I had to hike to the top of a mountain to get enough service to call Triple H Tow, but it saved my vacation! We were camping at Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park when our car died and we couldn't jump it with a portable pack. No cell reception, no AAA, no tow trucks for miles. The closest service was Triple H, so I hiked to get cell service and called. He was super sweet and arranged to come out that afternoon, and he told us to try to enjoy our day around the camp and go for hikes and explore. We took a short hike, lounged by the river for most of the afternoon, and around the time the tow was supposed to come I took a short walk around the campground and when I saw his truck heading in, I turned around and walked back to the campsite. When I got back five minutes later, the car was alive!! (Note to self and fellow Chevy HHR owners, the battery is in the TRUNK!) Triple H Tow completely saved our vacation! If something happens to your car ANYWHERE along the coast, Monterey to Big Sur, call Triple H Tow! They'll always find a way to help you out. 100/10 stars if I could! read more

Out of nowhere took a curb the other day just enough where I couldn't get the car off. Was the first one we called and he was here in no time, super friendly, and took great care of us! He was careful with the car (just bought it) and didn't act like it was any problem getting brought out at 10 at night. Great price! Much lower than I was expecting thankfully. Would highly recommend! He recently took over the business and had a great demeanor when talking with us afterwards. For a bad night, it was a good experience. Much thanks to Mark! read more

Nelson is amazing. We were stuck at the Inn at Spanish bay and he went out of his way to help get our truck to the shop. Then he drove us all the way to our hotel in Monterey - awesome guy and extremely helpful- I would recommend him highly! read more

This guy is the BEST! About 2 years ago this guy gave me and my girlfriend a tow for free when my alternator went out because he said his daughter was our age and he understands what its like for unfortunate things like this to happen to people our age! He said just remember to write a review on yelp, thats all he asked for! It was amazing, made our whole vacation not suck! Very thankful still and his daughter is lucky to have him as a father! Sorry it took so long to finally post this review had some down time after work and though, hey that free tow 2 years ago! read more

Let me just start by saying if you are looking for a tow truck stop reading reviews right now and just call Triple H!!! Their service is unbeatable and basically Nelson is the most amazing guy you will ever meet. Extended story...I was on a family vacation driving back from Hearst Castle when one of our tires completely blew out. My fiancé quickly replaced this tire with the spare, and we got back on the road. Not long after this the spare tire was destroyed, and we found ourselves stranded on the side of Highway 1. It was dark, cold, and none of us has cell service. My future sister-in-law and I left my fiancé and his parents in the car and hitchhiked 15 miles to Big Sur just to get cell service so we could call a tow truck. After fighting with AAA for literally over an hour, we just hung up and called Triple H. From the first minutes talking to Nelson I knew this guy was going to save us. He had knowledge of the area so he knew exactly where we were, and he even called CHP for us to make sure they were notified of our location. He showed up in Big Sur lighting fast, we found the car, and he loaded it on the tow truck in record time. Since it was a Saturday night and everything was closed, Nelson towed us up to Carmel, helped us find a hotel to stay at for the night, and even took our car to a local tire place that he knew would be open on Sunday. Nelson not only saved us from what could have been a terrible night, he actually made it enjoyable! Thank you thank you thank you Nelson and Triple H!!! read more

If there were six stars, I would give Nelson all six. I had a warrantee tow from Chevrolet. The agent called around for an hour, with everyone refusing the tow. She finally found Nelson: he was at my house in deep Carmel Valley in 30 minutes flat, and the tow hook up took five minutes. He knows the area, knows the roads, knows the various dealers and mechanics. Your first choice! read more

Great service! I recently sought lockout assistance in the Monterey area. Triple H Tow Service accepted by service request and gave me an excellent price. I was assisted rather quickly and was on my way. Thanks! read more

Nelson is a professional who will go the extra mile to get you on the road again. He literally saved me and my girlfriend when we were stuck outside of cell service in Big Sur. He was hospitable beyond measure! He's knows the road, worked as a mechanic for 8 years, and will treat you fairly! For some reason, a number of positive reviews for Triple H have been filter3d by Yelp. They are here: http://j.mp/ObhHIP read more

Nelson is THE BEST, hands down. If you want the long story, read on.. Our brakes went out on an ultra treacherous stretch of winding road in Big Sur, and we thought we were doomed. We had to hitchhike to a restaurant a few miles away in order to use their land line (no service anywhere in Big Sur), and our auto insurance miraculously found Nelson. Somehow, he and his tow truck were there to rescue us in about an hour in a half (which is amazing, considering we were completely isolated out there, and the woman at the restaurant said tow trucks normally take 3-4 hours to show up). When Nelson arrived, I was nervous-- we didn't know where we would have to have the car towed, where we would end up that night, or how we would get everything sorted out. On our 1.5 hour trip back to civilization, Nelson helped us sort everything out. He even helped us find a place to camp in Carmel (the closest mechanic) on a crowded, tourist-populated Saturday night, when every hotel room in town was booked. Basically, this man saved our weekend. He went above and beyond to help us out, and we're hugely grateful. Thanks, Nelson! read more

Let me just start out by saying that I truley think Nelson is an angel. Nelson arrived to change our tire - on hwy 1 at midnite- I had a car full of kids - just coming back to our hotel from Santa Cruz. By truley gods grace my insurance company sent Nelson who changed the flat, and we discovered the car wouldnt start- he gave the battery a jump but told us that he thought it was maybe a fuel filter. He even called to make sure we made it back to our hotel. However the next morning the car wouldnt start-- we called Nelson who after being up all nite on service calls showed up - trouble shooted the problem - discovered we had a leak in the fuel line-- left to the parts store came back fixed it and with a smile told us to have a safe journey-- he wouldnt accept any money.- - all I can think is maybe we were entertaining angels. read more

Nelson gets infinity gold stars from us every day forever and ever! My fiance and I had an extremely difficult request and he delivered above and beyond. We recently purchased a 22 feet mobile home and needed a relocation tow. The final destination involved a very technical and steep driveway. Imagine backing a long trailer down a steep hill while simultaneously turning sharply along a curve with inches to spare on either side of you and sometimes losing sight of where the trailer actually is...whew! He came out to our location to scout the area a week ahead of time. He told us that he thought the move was possible but it would be the hardest one he has ever done. That didn't scare Nelson though! He pulled it off and we couldn't be any happier. I am still amazed to this day how skilled he was...just wow! We will be using him again in the future. Also, he is very punctual and was always on location a few minutes early, clear communicater, and easy to get ahold of. Couldn't be any nicer of a man. Sincerely thank you read more

Brandon was seriously the sweetest guy ever! I was driving up from LA to SF and car started smoking. Called road-side assistance and they came so much faster than I thought and kept me posted along the way. I couldn't tow my car to Salinas because it was July 4th weekend and the Hyundai dealership was closed all weekend so they helped me tow it to Gilroy (Hyundai dealership open on weekend so I could get it checked before Monday) which was a little further. Brandon made sure I was safe in his truck and not standing around close to the freeway for safety reasons, helped me through the whole process of dropping off my car in the Gilroy dealership, helped get all my bags and luggage into his truck, even got the drop box paper for me, and ended up helping me get back to Salinas because there were no rental car place open around the area at night and I had a friend from Monterey who could pick me up in Salinas. Honestly, I had never gotten my car towed or even a car breakdown on me on a freeway so it was pretty scary for me. However, Brandon had a great conversation with me the whole time, made sure I was okay, never left me stranded, and was just so calm that I felt completely comforted during this entire process where I was going to freak out. THANK YOU BRANDON!!!! TRIPLE H, just wanted to let you know this guy is amazing and made my July 4th weekend so well worth the breakdown! Thanks for helping a lost soul during a crisis and making it all work out, can't thank you enough. read more

Had to use Triple H Towing after I left my lights on at Refuge, and Nelson came to our rescue in no time at all. Super awesome guy, and made a situation I thought that could've cost a good chunk of change and taken a lot of time very convenient. Thanks again Nelson. Highly recommend him!!! read more

I had to call Nelson from the Big Sur Campground on July 27 at about 9:15pm. He was there as quick as possible and was able to free my truck from an already fallen log that jammed itself under my right rear axle. :-) Excellent service! Nice gentleman. read more

The owner Nelson from Triple H Tow was super helpful picking up our company car after an accident. He had the best rates of anyone I called and showed up right away. I hope I don't need towed again, but if I do, I know who to call. read more

Nelson at Triple H Tow is simply the best. He is professional, efficient, and a super cool guy. He literally saved me and my husband when our wheel fell off (no exaggeration) on the highway and no other company wanted to take our call because getting us out of that location was HECTIC, not to mention close to dark on a Sunday night. Nelson to the rescue in his awesome flatbed truck got us out of that dangerous situation lightening fast and took us to a fabulous mechanic who started working on our vehicle first thing Monday morning. Believe me, if you break down anywhere near the Carmel area, you want Triple H Tow. Nelson is a lifelong resident and his local knowledge not only got us that great mechanic, but he even recommended a great hotel to stay the night. Man are we forever grateful, thanks again Nelson!!! ~Duke & Kimy read more

I was in Monterrey for work and got hit by a car on my motorcycle last June. Triple H just happened to be near the accident. He pulled over, reported the accident, and helped out until the emergency services got there. He was off duty and going home, but he stuck around. He loaded up my bike and gave me a ride to his yard, pointed me in the direction of the bar next door, so I could numb my pain while I waited for the insurance tow truck to haul me and my bike back to Santa Clara. They went way above what was needed!! No hassles, no hidden charges, just friendly help. read more

Triple H Tow Service is awesome. Very affordable, user friendly, and reliable! I will be using Mark for all tows moving forward.

"Triple H" could add a Hero sign on the side of the truck. If searching for reviews of whom to call, look no further Triple H is here, there, everywhere! Considerate, fast and excellent service. Nelson was extremely helpful and went BEYOND his way to help us out in a time of need. My mom and I went for job interview in Monterey CA from Elk Grove (Sacramento) CA. After dropping my mom off at her interview site 2 minutes later the car broke down! I called AAA of which was a HUGE headache and could tell you more about their story if you are interested message back. After 3.25 hours waiting to resolve the issue with AAA, they found Triple H and Nelson came within 15 minutes of the call to our exact location. Asked us if we were okay then asked about the problem with the car to see if he had a quick fix for it to get us on our way instead of the tow. Unfortunately it was a big problem with the suburban so it had to be towed to Sacramento. So he did. He went even went further as a Helpful Human as he dropped us home after reaching our mechanic shop location to drop us Home on his way back to Monterey. Making sure we had our breaks on the road and with lots of great stories to share of which i would love to share with you but i think it is better when you hear it from him directly. God forbids your car breaks down and you need a Hero. I wish him the best of luck with his adventures and again THANK YOU very much for making this situation easy and pleasant for both myself and my mother. Thank you Nelson and Triple H service. read more

I feel like this review is overdue considering the quick and friendly service by Mark at Triple H Tow. I'm from Santa Cruz and I got stuck in a Safeway parking lot in Carmel when my battery died after camping with some friends. I called my parents to get our policy number, and my mom (without me knowing but glad she did) contacted Triple H to see if they took our insurance. Mark told her he was actually in his personal vehicle near that parking lot with his family and that he would come by immediately, which he did. At this time I still didn't know he was coming by (I tried to replace the low key battery before I called someone leaving my phone in the car) but he found my vehicle and offered help right away. It did require a legit jump, so he told me he had to get his work vehicle and that he would be right back, which was also very quick! He jumped my car quickly/efficiently and was super nice. He even ran into another Carmel local that knew him and raved about how great he was--agreed! Thank you so much for the awesome service Mark and Triple H Tow! read more

Memorial weekend 2011...I am camping in Big Sur Campground loving the fact that I am out of Orange County/LA area for a beautiful weekend, when my car wont start. As I asked around the campground, it became apparent that the closest automotive service was 26 miles away in Carmel. I figured being 6.5 hrs away, I could be stuck for days, not to mention needing a 2nd job to pay for what was likely coming. But then the campground staff suggested I call Triple H Tow. At 6 pm Saturday evening Nelson at Triple H went out of his way to go purchase a new starter unit in Carmel, drive down first thing Sunday morning, and replace the unit and have me back on the road in 1 hour. I am 54...I've had a lot of cars in my life and I drive a lot period. I have never experienced such professionalism, and even concern for my well being as I did from this business. Highly recommended. Goes WAY beyond the call of duty for their customers. If this is possible, my weekend was actually "made even better" by this experience and even the pleasure of meeting such a great person. Big Sur...you now have as good a automotive service partner as you could ever hope for!! I hope you'll send lots of business their way. read more

There are no word to fully express what a great guy Nelson is! On a trip to the Peninsula to visit my family and friends my car completely died. It happened on the 4th of July (which was also my birthday!) and I was about 100 miles from home. Of course, there were no repair shops open that day and I needed to get home. I decided to have the car towed and was put in-touch with Nelson. Nelson arrived and put my mind at ease, he took the time to check a few things on the car to make sure it was not something that could be fixed easily. Just my luck, that it did indeed need to be towed. Nelson had my car hooked up and ready to go in no time, I reluctantly informed him that we would be going all the way to a small town in the San Joaquin Valley and that it would more than likely reach about 110 degrees before we got there. Nelson was unfazed by that news and we began the long journey. I was so sad that I was spending my birthday this way and on the verge of tears....but only for about 2 seconds. Between Nelson's positive attitude and pleasant conversation I found myself having a great time! After unloading my car Nelson took the time to show my nephew the whole tow truck and what all the controls did. I did finally breakdown in tears but they wear happy tears and brought on by Nelson's kindness and genuine care. If you are ever in need of a great towing company Nelson is the only one you need to call! Thanks again read more
